I don't really see how the Blue Ocean approach is like the Eye Toy.

Owwin Allegro Owwin Allegro The first market to appeal to REALLY appeal to casual gamers was the mobile phone, in Japan. It's caught on to some degree here, but seriously. People LOVE phone gaming over there. (also tentacles and futa and guro and ew) How come all that stuff hasn't made it onto the wii? I want me some bloody dicktopus. mmmmmm. Don't you remember tearing off Gooper Blooper's Tentacles in Sunshine? I bet you fapped. That boss battle was pretty epic. Delicious. you were like j**z GET

Wayne isn't saying that they invented going after the nongamers and whatever, or that they invented all of these casual gamer games, he's just saying that Nintendo popularized them for home consoles recently, and it's apparent that both Microsoft and Sony are following in their footsteps, yeah?

Didn't Nintendo predict that the Blue Ocean would turn into another Red Ocean?
Oh god. What will they do to differentiate themselves next.

Well yeah, that's obvious, but I wouldn't say that they're emulating Nintendo, and I wouldn't say that it's a bad thing, either.

Trenn Flashkill KINECT SPORTS Yes, they're doing a bit of emulation. Every time someone does something similar to something else we draw comparisons to the two items. This is no different, yet every time it happens people get upset that someone would have the gall to say that THEY copied THEM and that THIS COMPANY didn't INVENT such and such THING.
