Alright here is my problem with gay rights. You have people that legitimately suffered and died for their rights, woman's rights and minority rights. Lets look at good 'ol MLK. Or Ghandi? That guy died. Remember that? What does the LGBT community have to show for it? A fabulous ******** march on Washington? Gays in the US do have rights. Those rights are granted by God: Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Granted, the bible forbids same-sex couples to marry, since the bible describes them as abominations. So religiously versus socially, that controversy is still being contested, because arguments are thrown both ways to where it ends in a stalemate. I can see a conjoint will being considered a marriage, but religiously, it's impossible to accept it among a christian society.

In my opinion, you can do what ever you want to do. I'm pro-choice when it comes to this, but religiously, I'm against same-sex couples marrying under holly matrimony.

TL;DR version, God says no, California says ITS OKAYYYYY!

I have been attacked at a rally, actually, thank you very much. As for martyrs, a 15-year-old a few miles away from the town I call home hung himself because he couldn't take the stress of being bullied for his sexuality. In Texas, a 13-year-old shot himself in the head to end the torment from his peers. Sorry if that's not enough for you.

BAWWWWWWW. Here is basically what you said, "I had to fight for my beliefs, so I gave up." And look up the term martyr slick. Its being KILLED for your beliefs, not killing yourself cause you couldn't take the heat. Way to play the tough guy role though, I lol'd pretty hard.

EDIT: ALSO, the main point of my rant was a call to action for the LGBT community, you tool. I'm bi myself, and guess what NOBODY bothers me about it. Wanna know why that is? I fought for it. I didn't go home and get on gaia and say BAWWWWWWW PEOPLE ARE SO MEAN. Ya'll need to learn that haters are going to hate. Get over your sissy little emotions and fight back, OR better yet show the people making you cry about your life that you REALLY don't care what they think. So before you go assuming things about me, why don't you get to know me first? After my campus was targeted by anti-gay/anti-black protests, I was among the people to stand up. I stand at the LGBT booth at our local farmer's market. And I'm not afraid to be me in public. So here's a summary of what you said: "What? oh, that's tl;dr, so I'll just make up your argument for you."

A martyr is punished for their beliefs slick. Not self-inflicted. English isn't even my first language and obviously I grasp it better than you do. And I simply assume from what I've been shown.
