Morganna's Tower

"What just happened?" Eli asked, looking at Alice confused.

Alice jerked her head up at Morganna who was now flying back to her tower, rubbing a tear away "Are you sure your love won't be repulsed by your new form?" she called in a grim, angered tone. "Face it, you're a blood sucker like me now. That Princess fell in love with a woman, not a monster!" she snapped at Morganna.

Morganna was covering up Nevaeh with a black silk sheet when her brother flew up to the window. Without turning around she choked out, "What Eli?" Tears ran down her face from Alice's comment.

"Why did you do all of this? And why do you choose now to leave Alice alone?" he asked.

Morganna spun around and began to shout, "I didn't chose to become a monster! I was trying to save that poor girl's life!" She pointed to the shape under the sheet. "It's my fault she died, I tried to suck the curse out of her hoping that it wasn't too late!"

She slumped down onto the cold stone floor, "I'm tired Eli," she said sobbing into her hands, "Alice is right, Isabella would never love me like this."

After a moment of silence that followed Morganna's speech, Alice crawled over to Alaster, shaking his limp body by the shoulder "Wake up." she demanded through her emotional tone.

He slumped right down next to her and put his arm on her shoulder. "Isabella will always love you," Eli said.
"How do you plan on saving her?"

Alice gave up after a minute of trying to wake Alaster, simply setting his head in her lap and watching for crows. It was a small moment of justice, having Morganna in a mood of agony over Alice's words. "I didn't choose to be one either, but we must live with the consequences.." she whispered.

Morganna was silent for a moment, "I'm giving up, maybe it's better for her to be sleeping for eternity. She has practically no family left, thanks to our father. She may acctually hate me. I couldn't live with that..."

She could still try what Rin had mentioned to her earlier, but she kept her promise to Rin not to let anyone know they were talking. But then again, like she said, Isabella was probally better off.

She suddenly grabbed ahold of her brother, she hugged him tightly and sobbed into his shoulder.

He hugged her back and it brought back a lot of memories.
"You can't give up on her," he said, tears almost filling his eyes.

((its like a Spanish soap opera crying ))

((I know!!!! I'm getting all emotional!!!! crying Darn me for getting so into character! I blame all the meds I'm on! ))

"I just have to think things through for a while." She pulled away and looked down at her hands in her lap, "I have a lot of burned bridges to mend..."
