Death Note is pretty cool if you like a story that's darker in tone and if you like epic battles of wit and vigilante justice.

There just aren't many good anime's out right now if you ask me. I have quite a few but I haven't picked up a new one in a very long time.

Purple: As for Elfen Lied I heard it was a really good series I personally thought it looked a bit...freaky but hey I've got a few that are like that and they were really good. As for their being different versions...I don't think so but not sure I haven't seen the series I've only seen previews and I think one episode but it's been awhile.

You know there is one anime that Dude would like then it had to deal around Elves...cause these guys like had to strip them or something to look for a mark but can't remember the title now. sweatdrop

The girls in Lucky stars are NOT half naked.
It's more about ordinary life then any other anime on my "Like List"
But it still amuses me because one of the girls has a personality like mine.
FOR EX: She likes hentai games, and is extremely lazy and won't expend energy
---unless it's for her obssession with anime or video games.
---even refuses to join any after school activities because it'll conflict with her
---anime watching time everyday

And yeah, I've never seen "Elfen Lied"
But I have seen the similarly named "Elfen Laid" hentai
(and I keep getting their titles mixed up) ^^;

And even if there are no good anime's being released NOW,
doesn't mean that you can't hunt down older anime's that have been out for a while.
If the older ones are better, then you should look for them ^.^
