"Better than being a wet RiverClan cat..." Pinepaw muttered under her breath as she padded after her mentor, keeping her mouth opened as she scented for prey.

Nightshade held his mouth open listening to shuffling in the long grass, he inclind his head to the bush ahead where a small black mouse was scuffling around for prey, "remember how to catch a mouse, keep all your weight in your hounches, it will feel you before it hears you" he whispered careful to make his voice as low as possible

Pinepaw went instantly into the hunter's crouch, feeling as natural as breathing, second nature, as she stalked towards the mouse. Her eyes never left the mouse even as she pounced on it, killing it in one blow. Its neck made a satisfying crunch sound as Pinepaw's paw slammed down on it. She gave thanks to StarClan like she always does when she hunts and took the mouse over to her mentor. "How'd I do this time?" She raised one eye brow at him after she had set the mouse down.

Nightshade nodded approvingly, "very good pinepaw" he meowed licking the apprentice between the ears, "now bury it and we will come for it later" he mewed before trotting a little ways away to scout for more prey

Pinepaw jumped at the sound of Darkstar's warning, then at the scent of the dog as its barking came closer. Butting her mentor forward to Darkstar, she asked, "How did it get here?"

Silverfeather opened her eyes and looked out the entance of the nursey. She gave a yawn as she looked at her kits who were almost old enough to become appentices. She licked both kits between the ears to wake them. Spottedkit was the first one awake as she stretched and nugded her brother with her forepaw. "Nightkit! Nightkit! Wake up!" Spottedkit said as she shook her brother. Nightkit slowly got up as he looked at his sister with haterd in his eyes for waking him up. His eyes softened as he rose and looked at his mother. Silverfeather licked Nightkit again, "Go on go play. Just don't get too far from the nursey." They're mother warned and watched them run outside to play.

Moonwhisper stretched as she came back into the nursery to find Silverfeather awake along with her kits. Sitting down she wrapped her tail around her paws, "how long untill their apprenitced?" she asked the queen.
Brightkit followed Spottedkit and NIghtkit outside wanting to play to. Grining she lept upon Nightkit's back claws sheathed she knocked him to the ground.
Thornkit grumbled as he was woken up and silently stretched before padding outside into the bright sunlight. Seeing his sister playing with Spottedkit and Nightkit made him jealous so he quicklly ran after them, he batted at Spottedkit happily.

Silverfeather got to her paws and gave a yawn before answering, "This moon. They grow up so fast" She mrrrowed in amuzement as She looked outside to her kits and smiled watching them play.
Nightkit mewed as he was knocked down for he was still half asleep. He looked at Brightkit and smiled, "Oh no a bagder!" He mewed playfully and pawed at brightkit's stomach pretending to try and get away.
Spottedkit looked to Thornkit and gave a smile, "Should we help defeat this Bagder and be true warriors?" She mewed and batted back at Thornkit.

Blackfeather padded out of her den and looked over the clan with Curious eyes. She lowed her glaze to the kits outside the nursey playing then to the other cats talking. She sat down and put her tail neatly infornt of her paws. Blackfeather looked up at the sky and watched the clouds float by as she felt the wind blow though her black fur. Everything seemed so peaceful and Calm, No messages from starclan had come to her though dream or at the Moonstone.
(Question, Are we at the Old Forest or the new one over the moutains?)

((we are in the old forest, the time is set way before the stuff with Firestar and what not)) Moonwhisper nodded, "of coarse they do, but thats the hard part of having kits" she said wistfully watching her kits pretend to be warriors.Brightkit laughed and crouched low to the ground, "im a mighty badger,hear me roar!" she yowled leaping at Spottedkit.Thornkit grinned wildly and leaped at his sister, knocking her nad Spottedkit down.
