Jade looked at him and smiled. She was appreciative of this little slice of heaven they were in. When he mentioned teleportation she kind of choked up. She was going to deny it until he said something that took her off guard. He had an ability? When he explained his she was kind of relieved.
Gulping down the rest of her orange juice she positioned herself to look at him in the eyes. He seemed sincere enough, or maybe he was just stupid revealing his abilities but she finally spoke. "So you controlled me to come here?!?!" she exclaimed before backing up. She couldn't hold in her laugh as she looked at him. "I'm just joking...that's a unique gift...honestly I've only met two other people that had abilities as well. Well yea I an teleport...but I can also do this as well" she said to him as she extended her hands as lights sparkled around them. "I read somewhere that visibility or what a person sees is based of light but I don't think I could pull of illusions or things like that" she said frankly. She then got her plate and glass and headed for the sink.
She turned on the water as she looked over to Cap and smirked. She would reveal her last ability. The water then began to curve upwards around the plate and glass as a thick bubble formed around the. "I'm a hydro-kinetic as well" she said sheepishly. She didn't know why she felt so comfortable with him...but she did...

Cap rolled his eyes at Jade's "joke" it was kind of funny, and he would've laughed if nearly the same words hadn't been said almost word for word by his girlfriend. He watched and his smile returned as Jade showed him her other abilities. The control of light, and the control of water. "Very cool, I must say," he said with a wide smile on his face. Still smiling he spoke, "Well I suppose it's only fair that you know my other two abilities huh? The first is easier to explain than show. My overall agility is much higher than a normal Hume's, I can move faster, act quicker, jump higher, all that jazz. The other, is easier to show you." Cap held out his hand, palm up, and snapped his fingers. A ball of flame about the size of a softball appeared in his open palm, floating an inch above his skin. "Pyrokinesis, along with the ability to create fire. although I can only go fireballs and the like, I can't do firestorms and things like that yet." He snapped his fingers again and the fireball disappeared. Cap smiled at her, it was only the second time he had shown someone all of his abilities, and the first didn't turn out as well as this was. He was glad Jade didn't freak out and run away for some reason. Despite knowing her for only a short time, he felt relaxed around her for some reason, and he was completely unsure why.

Jade looked at Cap in amazement. "That's quite an aresenal you have there, no wonder you were in the military, honing what you have and utilizing it" she said just guessing. The bubble burst and she caught the plate and glass and set it down. She looked at him with a smile. "I'm sure with much more practice we can both excel with these gifts...I just wish Empire would realize these are gifts and not things to be exploited or exterminated" she said to him.
She looked at the clock and noticed it was pretty late. "This was fun...guess I'll see you in the morning" she told him with a smirk as she walked down the hallway to his bedroom, dim lights lit up on the floor as she made it to his room. She looked at his room it was nicely furnished, the bed was a great size as she jumped into it. It felt like she was living on a cloud as she inhaled deeply, turning around she gave thoughts to today as she was sure to log what she thought today. Her eyes closed and she was now sleep.

Cap chuckled at her comment about him being in the military. It was a good idea, but Cap had only used his increased agility and minor pyrokinesis in situations that called for it. He mostly honed his skills through his bodyguard work. He agreed with what she said about their gifts, he wished the Empire would see things for the way they really were, but he doubted it would happen without an entire governmental overhaul, which was unlikely to say the least. He smiled and replied, "Yeah it was... Been a while since I've had someone to actually talk to. See you in the morning." He watched her head to his bedroom and he finished his drink, throwing the bottle away before heading to the bathroom; he had grabbed some of his clothes and set them aside so he could shower before going to sleep. He quickly showered and didn't bother drying his hair as he headed back to the living room and said, "Lights off, music off. Ambience set: sleep." The lights and music shut off and the temperature control put the temperature and humidity at the perfect level for sleeping. Cap closed his eyes and logged the events of the day, before falling asleep completely.

((NEW DAY!!!!)) Jade had slept like a baby, the bed felt more like a heaven on Earth than anything. The light from the outside shined through the window as it caressed her face, her eyes began to open. Her vision a little blurry she looked upwards and inhaled deeply. She then sat up as she recollected her thoughts. So last night wasn't a dream??? Was Cap still sleep?
She got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom as she would get herself ready for the day. She brushed her teeth and washed her face and even had time to wash her clothes from the night before. She soon showered and changed into her clothes and tied her hair back in a ponytail. Perhaps she could make some food for Cap since he was a gracious host and all.
Teleporting into the kitchen she looked at the display screen on the wall. "Sausage, eggs, biscuits, bacon....fresh fruit...and cranberry juice" she said quietly to herself. The machines began to process as a plate materialized under the station she was at. The aroma filled the room as she played some music that would help wake Cap up in a peaceful mood. Turning it to low she awaited for the young man to awaken."So you're a fox hume?!?!? And you've been impersonating a hume this whole time?" a dark female voice could be heard. It was that of Calisto...a young brunette who seemed more cynical and ma nine than sane. Looking at him she smirked. "You know I could turn you in right now and gain a heavy profit..." she said trailing off. "But I'm not a b***h...I have a simple proposal...you do everything I say...and we can get your sister back for you and you two can reunited" she told him with a smirk. "What do you say Ivan?" she asked him crossing her legs.

Ivan's hands went to his throat as she held up the necklace he had taken from his mother when they had been killed, s**t! he thought knowing that she now probably knew his life story if she had gotten that simply from touching the trinket, he had heard of her ability before, slowly he stepped back, running into the wall cause he had forgotten the reason he was still not running from her.
I shouldn't have panicked he thought as his heart raced and she preached her proposition, currently thought he felt too much like a trapped animal to think about her offer clearly, all that ran through his head was run.
without saying a word he breathed heavily as he dodged to the left and made a break for it while she had supplied him enough room to flee, leaving mothers trinket behind would be a small price to pay for fleeing the hume authority again he thought hoping the running would work as it had done the last dozen times he had managed when ever he was found out.

Calisto looked at Ivan...he was nervous, it was like an order that stunk the whole room up. She ran her fingers through her long black hair as she noticed his behavior. She was a thinker, a strategizer. As he ran she closed her eyes as she stood up. They were in The Old City as she stepped out of the building they were in.
The architecture of The Old City was basically stacked on top of each other and they were feet in the air, so he wouldn't be stupid enough to jump. She then began to chase after him as the wind blew into her hair. He would regret the day of trying to ditch her. Leaping off a ledge, she grabbed a chord and swung from it as she inhaled deeply and released a poisonous gas near Ivan. Calisto was never one to toy around with people when it came to her line of work.
The events from last night were still playing in her head as well...her boss had called her in, and apparently a mild altercation happened while Purge officials were doing their job. She would investigate later. As the poisonous gas filled the area, she threw a dagger for him at a speedy rate.

Cap slept rather well; he was used to sleeping on couches and for short periods of time. But this was a refreshing long sleep, one he hadn't had the pleasure of having in a while. He couldn't sleep forever though, and he awoke to the scent of breakfast in the kitchen and music in his ears. Cap quickly sat up, looking around. He had forgotten about Jade for a moment. Shaking his head when he remembered he laid back and sighed before swinging his feet off the couch and standing up. He yawned lightly and headed to the bathroom, where he shaved and brushed is teeth before heading out into the living room once again, taking a deep breath and saying, "Something smells good." He stretched his arms above his head and headed into the kitchen, opening the fridge and grabbing a bottle of icy cold water. He took a drink from it and it immediately woke him up. Shaking his head he smiled at Jade who was still getting breakfast and said, "Enjoy, those things make great breakfast. Lunch they're only okay on, and I prefer to make my own dinner." He was joking, the machines were designed to make the "perfect" meal based on the user's commands, and they were generally good at their functions.

Jade looked at Cap as he walked into the kitchen. She smiled as she handed him his plate. "Well I'm not used to it" she said smiling slightly. "I'm so used to cooking on a piece of crap stove...this was nice" she said to him as she looked out of a window admiring the view of New Haven in the distance. She sighed, knowing this wouldn't last and she would be back downtown dancing another night at work.
"What's on your agenda today Mr. Bodyguard??? I'll have to be leaving soon...it's a long way back to The Post...and then from The Post to Downtown...it'll damn near take me all day to get to work" she said with a sigh and disheartened laugh. Turning around she began to eat at her plate waiting for a response from Cap. Maybe it was fate that caused them to meet last night...but she doubted a relationship of any kind would flourish from last night, so spending the last few hours together wouldn't hurt...after then she may not ever see him again.

Ivan had foolishly thought he had an advantage over the woman as he used his foxish abilities to nimbly work wriggle his way thought the city's structure, but it was apparent she knew much more about this place than he did as he noticed the foul smell in the air, coughing he stumbled as the poison filled the air and he tried his best to freeze the toxins around him with his own ability.
Absorbed he didn't notice the knife however till the sharp pain pierced his side and he lost concentration on clearing the air, causing more of her poison gas to reach his air way as he let out a shout. More coughing ensued as his hands went to his side and he fell to his knees don't remove the blade... he thought fighting through the pain to cover his mouth with his hands again and he struggled to continue running, managing a stumbled sprint before trying to find the edge of her cloud. he needed to get away.

Calisto looked as Ivan was struck in the side. She honestly thought the boy would have more fight in him than he did. The poison soon diminished as it was a light one at that. Letting go off the chord she landed on the walk way and stalked him like a predator. She then ran performing an ariel flip above him and landed in front of him. "You run?!?!? How about you fight me like a man?" she asked him as she threw several punches and a few kicks as well, ending it with an attempted axe kick to his head. If he blocked or countered anything she would be highly impressed....regardless, she knew how this would end.

cap took his plate from Jade with a smile and replied, "Yeah, well, I know what it's like too have to cook with nothing but some sheet metal and a lighter. I'll tell you, not fun at all. So yeah, I agree with you, it is nice." He chuckled lightly and sat down on one of the bar stools, taking a bite out of his food and downing it with a sip from his bottle of water. He noticed her taking in the view from out the window, and his smile faded slightly; this was the first time she had ever seen this sort of thing and now she had to leave soon; he knew what that was like. He smiled at her and noted her disheartened chuckle, before saying, "I've got nothing planned. I finished up a job yesterday, and I don't have anything booked, so I guess I'm free for a while..." Cap thought for a few moments, wondering what he should do today; he wasn't one to just sit idly by and do nothing, so he had to get out of the house and do something. "Maybe I could... Nah, I doubt she'd want me tagging along. But still..." He couldn't help but thinking he wanted to accompany Jade for just a bit longer. It was nice to have some companionship, and he wasn't sure he wanted to let it go so quickly. He simply ate his food in silence after that, thinking about it.

Jade listened to him as she continued to eat. There was a tension in the air but nothing that was hostile...just uneasy. When he said he was "free for a while" she wanted to invite him with her but she didn't know this man at all...and he didn't know he. She looked up at him, it seemed that he had something on his mind. She wouldn't pry...if he wanted to tell her...she was sure he would. Finishing off her cranberry juice she yawned a little. "Ugh I hate to leave such a nice place like this...makes everything else in Empire seem like a piece of s**t" she said with a blushing smile. Hopefully he would want to at least escort her back to the rail system....but if he didn't it was fun while it lasted.

Of course Ivan saw this coming, wounded like he was and with her knowledge of the territory she was bound to catch up with him sooner than later, although it was rather shameful how quickly she had caught up to him, he managed to take two if the strikes by hand and block one of her kicks, but the axe strike to the head sent him to the ground and he coughed up blood as he tried his best to get back up again, "this is precisely why i don't strike back" he wheezed and slowly got up, distracting Calisto with his movement as he actually drew one of his hunting knives and suddenly threw it at her, hoping to give himself enough time to draw his 45.

Cap looked up at Jade, shaken from his thoughts when she spoke. He smiled and said, "Well, it is a very nice place, but in my experience, a place doesn't have to be really nice. It can be a piece of s**t, but it'll still be called 'home' by someone." Cap finished his food rather quickly, as he tended to keep his meals short. He took a final sip from his bottle of water and said, "Hey Jade, I was wondering... Since those purge agents followed you from the club... doesn't that mean they know where you work?" Cap said this rather out of the blue, and it wasn't really what he wanted to ask, but he might be able to if he continued along this train of thought. He picked up his plate and set it in the sink, tossing the bottle away and turning back to Jade. Cap paused for a moment then continued, "If they know where you work, they'd most likely be after you again, so... I was thinking... You might need a bodyguard." Cap smiled lightly as he looked at Jade, his smile showing he wasn't just asking for a job. He genuinely wanted to help her. If she said no, he'd just leave it at that and escort her to the rail system, and maybe check up on her from time to time.
