In Legacy of Kain I'm scared of the part outside Dark Eden, there are these awful giant slug like creatures that just give me major heebie jeebies! Wolves, banshees, etc type monsters in the game are fine. These things scare me though. I run A LOT when I'm here, not that Kain runs well considering this is a 1996 PlayStation game, still, I spend way less time looking around like I usually do in games. Which is probably why for the longest time I never found the one spell I could never figure out. Because even though it's physically elsewhere in the game, access to it is found here.

So if you die and all the survivors are dead game over? Or return to last save point or whatever?

Haha, I wasn't expecting it to be totally realistic. However guns randomly strewn about and people raising from the dead (and not being zombies) are two different levels of unrealistic ^_~. Anyhow at least it leads to nice in the closet jokes razz .

I'd probably like playing her better than having her on a team, if she's going to just watch and let me die. I probably would play her. I tend to choose female characters in games initially if I can, and if I like them I stick with them. That is like them, not necessarily if I find them useful. They usually aren't the strongest/most skilled characters. Still, in Mario Kart I'm always Peach ^_~.

Ok, it probably wouldn't be anytime soon as I have been having way to many computer fails lately. And don't get your hopes up, haha, even if I find someone who has it, being able to access it at any regular basis isn't all that likely. Playing with friend's brothers just isn't the same at this age ^_~. Maybe my goal should be to find xBox people in England razz .

@JK: Yeah, Left 4 Dead is definitely not meant to be realistic. You get your organs ripped out by zombies and bandages on your legs magically heal everything.
Ah, sorry, I was going to write, 'your chest' but then thought that the hunters kind of just go for the entire general torso area, so just changed it to 'you' but forgot to get rid of the R. XD;;
See, Rochelle's not even like a bad character. Like she just has so little development, there's not really anything in her character to particularly dislike. She's just not interesting, so you stay kind of neutral to her as a character. But when you're playing with her, and she's a bot, that's when she really sucks. It's not her characterization; just the way she's programmed.
Yes, Nick and Ellis are very likable, and the best couple in the game as well, at least for Karma and me. :3
Yes, I'm aware of the Mac-ness. XD;; I only hope that the pure awesomeness of Left 4 Dead will help the Mac users see everything in a new light and switch to PC.

@Karma: Yay for being off topic! Karma Charger is scary... to JK, Karma Charger is the Charger that always seems to show up if you do something wrong, like attacking a teammate. Right after you do, he'll show up and run you off a building. He's always watching...

Luigi's Mansion scared me at points, but not as much as some Zelda stuff. Especially the Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time. *shivers* It still scares me, no matter how many times I beat that game.
Thanks for answering questions for me. =D To JK, I know it seems pretty unrealistic to come back from closets and all of that kind of thing, but the game is really quite difficult, especially the second one, so they need to give you some way to come back, because death is quite common. Oh, and campaigns are long sessions that you play at a time. There's five campaigns per game, but they sometimes create more to add. Each campaign has a different theme, like in Left 4 Dead 2, there's one in the city with a building, a gun shop, the mall, there's one in a carnival, one in a swamp, one in an area with really heavy rain, and one near where you can escape with the military.
I want to get the game so much... but I need a good quality PC first. XP Don't think my laptop could handle it.
I was pretty much considering Nick and Ellis from the beginning, but once I saw how much you were into it, I did more research into it and it ended up becoming my favorite pairing. XD I think Francis/Louis was before then.

@JK: Chargers are easier to fight than Tanks, so yes.
I'm most scared of things that you have lack of control of in video games. Like in Zelda, Redeads can freeze you with their stare, and then you can't run or fight them. That really scares me. And Wallmasters scare me because they just come down from the wall and grab you, and you can't really fight them when they do. And... and Moblins, because they charge at you so fast, you can't fight back. ;_;
If all of the survivors are killed, incapacitated, or grabbed by a Smoker/Hunter/Whatever, then it's game over, but you get returned to your last safe room, so it's not the end of the world. It's quite common to get game overs on the last level of a campaign, because that's when you have the finale that contains many hordes of zombies, and usually more than one Tank.
Well, the zombies in the game aren't living dead; they're just infected, like in 28 Days Later. XD And the survivor characters are immune, so they won't become zombies regardless. They just happen to have magical coming-back-to-life-in-closets abilities.
I wouldn't play as Rochelle first if you're playing on PC though, because she's a super loud screamer, and in the PC version, she screams right in your ears. It's just hard to concentrate when you're new to the game and that's going on. And she's perfectly fine to play with as a team member as long as a human is controlling her instead of a bot. Either way though, none of the characters have any advantages over others; it just depends on your preference in personality. Oh, though I will say that Louis tends to get attacked by Smokers most often, Zoey by Hunters, Nick by Chargers, and Ellis by everything but Chargers. XD;; Even in the opening video for Left 4 Dead 2, Ellis gets grabbed by like three or four special zombies, and no one else hardly gets grabbed at all. XD
Oh, and the Dr. Nick thing is because sometimes when Nick is healing one of his teammates, he says, "Okay, now just let Dr. Nick fix you up." He's only joking, because he's a gambler, not a doctor, but someone put his dialogue to Dr. Mario music and made him singing about being Dr. Nick. XD Then, since he's Nick, who doesn't really give much of a damn about others, they make him all a crappy doctor in the video. He also has quite a potty mouth, so they added that in as well. Then they just pasted his head on a doctor and viola. XD

I like Coach/Nick as well, but it's not one of my all-time favorites. XD I think my most favorites are Nick/Ellis, Zoey/Louis, Francis/Louis, and Zoey/Rochelle.
My laptop doesn't actually fail much at all. It's pretty fast, and I take good care of it, so it almost never has problems. But it still only has 2GB of RAM, and not much memory, so it would have difficulty running a game like Left 4 Dead. It doesn't even have a good enough graphics card to display The Sims 3 properly.

Yea I like games where when you die you beam down from the sky onto a save pad or something. So death is really alien abduction, and after the probing you get to be alive again, because that's punishment enough ^_~.
