✗ Her eyes perked up but then went down, pouting as she suddenly felt like a child. Kari nodded, wrapping her own fingers around his before she pushed them away.

✗ "We'll meet tomorrow, for now I'm staying with these guys. So I have to go wherever they go and I don't know if they'll stay in Twilight Town for that long but I'll persuade them." She shrugged once again, rubbing the back of her head as she suddenly felt meek and shy.

✗ From the other side she could hear loud banging and more movement, which made her jump a bit before turning her head to look at the door as if they might come through any second. Kari addressed back to Roxas, giving him a slight nod before putting her hand on the door knob. "I'll see you tomorrow."

✗ Kari woke up the next morning, but not because she was ready, because she couldn't stand the snoring. When she turned to her left there laid Sora, his mouth wide open while he snored out, although it wasn't loud it was audible and the collective sounds of Donald's and Goofy's only made his magnitude.

✗ Kari rubbed her eyes, feeling pieces of her hair infront of her face before she took the time to move them out of the way, making herself able to see once more. She stood up, wobbling to the window before peeking out of the curtains. The sun was up, meaning that it was a new day and for the first time in a while she was excited. Glad to be with a new group who was positive instead of being with the Organization, who knew what this day had in store for her?

✗ She turned around, seeing that Sora was asleep on the bed, spread out while the blanket only covered a quarter of his body and his arms and legs laid all over the place. On a make-shift cot laid Donald, sleeping on sheets from the bed while he quacked out his snores; and then there was Goofy. Goofy who's head was leaning against the wall while the rest of his body laid on the floor. She thought for a minute, grabbing her clothes and changing - not really caring since they were all asleep - wondering if she should get them breakfast for their generosity. Kari choose the option, going out of the room and down into the inn's lobby to see what she could command up.

✗ Thirty or so minutes later she had brought food back up to the room, busting down the door with her foot as she lugged it inside. Of course this made all the boys sit straight up, drool hanging off of Sora's mouth before he whiped it off and stared at her blankly. With a sigh and a roll of her eyes she dropped it off on the small dresser, the aroma wafting into the air as they all got up and went over to check it out.

✗ The day moved by slower than she hoped, her stomach churning and becoming anxious with the wait. Kari had convinced the gang to take a tour around the town before they left, hopefully that would settle them down for a bit; long enough that she would be able to go meet Roxas for however long they could meet. They walked around the town letting Kari point out places for good snacks, building up their arsenol and other things.

✗ Sooner or later the sun had to set, and it did, making it's way for the moon which slowly rose making their colors clash together and create a weird hue. "We better go now Kari," she stopped in midstep, turning her neck around and looking at the trio. "Yeah, we've been here all day! It's time to get a move on!" She stopped pouting and crossing her arms before sighing, "Alright but can I go say goodbye to my friends first?" Sora looked at Donald then the passive Goofy, shrugging his shoulders and giving a quick nod. "Ok then, we'll be on our gummiship." "And don't be late!" Kari grinned, turning around and giving them a quick wave before skipping backwards and finally turning around to run off as fast as she could to the clocktower.

✗ Kari ran up the staircase outside the trainstation, panting slightly even though there were only a few steps. She reached the inside, no trains were ready at that moment and everything was silent and turned off. Still she was unsure of herself, Kari knew that there was no one there but the thought of making Sora and his friends wait for her made her feel unsettling.

✗ After standing there for another moment she ran up, breathing a bit harder with each step that she stumbled up. No trains working meant everything was turned off, even the elevator. But just because she was breathing hard didn't mean she was tired, she was just a bit underworked. Still she pushed on, holding onto the railing as her feelings got the best of her, making her second-guess her own footsteps. Each door that she pushed through, leading to another level of the station, made her feel powerful but at the same time as if she was running out of time. Sora and the gang would probably only wait for a few minutes, after all she had said she was going to say goodbye to a friend not conversate with him - which she was actually planning on doing.

✗ Kari pushed through the last door, running a few steps and then stopping to catch her breath which had faded from her. She caught herself, standing up straight after stooping over and walking over to the front of the clocktower; having finally made it. "You know...I don't remember the tower being this big."

✗ She leaned forward, wiping her cheek and chin with the back of her hand before taking the pop from him; but she choose to lean back against the wall rather than sit down. "Thanks," She licked the tip, looking at the town below them and not thinking of pointing out that she already knew that fact about him.

✗ "We're not going to be able to talk for long, Sora and everyone is waiting for me." She scratched the side of her head, feeling sheepish for some reason at mentioning the name of her newly made friend. Kari bit a chunk off, letting the ice cream sort of melt in her mouth but stay frozen at the same time.

✗ Kari sighed, a quarter way done with her own stick while she kept her eyes on the town still. "So we'll only have time for maybe two or three questions, and I don't know where they'll take me either."

✗ Kari stepped forward a bit, sitting down on the floor rather than the ledge like Roxas. "Hm, um. For a long time I guess. I guess when you joined the Organization for the first time."

✗ She leaned her elbow on the edge, using her hand to prop her head up while she looked away from Roxas; in a different direction. Kari began to finish her popsicle, getting more than halfway done with it. "Do you know what you're going to do next?"

✗ Kari didn't look at him while she directed the question at him, trying to distance herself off from him just a bit knowing that they might not see each other for a bit. "Sora says that they go wherever the heartless are."

✗ The ice cream began to reach its end, getting lower and lower but not melting since the day had gotten cool quickly. She readjusted the way she sat, turning from her side to the view infront of her once again.

✗ "What?" Kari perked up, letting her wrist dangle off the edge along with the nearly finished icecream. Her stomach flopped around, becoming sick at the thought of Roxas leaving the Organization again. Last time he did that things had gone horribly wrong, what would happen this time? She stood up, dropping her icecream over the edge before she grabbed his face and panicked.

✗ "You can't do that! What if they turn you into a dusk? They're not stupid Roxas, they always know where you are, always." She swallowed, feeling a bit sick as her voice had gotten louder than usual. But she pulled herself back and plopped down onto the ground, only looking at the roof's texture.

✗ Kari pulled her eyebrows together at his own temper, jumping a bit but still looking down as she felt and heard the thump of his hand. A minute later she did look up, slightly mad just like he was. "Well what else are you supposed to do? Xenmas will destroy you."

✗ She leaned forward and grabbed his hand, opening it up and seeing that the side of looked damaged. "And now look what you did! They'll ask about this too! You have to watch yourself, you can't let them one-up you."

✗ Kari let it go, not having anything to wrap it up with anyways as she wiped her owns hands on the pavement; scraping off Roxas' blood.
