i dont like V.day at all it's just an excuse for couples to make ppl who are single feel bad about themselves plus it's just another marketing ploy

Well, this is the first Valentines Day that I actually have someone to spend it with. It is a marketing tool, but it is based off a real event where Saint Valentine sent letters to the ones he loved, on the date of his exucution. (At least I think that is what happened)

Well don't think of Valentine's Day as something negative, Wolfion. Instead of being bitter give Valentines to your friends to show that they are special at least to you. That's what I'm gonna do.

I think its dumb. I'm not sayin that just because I've spent 90% of valentines days single but just because it should be a holiday that you can get off work and school and spend it with your loved one but because no one wants to be at work and possibly have a bad day due to someone else's ignorance, BUT not everyone has someone so its not (which is probably best if its not a holiday). Yet there is soooo much advertising for it and you see all the stores with tons of valintines stuff and specials. So I deffinately think its just a marketing thing and that is why I dont like it. Hell I dont even realize it untill the day after when someone says " how was your valintines day?" lol
