I've decided to give the Beatles more of a chance lately. So far I really like Abby Road.
That's about it for experimentation for me. Oh and Vaettur..."p***y power metal?" ******** you.

I now kind of understand the can of worms statement a bit.
But anyways, everyone has their tastes. The point of this thread is to look up genres or bands you've felt like you've neglected lately. Post any highs/lows/interesting notes you've gathered from your venture into that said genre/band.

@Kyro: I don't know if they're considered grunge nowadays, but you should try Faith No More if you haven't already.
@LoA: Dont't need to take it personal.

Not sure if this counts or not, but I like the movie/album synch "Dark Side of the Rainbow", where you take Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (you need the CD, and not the 30 year anniversary one (also the album itself is pretty good in my opinion, it's alt-rock, but you might like it, Kyro)) and The Wizard of Oz. I want to try synching it up with Alice in Wonderland next.
That whole synchronicity genre is freaky, trippy s**t.
And also, I agree, everyone does sound alot alike. It's all for the money now, anyway.

I've been looking into finding some good "mood music" lately. Just want it on hand for any future girlfriends or for any easy listening. If anyone can recommend me some good "mood music" in the RnB, Jazz, or even techno or electronic department, please do so.
@GrowingDandelion: Not entirely true. And that was just a quote from TWEWY. I just thought it would be funny to put that into this topic...and to use whenever my cousins bring up their love for the tween-pop s**t that Disney now whores itself off of.
