Allyster looked at her "Because yuor staying with me." he said and looked at her deviously. Someone picked up "Miss winters!" he said "Hey..Listen tell Ulric I am stopping by to drop off his present early." he said and listened "What?" he said and laughed "Don't let him do it..don't let him be like his no life brother.." he said and smiled "alright...be there in a moment." he said.
Allyster looked at her and went to the book and into the Garage. He found a motorcycle there "Alright.." he said an go on "Come on Miss Williams." he said. He waited for her to get on and handed her the helmet. He set the cat in the basket and watched her.

Hayden got on the back of the motorcycle, the cat in the basket, and they rode off. She thought she saw him smile and laugh when he was on the phone but it was too close of a call. Allyster wasn't know for smiling and/or laughing. Either way, she had to do something to get his mind off of her being the Night Mistress. But how?
"Where are we going?" She asked as they rode. Hayden didn't think he actually heard her because he didn't say anything. Either that or she couldn't hear him. It did, however, feel nice to actually ride on a motorcycle. She had never been on one and liked the change.

Allyster looked back t her "To my brothers house." he said and drove faster. After a few minutes they stopped infront of the house were a little 3 year old boy was playing. When the boy saw he ran over to them. Allyster got ff and picked him up "Hey man!" he said and smiled putting him on his shoulder. The cat jumped off the bike and began to run around. Allyster looked at the boy " Yours.." he said and let him down a he chased the cat.
Allyster sat down and started to bike. He saw Miss Winters and smiled before driving off " Okay..." he said and drove into the city. He let out a small sigh "Alright then." he said and drove all the way to his home which was bigger than most would image.

When they reached the house, Hayden was stunned. A little boy, who was cute as a button, ran up to Allyster and embraced him. The boy noticed her and Hayden gave a small wave. The cat jumped out of the basket and Hayden understood. This little boy was Allyster's brother. But there was something she didn't understand.
Without another word, Hayden got back on the bike and waved goodbye to the little boy. They drove all the way home and Hayden hadn't said a word. When they finally stopped in the garage, Hayden couldn't keep it in anymore. "I assume that was your brother but what I don't get is why is he in a foster home? Where are his, or, your parents? And even if your parents are gone why can't he stay with you? Clearly, you have to be the rightful guardian."

Allyster shrugged and stayed quiet for a second. He looked at her and shook his head "Like I said, I am a mad man." he said "I blew up the psychiatric ward, I am a detective, It's dangerous for him to be with me." he said "Besides...he ha a good life with them..they might adopt him..no guarantee I might survive long enough to take care of him." he said.
Allyster went inside the house and smiled. He shook his head "Welcome to my humble abode." he said even though the inside was bigger than the outside. He looked at her "Since you are in my charge...you stay with me" he said. He sighed "I will go unfreeze yuor account but encode it so it can't be tracked." he said.
He took of his shirt and put on his fathers as he went into another room. He sighed and began to type. No one could really track his computer. As a detective he had to do things like this all he cared about doing was stopping this mob boss right now. Her question about their parents saddened him.

Hayden felt guilty about asking about his brother and his parents. Clearly, both topics made him even more upset. But another thought occurred to her. If he was "mad," why was he still even able to keep his job as detective? Obviously, no one would ever hire an insane detective. No matter how good they were. Hayden just assumed that he wasn't that "mad."
As they walked into the house, she looked around. It was strange being in "enemy" territory. This was his domain now. His lair where he slept and where he studied who she really was, though he still failed to have proof. All over the living room were newspaper articles missing a section or two. Hayden could guess what was missing from each paper.
Hayden followed him into another room where he would 'unfreeze' her account. This shocked her. He hated her, and yet, he was willing to give her back all of her money. No strings attached. All over the walls of the room hung the missing newspaper clippings. All about the Night's Mistress. Some even had red markings on them. They were circles of her signature.
"Wow," Hayden sighed, "you really go all out for this Night's Mistress chick. She's really got you hung up on finding who she is." Hayden watched as he unfroze her account and placed his own code in it so it couldn't be tracked. "Thank you," she told him. "You know, now that my bank is unfrozen, I could hire my best lawyers and help you get your brother back. Think of it as a thank you for putting up with me and unfreezing my account."

Allyster shook his head "No..." he sad "normal life..." he said and looked round "Besides...shes my biggest case." he said. He left the room and put on his detective outfit. He walked out and smiled "Comfy." he said. He laughed and walked around "I could still shoot you.." he said.
Allyster looked at her "Now....I'm going out...you can stay or come with me." he said and smiled. He went to the door "To the bank!" he shouted and gave an evil laugh. He stepped out and looked at the town. He drew his gun and waited to see if she was coming.

Hayden raised her eyebrows at his new outfit. "You really are a modern day Sherlock. All your missing is a short fat guy who goes by the name of Watson." For some reason, she found it pleasing that her case, the Night's Mistress case was his biggest. She almost felt like a comic book villain.
"Might as well," Hayden shrugged, "I've got nothing better to do." Which was partially true. Even if she wanted to steal something it would have to wait until night time. Not to mention, it would be a challenge to get past Allyster; especially when she was right under his nose.

Allyster smiled "I had one once...didn't like it.." he said "Shot him in the back when I saw him trying to steal." he said. He strolled outside and to his other bike which waited there. He got on and waited until she did. He took off at top speed and to the bank.
He stopped in the back and saw that the police were still searching. They obviously made no progress "Amateurs..." he said and looked at the way into the office where tellers went. He got off and went up to the guard silently. He got behind him hit a pressure point where he would be put to sleep. He smiled he was doing something that would normally kill people but he didn't do it that hard.
He went inside and began to loo around someone else was in here the day the teller beacuse he saw blood stains that wouldn't come from being so in the front. He knew that beacuse he had shot enough people to know how it went. The body may not have been here but it hadn't been cleaned up.

Hayden noticed they were going on a different bike this time. "How many bikes do you have?" She asked but got on anyway. But she didn't know which bank they were going to until he finally stopped. The police were still there trying to find evidence but found nothing.
She followed Allyster and was a little impressed as he knocked out a guard. If Allyster wasn't a detective, he would have made an excellent thief though Hayden decided to keep the thought to herself. She followed him behind the counter but stopped. All along the counter were pictures of Mr. Talbot and his family. Two girls and two boys. Hayden wasn't even paying attention to whatever Allyster was doing.
"I'm going to go wait outside," she told him in almost a whisper. Hayden walked outside. She couldn't stand being in that bank anymore. Not to mention, she had bigger things to worry about. How to steal something while Allyster was asleep, how not to get caught and, more importantly, how not to get killed while doing so.

Allyster laughed "20..most are in the shop beacuse of crash's." he said. He continued and found a foot print. He smiled and look a picture and found the bullet. He smiled "Silenced 22 millimeter pistol." he said. He looked round and went to the desk. He shook his head he wouldn't question them at all beacuse of danger. He looked under the desk and found a dropped note.
He walked out reading "Huh..Looks like the teller made an enemy." he said. He folded it up and looked at her " Well...come on..I have someone I need to see." he said. He was talking about an inside source for the mob. He knew this guy well and could tell him almost anything and he made sure they never found out about him.
He got back on the bike and waited for her and drove downtown. The place they ended was dark and smelled horrible but no one really cared. He smiled and drew his gun and got off bolting towards the ally.

Hayden had this odd feeling of her being watched but, as she looked around, she saw no one. Allyster finally came back out and it was time to leave. Hayden didn't need telling twice. The sooner they were far away from the bank, the better.
Allyster drove all the way downtown. She knew this area. It was the home of many Mafia members. People she had sold things to. She had their respect and she knew never to cross a mafia member. Though, these days things were slowly changing. An innocent man was killed right before her eyes.
Allyster pulled out his gun and hid in the alley way as if he was trying to sneak up on someone. "You're unbelievable," she whispered, afraid someone dangerous would actually hear them. Hayden leaned against the wall, not really caring to duck and waited for him to make his move.

Allyster smiled and rushed up to a door and kicked the door into a building. He kicked open the door and looked at the short little man playing games in the living living room. He smiled "Ohhhh Humphrey!" he said and them an started to run. Humprey tried to run up stairs but Allyster followed "Oh don't run!" he said. He backed him into a corner in his room "Listen man...I need some info." he said.
Allyster watched Humphrey look to Hayden but he turned his head "No look at me!" he said and smiled "Listen." he said and gave him the picture "I need to know if you know a man with the name of Fred." he said.
Humphrey nodded "Yes...he is the Mafia's top assassin beside his partner." he said and looked at him "He-He lives on 5th street." he said. Allyster pushed him back and smiled 'Good." he said and went outside ot his motor cycle. He wondered if Hayden knew Humphrey. He ignored the thought and took of when Hayden got on.

Allyster kicked open the door. Hayden just walked in as if she was bored. She followed Allyster upstairs and realized who he was questioning. Humphrey. He was a man she was well aware of and knew. Hayden walked into the room and looked at the man. Humphrey looked over at her and Hayden shook her head as if to tell him not to say anything.
Hayden knew Humphrey from the Black Market. She had even done business with him a time or two. Not saying much but he knew her secret. One word and her reputation would be ruined. Everything she had worked for would be gone.
Humphrey returned his gaze back to Allyster and answered his question. Allyster walked downstairs and the man smiled evilly at Hayden. She didn't like this one bit. Hayden ran after Allyster and got back on the bike. Wherever they were going, Hayden knew it wouldn't be good.

Allyster drove until he reached the right location. He cracked his neck. He looked at her "Stay...here..do not go near the house...even if you hear screaming alright..." he yawned and handed her the keys. He went over and knocked on the door. He knew this guy. He had been in jail several times thanks to him. He knocked on the door and when it opened he went in.
Allyster sat down and looked at the man named Alfred. He shook his head as Alfred gave him something to drink. Allyster looked at him "Last I heard you were chasing after the night mistress..what are you doing here?" Alfred asked Allyster. Allyster looked up at him " The murder a few days ago." he said.
Allyster stood by the door and looked at him " I have put you away many times for murder...and a bystander told me you were hired.." he said "Now I won't arrest you but..I do have to arrest yuor boss..I understand several people have been hit." he said "And a few more have been given the green light." he said.
He sighed "You help me...I keep you out of jail." he said and smiled. Alfred nodded and pulled out some paper. As Allyster turned around to look at the others who came in running. The man gave him the paper. As Allyster tried to leave a shot flew by him.
He drew his gun and shot behind him hitting them an in the foot as he fell and landed on the table.Shoots could be heard in the building and for thirty minutes there was silence. He walked out covered in blood but didn't seem to be in pain. Though several shots were placed in his arms and legs and his side he didn't care.
He walked to the motorcycle and got on and drove home. He put the paper on the table. He did this beacuse Hayden was in trouble and if he stopped it he could be done with the job. He sat on the couch and sighed closing his eyes even as he bled.
