Lysander didn't want to get in the middle of that, so without saying anything to Lola, he followed Meggie to the table. "Um.. Well.."
It hadn't taken Lola to long to get the cones ready. She had been doing this for years, not only had she built up arm muscles, but she had gotten so good that she didn't break the cone. Walking over with their cones, she handed it to them. Telling them their price she took hold of the money that Lysander gave her.
"Keep the change."
With that she left, "I'll be in the back." She didn't want to be near that girl.
Once Lola was in the back, Lysander looked back at Meggie. "I guess they've known each other since they were 5 and 6. My step mom told me about it one day." Woman and their gossip. "So I really don't know. I don't understand-" He stopped himself before he said humans. "Those two. Maybe they're afraid that if they start dating, and if something goes wrong and they break up.. Their friendship will be out the door. Then who will help them with the shop? Her older sister, Cindy. The one who runs this place is pregnant, and her husband isn't very good at the whole ice cream making thing. So that only leaves Lola and Josh to run the store.." Wow.. He totally just blabbed it all out to this girl he just met. "Er.." Oops.

Meggie felt kind of bad that she made Lola storm out, but like normal she was over it instantly. She listened to Lysander's view on the topic and when she heard the 'oops' she realized that he probably said to much, so to make it up to him she put in her relationship advice. "I think, if they feel like it's the next step then they should go for it, yes there's the possibility of it burning up in flames, but it could also be like they are Made For Each Other. And you have my honorary word that if things do blow-up I will work at the Ice cream shop."

Lysander couldn't help but smile. 'How sweet.' He thought. "Well, alright. As long as I have your honorary word." Slowly his smile began to fade, "I'd work here if I could, but my dad wants me to focus everything I have on school and the extra classes. He won't let me have a job, not even during summer." Shrugging it off, he began to eat his ice cream. "Mmm. Nothing like Ice Cream towards the end of the day." It was already reaching 4:30 in the afternoon.

"Why are studies so important to your dad? But if your ever wanting to hang out again, we could be study buddies." Meggie was just finishing up her mango ice cream and it was getting late, "Let's walk and talk, c'mon." she said getting up and practically dragging him up from his seat.

"Um, well." Not getting the chance to answer her question, he was dragged up and off of the chair. Shoving the end of his ice cream cone in his mouth he quickly ate it. Swallowing, he pushed the door open for her. "Where are we going?" The park maybe?

"The park, and then after a bit we could go back to the school, so you can go study, since it's that important." She smiled and dragged him out the door, and out into the town's nightlife and straight to the park.

Sliding to a stop in front of the Ice Cream Shop, Phoebe panted slightly. All this working out was starting to tire her. Though, thank goodness the open part of her skin wasn't sweating. That would be the last thing she would need to get burned by the sun. Glancing in at the store she could see a pregnant woman. Where was Josh and the girl he liked? Looking away, she leaned against the buildings wall, waiting for Meggie to catch up to her. The beauty of being a vampire, you can move unbelievably fast when you really wanted to.

Meggie coasted up to the Ice Cream Shop and stopped her bike. She locked it up and met up with Phoebe, "I lost." she said with a smile. She held the door open for Phoebe and walked up to the counter "Inside or Out?" she asked as they waited in line.

Standing next to Meggie in line, she had her eyes on the flavors trying to pick out which one she would like to have. "Um.. Well, last time we ate outside, right?" Scanning through the flavors, she began to think which one seemed the most yummy at the moment. "So let's stay inside for now, enjoy the air conditioning." Smiling, she had figured out which one she wanted. "What flavor do you want?"

Just as Meggie was about to answer her question, her phone went off. A Night In Vegas Dance the screen flashed "Phoebe! We have to get to the dance!" she exclaimed. It had almost slipped her mind. She grabbed Phoebe's arm and took her back to the school leaving for the dance.

She could have fought Meggie off easily, but first of all. She wouldn't do that. The girl was her best friend. And secondly, she wanted to go to the dance! "WOOO!" She screamed happily as she followed Meggie out the door back to the school.

Meggie skipped up to the ice cream shopping giggling "Ice cream is perfect for anytime of day." she said as she looked at him as he came up behind her. She smiled at how graceful he looked "So uh.. um, they've got every flavor here, so what do you want? Or are you too worried you'll get sick?" she asked him with a smile spread across her face.

Hands in his pocket, Pegasus took in every little detail as they walked along. Reaching the ice cream shop, his eyes met with Meggies' as she looked back at him. "No, I'm only worried for your health." He laughed, "Pancakes and THEN ice cream. But.. I guess since you're doing it, I'll go ahead and have some too." Smiling he held the door open for her and followed in behind her. Looking at the ice cream list, he went right up and asked for, "A vanilla small cone, please." Looking over at Meggie he waited for her to order as he dug into his pocket for his wallet.
Standing at the counter, Lola sighed seeming like she just wanted to get off and do something else. As if the ice cream shop was just a waste of her own time. Punching in what he asked for, she looked over at Meggie. Remembering her and her friend. Taking a look at the guy she was with she couldn't help but think how out of her league he was.

"Okay, and that comes to two dollars and fifty cents." Sighing, she looked at Pegasus waiting for him to hand her the money.
Pulling out his wallet, he took out three dollars and handed it to her. "Keep the change." Sure it was only fifty cents, but it would still help either her or who ever else coming in out.
"Whatever." Grumbling she went to go and make the ice cream at the same time putting the fifty cents into an empty clear cup at the side of the cashier.
Walking over to an empty table, he pulled out a chair and stood behind it for Meggie. "Someone's a little bit cranky." He chuckled the moment Meggie came over to the seat to sit down, not much caring if the girl would hear him or not.
