It ******** TEACHES KIDS to KILL TANOOKIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Played that game for hours non-stop when I ws like 8... but never EVER saw or killed ANY racoon in that game. Turtles, however, amused me on how they can claim near-extinct while there were plentu around in the game... blaugh
Also, that Tanooki suit might be just poliester... think, he enters water and goes out into a dungeon then walks a desert... real fur would be ruined by then. mrgreen

When I was little I thought that PETA was good and that they were helping animals but when they keep attacking Nintendo like this for no reason it has changed my thoughts about them. There is no reason for PETA to attack Mario. Why don't they attack something no one cares about like Jersey Shore? blaugh

First that, now Pokemon Black and Blue.

I'm as much for animal rights as anybody, but PETA needs to shut the frak up about my childhood games that are not in any way intended to be malicious towards animals.

Yes, Pokemon battling IS basically glorified cockfights if you want to take such a negative viewpoint to it, but really it's a great deal more than that; at its best it can be legitimately educational. PETA's targeting of it, and the horrific way they portray the characters, just seems incredibly malicious on PETA's part.
