She smiles brightly at the prospect of leaving the apartment. She wanted to see how clear the world was to her now that she was a vampire. "Yeah, of course! I'll have to call dad later and explain to him why I am using his credit card though," she states, walking towards her room to grab her new tennis shoes and a pair of socks. "Besides just telling about the supplies, I know I have to call since I haven't talked to him in a couple of days. Seriously, considering how long it's been I'm surprised he hasn't called in a swat team or something!" she chuckles, running a brush through her hair easily before walking back out to him. "So, shall we?"

"True, he'd probably flip out more," she chuckles. Sure, most of the time his reactions are more on the annoying side, but some times they can be amusing as well. She grabs the fans off of the counter, slipping them into her belt out of habit before walking out the door. "When we get back, you've gotta rest. I can feel you becoming more and more tired with each passing moment, which can't be good or normal," she states, eyes full of worry. But then she walks down the hall and towards the stairwell, trusting Cade to lock the door.

"I didn't say sleep, I said rest. Vampires can relax, right?" she asks, blinking as footsteps approach the duo when they reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Miss Promenade, are you alright? I haven't seen you in a few days," the landowner asks, causing her to sigh in annoyance.

"Yes, I'm fine. And before you ask, this is a wig," she states, walking past the shocked landowner with her eyes shut. She didn't need the guy to run off to her dad before she could call him herself. She could say that she had been getting situated in her room and a new friend helped her out. Yeah, that's a good enough excuse. When she reaches outside, she takes in a deep breath, sampling the scents around her. The smog she could do without, but she could scent flowers, people passing by(though they smelled more like 'dinner' reaction than 'beautiful' reaction), the trees, the wildlife and pets all around them. It is a little overwhelming, but she finds it enjoyable anyways. "So, you've been here longer. Any hardware stores near-by?"

She blinks at his rage, finding it almost overwhelming. Sure, the guy was annoying, but to warrant the want to kill him? That's taking it a step too far, that is for sure. She sighs in relief though when he snaps out of it, telling her about the hardware store down the street. "Alright. Then, let's go Cade!" she exclaims with a happy chuckle, grabbing him by the hand to walk towards the hardware store happily. Ah, to get rid of the frills and pink is going to be great.

She chuckles at his surprise, smiling brightly. "Come on, relax a bit Cade! Seriously, danger isn't around every single corner you know," she states with a sigh, looking at the large hardware store before her. She walks in through the door he opens, examining the signs to lead her to the paint department. She nods when she sees the sign leading the way, smiling brightly while leading her along. Yes, this day was going to be awesome!

She blinks as the flood of emotions come from him, making her double guess the wisdom of this little shopping expedition. Well, she had to get him out of the current mindset and into something more comfortable. She's snapped out of it though as a salesperson walks over.

"Do you know what colors you're looking for today?"

"Yes, I would like midnight blue, turquoise, magenta, violet, dark red, grass green, burnt sienna, aquamarine, a green shaded like a leaf, and a glow-in-the-dark yellow," she lists off, having learned to say exactly what you want or run the risk of being ripped off and being led around by the nose.

She looks at him, bitting her lip in worry. Something is definently wrong, she has to get them out of here fast before something goes terribly wrong. So, she rushes the clerk along, grabbing each color easily as it is grabbed. When finished he walked back over, blood on his lips causing her to frown. "Alright, all set miss."

"Thanks," she states, not meaning to be rude but she had to hurry. "Well, got what we need Cade. Let's jet," she states, grabbing two cans of paint her hand.

"Do you need help with those?"

"Nope, me and my friend here got it," she states, leaving the other half of the cans to him.

"Well, three things really. One, your body is exhausted even without the need to sleep, second, I can feel your raging emotions loud and clear and it isn't good, and third, well," she pauses on the last point, not wanting to say it aloud. Sure, she was full, but she was sorely tempted into drinking a few people dry right there and then. She knows she can be clean with him, but she didn't want guilt to rear its head again,he didn't need that on top of everything else.
