"I'm a pretty good judge of characterand even though we got off on the wrong foot. I get the feeling that we're supose to help each other," Nezumi said, being totally for real.

"I see. Will you show me your place, then? I don't know if you drive or take the bus, but I'm parked over that way," Ark said, gesturing towards the parking lot Nezumi had headed towards earlier.

"I usally walk, but we can take your car. My place is like 5 minutes away from here. Nezumi said with a grinned on his face. He was finally getting a room mate, he was so happy. "Oh and I cook and clean, so you won't have to worry about do that."

"I can take care of myself, you know," Ark said, stepping away from the wall he had been leaning on. "Well, follow me, and just give me the directions."

They arrived in front of a small white house, with a wrap around porch. There was a small garden on the left side of the house and a small round pond on the other side. A lovely sakura tree stood be the pond, shading a wood bench and swing, "Well? Like the outside?" Nezumi asked with a smile. He was really proud of his garden, and his house.

"Yes," Ark said, somewhat surprised. "I'm living in an apartment building right now. The apartment itself is very nice, but clearly lacks the opportunity for landscaping." He got out of the car, waiting for Nezumi to get out before locking it.

"It was my grandmother house. She let me come over and take care of her garden when my parent's kicked me out. When she died she left it to me," Nezumi said, after he got out of the car.He unlucked the front door, and let the other in first. The house had two bedrooms and a bathroom, a living room and lastly a small kitchen. The house had older pieces of wooden furniture than were still quite nice.

Ark looked around the house, not too surprised at the size of it. "It certainly looks efficient," he said. "Do you feel there's too much space for just yourself or something?"

"To be honest, yes and it's too lonely here without someone else." Nezumi said taking his jacket off and hanging it up. "At night, this place feels like a ghost town, it's SO quiet."

"Quiet is nice. It's difficult to sleep when there's too much noise," Ark said. He stood there, arms crossed, and continued to vacantly look around. "I don't understand why you'd want noise."

( Oops, I just realized I hadn't settled on an age. Do you have any preference for min/max ages? c: Gots to know what would be realistic-ish for a job. )

Nezumi looked around the quiet house for a second before saying, "I've lived in this quiet house by myself for the last 3 years. I would love to wake up in the morning and hear someone else's footsteps or voice. I don't like being alone."

Ark shrugged, "To each his own, I guess." He tapped a foot, not wanting to go around without an invitation. "How do you afford bills here? You must still be in school, no?"

"I work at the candy shop we met at and I was in school. I had to drop out though. Oh feel free to look away," Nezumi said a slight smile.

Ark went to sit down, not too far from the entrance. "You should finish high school, you know. Do you have any long-term plans?" He was almost concerned he was asking too many questions, but he didn't want to have the conversation turn around to himself.
