Desmond scratched the back of his head, he had forgotten that it had been fractured a few hours before. He couldn't remember it very well in the first place, something to do with fracturing your skull by falling I guess. Who knew? "How long have you been going to Black Rose?" he asked.

Ivy shrugged. "Not very long. Me and Poison just moved around here." She looked at the ground.

"I guess you were working nonstop before then?" Desmond asked, guessing based on what she said about working all the time.

"Yup. After moving around for about 50 years after being kicked out of Hell." Ivy shook her head. "50 years more of wandering from town to town working out fingers to the bone." She sighed lightly.

You could tell Desmond was doing something when he was missing an arm, he changed his bandaged arm into a shadow and made it reappear after a few seconds, the wrapping was off and where skin should have been was Styrofoam. "Speaking of bone." he said smirking as he pulled a piece of Styrofoam off to reveal the two bones in his forearm, they were plain white. He used shadows to hide the part where skin dropped away to the bone.

Ivy raised an eyebrow and looked at his arm. "What's up with your arm?" She asked curiously.

"Car accident, really messed me up." Desmond pointed at his eye that had a grey-ish line going through it with the red of a scar on both top and bottom. "I say it's a good thing I don't have to wear an eye patch."

Ivy nodded. "Oh." She smiled lightly. "But if you wore an eye patch you'd be a pirate." She said mainly trying to get him to laugh.

Desmond's arm disappeared and reappeared, now with the bandages on it. "But you can't be a pirate unless you have a parrot." he smiled, nearly chuckling.

"True..." Ivy thought for a moment. "But some pirates didn't have parrots." She laughed lightly.

Desmond shrugged "They all have boats, cool hats and a crew." he couldn't help but laugh. He hadn't been happy in... Well since before he died.

Desmond smirked. "That's what they all say." he couldn't help but smile. "You know, I haven't laughed for a long time, it feels good not to be doom and gloom guy, you know?"

"Really?" Ivy smiled. "And yea... it does feel nice... Poison usually plays doom and gloom for me." She laughed lightly. "And I have to say, making you laugh feels like a mission accomplished." She smiled.
