Personality

Likes : the feeling of cold water splashing on him, the scene of a sunset, making different colors, running around in the rain.
Dislikes : squelching hot temperatures, the swamp when it's too quiet, young, immature kimeti, spicy foods, algae
Personality : Stones is probably more mature than he should be. Small kimeti that act their age, which is an immature age, annoy him a lot. He can't stand rude comments or people having loud fun. He's essentially the scholarly type, enjoying painting with the various colors he makes out of berries, roots, plants, etc. He hangs each painting up in the cave he lives in.
Hobbies : Stones enjoys painting, contemplating the lives of kimeti, telling stories, etc.

History

Stones wasn't much of a social kid growing up. He didn't wanna go play silly games like the other foals did, he wanted to figure out why things were the way they were or why they happened. Growing up, he did stay in a herd and was fairly social, but when it came to alone time, he paints and hypothesizes where kimeti came from actually, and why they are so much alike the strange creatures in the plains. That has been a main topic that has troubled him for a while now, so if he's not conversing in the herd, one would be able to see him standing at the edge of the swamp, watching the plains, trying to understand the world outside.

Naming Dream

Every dream starts with a stillness. An awakening. This time, however, it doesn't. He comes back to reality, from some sort of trance, he assumes, to the sound of the subtle splashes of water. Where is he? All he can see now is fog. White, dense fog. The sound, other than his light breathing, is the only thing to be heard over the deafening silence.

Taking a deep breathe, he closes his eyes. Opening them again, the fog has cleared a little, revealing to him that he is on an immense rock in the middle of a sea. A lake, possibly. The fog was too thick to tell. All around him proved the source of the noise. Tiny pebbles, medium pebbles, and a few large pebbles were gliding across the water. Every foot or so, they'd lose altitude, but gain it again as they skipped off the water instead of sinking. After a few skips, they'd lose their faith, their hope, to make it to the edge, and they gave in to the depths below. Other stones took their place, skipping along the water.

Why wasn't there anyone else here to experience this beautiful sight? Surely it was surreal, but how was he to be so sure that it was or wasn't a dream? Continuing to watch the stones, he got into a trance, not worrying any longer about whether or not someone could witness this with him. He wanted this all to himself, to not have to share this memory with any other. That way, they couldn't taint it. These stones were innocent as they skipped along the water, hoping that they'll have enough energy to make it to the other side.

Would he make it to the other side? Surprisingly, he felt more tired as he watched. Were these stones taking his energy to make it themselves? It felt like it was so. As another hopeful pebble threw itself into the air from the lake's bottom, he felt his body wear more and more on him. Surely, he wouldn't be able to make it this way. But the stones, the stones would carry him.
