 Reginer Audo Reginer finally stopped running and spent a few good minutes at the fountain before he sat down to catch his breath but he seemed happy however went into a violent coughing fit which he assumed was beacuse he swallowed some spit on accident. He didn't notice the blood on his hand at all as he leaned back and took a few moments to breath before he stood up and started to walk home as time went by. He was thinking of something to do but there wasn't much. He yawned reaching the neighbor hood where he lived where he stopped to walk to his neighbors for a bit and most people might be bored doing this but he considered this fun but not as fun as school which was odd enough.

 Melanie | Jane | CrossNo matter what it takes,
I'll find a way to save you Melanie had watched him as he went into a coughing fit. Though he may have not noticed the blood that had found his way onto his hand, Melanie had and it worried her slightly. When he'd stopped into to talk to some of his neighbors for a bit, Melanie changed into her human form once more and walked along the sidewalk, opposite of where Reginer was at. She didn't know if she intended to talk him or not yet which is why she was walking away from him, though she was very much attuned to him incase something were to happen to him.
The same dog started barking at her that had done so the other day and she frowned at it slightly. She knew it wasn't agressive to anyone else because she'd seen it on occasion around other strangers and it was just find. While Melanie usually harboured a soft spot for animals, but this particular one she think she disliked as much as it didn't like her. "Oh, hush," she told it after a while, shaking her head and walking away from it till she reached a tree and climbed into one of the lower branches and sat there, simply relaxing for the time being.

Reginer Audo Reginer stopped talking to his neighbor and listened as the dog barked. He ran over and hopped over the fence that kept it which his neighbor didn't mind him doing one bit. He putted the dog " Hey there boy what the matter?" he asked talking like he was speaking to a baby. The dog stopped barking at her and barked playfully at him as he hopped back over the fence. He sighed and walked over to the tree but he noticed someone in it and looked up. It was the girl from yesterday. He smiled and climbed up and yelled in her ear " Hello there!" just to see if she'd jump or fall out of the tree but it was safe. He looked at her " What are you doing here...you have some friends here or something?" he asked her crossing his arms and leaning back on another branch but not putting down to much weight otherwise the branch would break.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie's gaze followed Reginer as he hopped the fence to calm the barking dog. It didn't take him long to complete the task and Mel shook her head as she watched him, amazed at how quickly the dog would calm down for him. Melanie returned his smile with one of her own and, even though she knew fully well that he was there, she didn't expect him to shout in her ear and started slightly despite herself, causing her to grip the branch tighter so that she would fall. Once she'd regained her balance, she poked her tongue out at him. "Mean," she muttered playfully as she relaxed once more. "Other then you? I don't think so," she said with a shake of her head realizing, belatedly, that she wasn't supposed to know where he lived, he'd never told her such a things yet. She hoped that he'd look over her little slip-up, but incase he'd caught it, a part of her mind started thinking of a reasonable explanation.
Melanie scrambled for some other topic that she could change the conversation to without it being too obvious. "Were you running or something?" she asked him, glancing up and down at him noticing that he showed the signs of someone who'd ran recently, she didn't think it would be such an odd subject shift. "I think that any day you want a running partner, you've got one," she said, pointing to the dog behind the fence who still kept his attention on Reginer.

Reginer Audo Reginer smiled " Yeah he'll be a good running partner ." he said " He's so full of life for his age." he said and laughed " Wait a minute so why did you come here and sit in this tree....were you looking for me/" he asked and looked around " I never told you where I lived." he said and shrugged with a smile " No matter, how are you?" he asked her. I'll find a way to save you Melanie smiled and looked over at the dog who gave a little growl when she looked at her. "I don't think," she said with a slight frown. "That he likes me much," she said before she laughed a little and brought her blue gaze back to him that grew worried when he'd found the fault in what she'd said. Her gaze soon cleared when she thought of an excuse and she laughed a little. "Don't flatter yourself Mr. Audo, I was simply getting to know my new town better is all and I happened across you," she teased him with a small laugh as she smiled brightly at him.
"And I'm very fine thank you," she said to him with a small nod. "Getting a little more settled in and starting to know the feel of the town here," she said as she glanced around at the neighborhood for a second before returning her attention to him. Melanie glimpsed the traces of blood that still remained on his hand from his coughing fit and decided that she'd bring it up, just to see what he might say. "Is that blood on your hand?" she asked him, frowning slightly in concern as she looked at it.

Reginer Audo Reginer frowned and look at his hand seeing the dried blood and raised a brow " Yeah....I never noticed that." he said and wiped it off and shrugged ' I must of cut myself or something." he said but he knew that he didn't as he didn't feel any pain. He shrugged " Any way its good you actually decided to get to know the place you'll be able to make some good friend especially here though you obviously have quite a walk ahead of you." he jumped down and looked at her " Come on follow me I can show ya around, are you thirsty maybe you want some water, milk, Koolaid, candy?" he asked her trying to make sure she didn't draw attention to the blood that was on his hand and how ill he actually looked as he had been for awhile. He was only a little while away from the doctors visit and didn't want to keep his mind on it and he smiled " Trust me I'm not as scary as you think just trying to get you settled in." he whistled and started walking.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie could've heard the flat note in his voice and the 'brush off' tone that he'd used even if she really just met him a day ago. It was obvious and she set him a puzzled look to let him know it, too, but she didn't press the subject further. "A little walk never hurt anybody," she said to him with a smile as she jumped down from the branch, landing gracefully on her feet. Maybe too gracefully for someone who was supposed to be human, glancing up at the branch, she saw that it had been a fairly good leap. "Sure?" she answered, her tone slightly questioning though in her uncertainty about eating or drinking anything. She'd never done so before and she found that she was a little wary of doing so. She'd heard other angels would occasionally eat or drink on earth, but it wasn't often that they did since the food didn't always agree with an angels system for some reason.
Melanie laughed slightly and shook her head as she started walking along beside him. "No worries, I didn't even start to think that you were scary. You smile too much for that one," she teased him, poking him lightly in the arm. "I've met some scary people before and trust me, you don't even begin to compare," she said to him, thinking of demons that she occasionally had to confront or kill. Those were about the only things she feared seeing as they were the only things that could kill her. Well, aside from other angels that is but she would've had to do something very bad to deserve that punishement. "However, you've been a huge help to me in the town here. Thank you for that," she said to him after a moment as she glanced around the streets for a second.

Reginer Audo Reginer nodded " Thanks for that!." he said cheerfully as they walked towards his house which wasn't a very long walk. He looked around " I love to help people its always fun as I seem to worry about others more than I would ever worry about myself." he said as they reached his house and he went inside and waited for her before he shut the door. He walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a clean cup before going inside the fridge and grabbing some orange juice he hadn't opened. Reginer was normally pretty healthy and what he ate and drank and did from day to day would often reflect it as he would always exercise back in Germany. He handed the cup to her and sat down taking off shirt but he was wearing a white T-shirt as he didn't want to be that creepy. He took deep breaths " Today's workout was certainly exhausting." he said letting a bit of his German accent slip through. He looked at her " So are you looking forward to school?" he asked " Schools are supposed to be fun around here and you'll be able to make a lot of friends...its certainly where I met many of mine." he added looking right at her. There was something about her eyes that seemed to make sure he couldn't look anywhere else when talking to her and he was obeying that urge no matter how much he tried to look off to the side.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie laughed a little at that one. "Yeah, I can you do and I barely even know you," she said to him with another small laugh. She followed him into his house and glanced around, acting as if she'd never been there before. "Nice place," she murmured as she came to rest her gaze on him once more. She went and sat down at the table in the seat across from him and smiled slightly when he said his workout had been exhausting, though it wasn't so much that he'd said that brought a smile to her lips. It was the fact that his accent slipped through slightly, she'd always liked his accent for some reason. Melanie shrugged at his question. "I'm not sure. First day at a new school is always a little rough," she said to him. "But I'm not someone who dislikes school so, yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I'm just hoping the people around here will be friendly. If there even slightly similiar to you, then I think I won't have too hard of a time," she said to him with a small smile. Melanie noticed Reginer seeming not to be able to take his gaze off of her and she tilted her head slightly in puzzlement. While it wasn't an exactly an uncomfortable stare, Mel didn't understand the reason behind it. "What? Is something wrong?" she asked him, genuinely confused right now. Human traits would puzzle her at times and she was a person that liked to know just what all the pieces meant to her and how to place them.

Reginer Audo Reginer laughed and stretched " Thank you I'm glad I'm so easy to read." he said when she complimented his home. He shrugged " Thats a first actually...most people yuor age tend to despise school and would rather just be out all day with yuor buddies." he was speaking from experience with these people since when he was in highschool he had to deal with it to though he never really complained but others did. When she seemed tto notice his stare he shook his head trying to shake it off " Err...nothing sorry I tend to stare when I tlak to people I meet for the first time." he lied and yes it was painful but he had to as he normally didn't stare it was just her eyes. Her eyes were brighter than most and seemed to pull him in no matter what he did but he understood it was creepy so he looked at the angel's on the table and stared at those.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie considered his comment for a moment before nodding slowly. "I suppose that's true. Like I said though, I get moved around a lot. People all over the place are different, school is pretty much the same everywhere you go. It's something that it constant and comforting to me I guess," she said with a small shrug of her shoulders. While Melanie could sense that he was lying, she couldn't guess the reason behind it and she didn't search inside his mind for the answer. If he wanted to keep the reason to himself, then he was entitled to she believed. "No worries, doesn't bother me too much. I was just starting to think that I had something on my face or something," she joked as she laughed lightly. "You made these, right?" she asked him as she noticed his gaze had fixed itself on the angels. While she knew the answer to that particular question was yes, they showed signs of being hand crafted so she knew it would be construed as strange. "What made you choose to make two angels out of everything else you could've created?" she asked him curiously, interested to know the answer to that one and wondered if there was any reason behind it at all.

Reginer Audo Reginer stared at her for a moment before he laughed and shrugged " Well I don't know." he said " I created these quite some time ago in Germany." he said " I chose to create angels when I read something on the news about two girls, twins I believe." he said and looked at the two and it was easy to see the similarities " It was sad what happened to them one in a shootout and one in a car crash and so I decided to create these two, I would have done a better job but I am kind of an amateur." he said. He shrugged " I once thought about creating a third angel...sort of a guardian angel but it didn't seem like they had one or if they did that angel certainly didn't seem to be looking out for them hard enough." he sighed " But can't really blame them, you can't always keep someone safe no matter who you are, even angels aren't perfect." he said.

I'll find a way to save you Melanie had at first been surprised that out of all the reasons for him creating the two angels that the story of the twins would be the reason behind it. The part of Reginer saying the they either didn't have a guardian angel, or that the angel hadn't been looking over the hard enough hit her hard and sadness filled her eyes. Melanie herself had thought the same thing one too many times to have it repeated by someone else. . . someone who knew nothing about angels at the very least, but yet, he could think of that. While she agreed with what he said last, it hadn't made her feel much better. "No, we're not perfect. . . I mean they aren't perfect," she said shaking her head slightly and acting as if she'd just accidentaly stumbled over her words. "Do you believe in guardian angels, Reginer?" she asked him, glancing up to look at him briefly before she returned her eyes to the statues. "If so, I think it might be nice to make theirjob easier sometimes by looking out for yourself. Making sure that you're not reckless, eat healthy, and that if your sick, you get yourself help as soon as possible," she said again, seeming to say the last bit with a little more emphasis. Melanie knew that she was treading very closely on telling the truth here and she knew that if Reginer peiced somethings together, he might just very well suspect the truth, but it was stuff that Mel felt needed to be said. Melanie frowned in confusion for a second when she felt something start to roll down her cheek. Hesitantly, she touched her fingers to her cheek and saw that the tips of her fingers were wet. Your crying, a logical voice said to her. Angels didn't ever really cry, but when they looked the humans, there emotions tended to be a little harder to control which explained her tears running down her cheek from thinking if the twins once again. "I've got to go," she said abruptly, getting up from the table and walking out the door onto the street once more.

Reginer Audo Reginer looked at her confused for a moment but by her sudden change in attitude he felt like he struck a chord. She must have believed in guardian angels pretty hard in order to feel so sad and now he felt guilty as he watched her leave. He looked back at the statue and stood up and followed her " Wait Melanie..." he said and ran after her " Look whatever I said I'm sorry as it seems to have upset you." he said " Look I'm not a firm believer in guardian angel and I'm pretty sure I've been keeping healthy but there are things you can't avoid...I've fallen sick recently so I'm heading to the hospital pretty soon..I'm sure its nothing." he said " Look I'm sorry about what I said back there, I just had no idea it would hurt you like this." he said.
