Jesus Christ. It's like they made Bass really ******** badass to make up for how much Protoman sucked.

So Bass can slide AND shoot in any direction? s**t, it's like they're making up for MegaMan's lack of charge shot and Protoman's double damage.

He can also ******** FLY.

HE CAN FLY, DASH, AND SOOT WHEREVER. WHY DON'T THEY JUST GIVE HIM A SPACESIP SO HE CAN JUST GET TO THE BOSS.

I had no problem blazing through the game, the only problems I had was at the final stages. Although, admitting I did find myself purchasing more energy tanks then I did one ups.

Does Bass cost extra points?

Edit: Wait, I see, you're talking about 10.

Yeah, in 10 I have to admit he's a little better. It seems like he can shoot and charge faster now at least, and parts of the game are built so his slide has an advantage.

Bass is pretty damn awesome, but he's actually balanced too. He can't shoot through walls with his normal weapon, which cripples you a lot more than you'd think.

Holding "down" and pressing the jump button should do it.
