Lance gratefully took it and stood up. "Thanks," he said, still a little red. "Oh! Stupid me, I never introduced myself! I'm Lance Callen." he said politely, bowing to the both of them.

Lance blushed and looked away. He hardly knew this girl. He'd hardly known anyone this well in middle school.

"Wait...why do I have to go to your dorm for you to put clothes on?" he asked confused, but instinctively following. He was used to listening to what others said to him, and for that had been pushed around a lot in school.

Sky Walked Up To the school a little shyly worried she might not fit in , her lightly blue dress fluttered a biit and she started to continue to walk up into the school yard.

Fenix stepped through the large, ornate gates that housed Youkai Academy. Peering up at the school, it glittered softly in the bright sunlight. The trees all around him were leafless, and students were already filling into the large building. Breathing an unenthusiastic sigh, he re-shouldered his backpack. Feeling some weight in the bag, Fenix peered inside and saw the note and the small wad of cash his father had left him. Fenix promptly took the cash and pocketed it, and crushed the note in his hand. A dark purple, smoke-like substance emanated from under his fingers, curling in the air above his hand. When he opened his hand, the note was nothing more than a few crumpled ashes. Letting the wind carry off the ashes from his palm, Fenix smirked to himself, stepping forward. He was stopped short by a blast from a whistle.
"Hey!" yelled a voice. "Thats against the school rules!" Said a young man, running up to him. "Name and class?" He demanded.
Fenix looked around at him. Sizing him up, he figured he could have blasted his pitiful soul straight into the Underworld. His hand twitched, and he readied his powers. Sadly enough, he felt no strength gather in his palm. Realizing his father had taken away the jist of his powers, Fenix snarled to himself and put his hand back down to his side. "Fenix." He spat, looking away from the kid and his clipboard. "And I don't know yet." He finished, referring to his class number.
"Ohhh," Said the kid, putting his clipboard down at his side. "You're new. Well I guess we can overlook this incident just this once." He nodded to himself, proud of himself for pardoning a student. To him, this job was more important than anything else. "Make sure you go to the office and get the information you need to begin your year here at Youkai Academy." He said, spotting another school infraction. He began to run off towards the two student's fighting. "And welcome!!" He shouted over his shoulder.
Fenix watched him run off to go deal with the other students, then turned his attention back to the school. Walking up the steps and through the doors, he headed for the main office to get the information he needed.

Fenix returned to the courtyard, strolling slowly around looking for something to do. As he walked along, he spotted the kid that had stopped him earlier that day in this very area. Remebering he no longer possesed the power to blow a rather large hole in the courtyard ground, Fenix felt suddenly quite depressed.
Plopping heavily on a nearby bench, Fenix put his chin in his palm and watched the students walk around, making friends, holding hands, and generally doing the things humans do. Fenix frowned, chewing on the side of his bottom lip as he thought to himself.

Fenix sat still on the bench, looking around lazily. For one reason or another, Fenix froze. He stopped chewing on his lip, and all together turned his head around, looking behind him. He felt a power spike, but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Looking up, he saw for a split second a figure speeding towards his upturned face.
The next thing he knew, he was on the ground, chewing on the concrete. He groaned, trying to pull himself off the ground. Feeling a weight on him, Fenix slowly began to remember that there was a person above him before he was on the ground.
"Please get off me.." He groaned again, too hurt to be angry at this second.

She looked down "Oh my god!" gets off him "I'm so sorry!! Are you ok!?'

As she got off of him, Fenix gasped, breathing in the sweet sweet air he was deprived of just a second ago. Fenix pushed himself off the ground slowly, sitting back against the bench with his eyes closed. He breathed deep a couple times; something he had picked up in one of his books about calming one's self down. It was helping, but barely.
Opening his eyes, he looked up into a pair of blue eyes. The next thing he noticed was the long flowing blonde hair. For a second, Fenix forgot he was angry, and also how to speak. After that second passed, Fenix went back to looking bothered.
"Yea.." He muttered. "I'm fine." He rubbed his ribs and cracked his neck. Standing, he cracked his back, grunting. As a loud C-crack-k!! sounded from his spine, Fenix sighed. "Now i'm better." He said. Looking around at the girl, he looked up in the sky, then back to her. "Witch?" He asked pointedly.

She sighed in relief " I'm really sorry" looking at him making sure he is ok "No I wish though." She laughed.
