[LIBRARY] Disaster in the Library [ Finished! pg.5! ]

Foot still throbbing and painful, LW glared at the offending object. Then flicked her eyes around above her to watch for anymore terrors on wings. Satisfied there weren't any book bats coming at her, LW scowled at the bookcase yet again before attempting to lift it one last time before moving to another one. Because clearly, this one was heavier than the rest! Or so she would keep telling herself.

OH JACKING HELL! This time there was a strangled noise pulled out of her as her foot was smashed again! Her narrowed violet eyes glared daggers at the book bat that had just dive bombed her again....or at least she thought it was the same one. Maybe it was a different one. No matter! The little devils had struck twice and her foot was numb and probably going to have a massive bruise. Over the entire foot. And no there was not water forming around her eyes! Just...dust.

That was definitely the last she was dealing with that bookcase.

There it was. The litter bug that had kicked the magazine in her face. Correction, DIRTY MAG in her face. It was just Tahki and the bug now. The gryphon tilted her hat forward and gave the bug an eerie smile.

But the dirty magazine bug made its escape again aided by another attacking book bat. WHAT!? Tahki tried to shoo it away but by the time it did leave her alone, the bug was gone.

Tahki fell to her knees in disbelief. SO CLOSE.

Frustrated, Bea skipped over a pile of books and grabbed a really thick book to throw at the litter-bug. "Jacking BUG!" Bea screamed as she chucked the fat book at it.

The book-bats seemed to have responded to Bea's screaming. It turned back and lunged at her, flying around and causing more of a ruckus. "AHHHH~!" Bea shrieked. She didn't seem to grasp that more movement means more scared book-bats. Bea began to cover her head, making sure they wouldn't get caught in her hair and ran off further into the darkness without looking where she was going.

When Bea opened her eyes again, she almost ran right into a wall. Bea crouched down and felt her hair to make sure nothing was caught in it. Lucky for her, the book-bats left her alone... for now...

Just then, that damn litter-bug appeared again. Bea could have sworn it was taunting her with how the way it just stood there, only mere feet away from her. Bea's eyes glared at that bug intensely. She slowly picked up a small sized book and crawled as carefully and quietly as she could.

BAM!

Bea slammed the book as hard as she could above that jacking bug and she was sucessful of knocking it out... well... maybe it might have done more damage to the bug if anything... Bea didn't want to lift the book to find out. She left the book there for someone else to pick up.

Amphi watched Avery carefully with shielded eyes. He sure did get angry for a Land walker before smiling as he answered her question. "Alright then I'll wait till-" She began to say before the other Librarian appeared, blushing as he referred to just how many ghouls were around.

She didn't get to say much else as Avery tensed and then all hell broke loose. Bugs we're everywhere! She looked at one that happened near them and squeaked. "It's so cute! Do we really have to kill them?" She looked at them more and clapped her hands.

Sadly though, she knew the answer and picked up a book to....do nothing! The litter bug had heard her comment about how cute it was before smirking. (do bugs smirk?) and picked up a book of its own, throwing it page opened at Amphi. She stuttered as she looked at the pages of a nude model and blushed, what was this that the Bug was trying to tell her? She threw the magazine as far as she could before glaring at the bugs. "That was uncalled for Mr. Cutie Bug!" She said, stomping her foot. Now it was time to hurt someone, even if she was against violence.

OhJack did her foot hurt right now. And could anyone blame her too much for the small limp she had moving on to scowl at bookcase number two in her path? Curling her toes hurt. Standing on her foot hurt. Jack damned thinking about it made it hurt! So with irritation and a silent dare for any of those flying devils to try and dive bomb her again, LW gave this another attempt. Why? Because she was on a stubborn streak. And felt offended by these over grown piles of wood.

She glanced up and over her shoulder when she heard Israfel, managing to give him a small forced smile and a wave that was supposed to mean 'I totally got this, it's alright!' but probably just looked like an 'omfg I hate bookcases' jab at the air. "I-I'll do my best!" LW called back, voice a little higher than she wanted it.

It was awkward grabbing a hold of this second bookcase while trying to plant her feet firmly. She ended up putting most of her weight on the non-injured foot before giving a mighty heave. The bookcase moved and she felt a moment of triumph at having successfully lifted the bookcase to move and use as a barrier...except in that moment of triumph, her foot gave and her hands slipped a little. The bookcase started to teeter her way and LW was already cursing expecting it to smash some other part of her body when it was stopped.

.....what? Glancing up and around, trying to blink through the throbbing that was a constant reminder of her foot being smashed twice, LW spotted someone else holding the bookcase and giving her an extra hand, it seemed. Avery. Well, at least he was doing something other than sit and watch them all make idiots of themselves, right?

Amphi watched for the bug, it seemed to take a liking to her and tried to coo it over to her so that she could knock it out. Or stuff it somewhere to take to her dorm room later so she could keep it as a pet.

As soon as it got close though, it gave another smirk and kicked the same magazine back in her face, this time to a different page. Amphi looked at the spread in the book before blushing from head to toe, causing the bug to roll around in fits of laughter.

What the devil is this thing doing! Amphi glared at it, losing patience with the bug.

Amphi smiled evilly, a new light taking over her flushed embarrassed face as she stared at the laughing bug. It was her turn to get it back. She grinned as she came near to it, using the magazine it had dropped on her twice and rolled it up.

"Stupid bug." She towered over it before slapping it with the magazine. There was a large bump on its head as it was knocked unconscious from her hit. Satisfied she turned to look for another one.

Amphi turned to face the next bug and cringed. It looks like the twin to the one she just had caughten. It smirked at her in the same way. She had a bad feelings as the bug cocked its head at her in a creepy way before holding up a magazine.

"No...." Amphi blushed as she looked at it, it couldn't be, "Not you too!" She gasped as the bug threw it at her, it fell slow motion on to her face, on another nude spread. She dropped the magazine and started to cry a little.

"My innocence...." She said as she glared at the bug, who was laughing at her.

Just how many dirty magazines could the damn bugs throw at her. She had seen more action in this library for her mermaid life then she had the whole time she had been at the academy, or in the sea! What the devil was this? Burn Amphi's eyes with naked pictures of the Halloween models?

Just as she thought that, another magazine flew in her face. Her face was too red at this point to deepen and instead she went into rage mode. "I AM GOING TO KILL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU LITTLE BASTARDS RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!" She had lost it, it was totally out of character but, there was too much blood rushing to her head, she had seen more naked boils and ghouls then she wanted and she was losing patience with the bug who was just smirking at her. Pointing at it, she brought her thumb to cut over her throat. "Your going to die Mr. Bug!"

It was so dark. As Bea tried navigating back to her group, she felt something tickling her leg. "EEAUUUUGH!" Bea screamed again and tried kicking the litter-bug off her leg. No matter how hard she kept kicking, she couldn't get it off. Little buggers must have been trying to get on Bea's nerves.

Bea grabbed the closest book she could find and began to smack it against her leg in attempts to hit the litter-bug.

SMACK!

The litter-bug fell to the ground. Bea huffed and puffed as she stared at the unconscious bug on the floor, "serves you right!"

Bea managed to get back to her group who were still trying to get the bugs.

In her rage moment, Amphi didn't realize that the books she had flipped over and sent flying around had actually landed on the bug that had tormented her. Huffing a breath out, she looked at her catch before dragging them back over to their group and plopping them on the ground in front of everyone.

These were her damn trophies and they were going home with her, after all they took her innocence away, IT WAS A JUST REWARD.

"I'm Done." Was all she said.
