[Kaosujin Ryu]

Kaisujin cocked his head thoughtfully. "We strike strategically when possible, and slow them down when we can," he said softly, drawing on his own experience. Alexis tilted his head, glancing back at Jord and Anima. "We wait for them to make a move, and once they do, the elder Titans can act on it, and if they can't get there fast enough, we can at least stall them when possible," he advised. Jord nodded as Anima shifted to her normal blond and blue eyed appearance. "Some of the other enemies, like Overload or Johnny Rancid may return to this area, so we think you can handle them well enough," Cyborg said with a half smile, surprisingly relaxed as he looked over the new Teen Titans. I don't recognize the guy who surprised me, but the others look very similar to the others, he thought. His cybernetic eye scanned the guy in dark teal and black and came back with results that were shocking to him, though he outwardly showed no reaction to anything odd.

Connie nodded, listening to the males making their plan. "That sounds reasonable enough," she said, just to have some measure of input. At the moment, she couldn't think of much use she could be, but she could still try to help strategize.

Kaisujin glanced back towards the odd tower these metahumans lived in. He heard a creak as his gaze drifted towards the girl that spoke quietly. He grunted as he felt something slam into him from the side and behind before he felt it shove him hard, stunned from the sudden electrical shock as he slammed into a large barrel that reeked oddly. He didn't notice the arcs of electricity crackling over his body before the barrel of kerosene ignited in a fireball. Fortunately for him, the force of the detonation sent him into the water over the end of the dock several yards away, though he bounced twice painfully before slipping into the water. Alexis inhaled sharply as what seemed to be a whip made of lightning slammed into Phantom's ribs and back before sending him flying into a barrel of kerosene that detonated within seconds, consuming him in the fireball. He felt the electricity tingle over his skin as he transformed unconsciously, his eyes blinking at the odd armored being that dropped down off of the warehouse roof. Its eyes gleamed a deep red as bluish white arcs of electricity escaped the armor in different places. The lightning whip extended from a barb on the outside of its left wrist that protracted from a tube that ran into the interior of the armor.

Connie stared only for an instant after the detonation before diving into the water to pull Kaisujin back up to the surface. It was a good thing she know how to swim, else that would have been too reckless an action. "What or who is that?" she asked, hovering a few feet above the surf with an arm around Kaisujin's waist.

Kaisujin exhaled, spitting out water that froze into a chilly mist. Alexis exhaled, noticing the electricity. "Unless I'm mistaken, it's Overload... which makes things a heck of a lot harder," he said warily. Kaisujin inhaled slowly, focusing his energy before suddenly dissolving into snow, knowing the sudden shift in nature and form would startle the girl who'd helped him as the snow would melt rapidly. He materialized, already moving at the armored being... Overload. He drew a short sword from the horizontal sheath at the small of his back whose blade was a deep silver with a pale blue edge that looked razor sharp. "Xarzith ner!!" he snarled, hurling a spear of ice from his free hand, the large barbed head shooting through the smoke caused by the kerosene fire.

"What? Oh, gremplork," Connie said. Kaisujin's transformation did indeed surprise her, and she let out a small squeak. "Warn me before you do that, could you?"  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Kaisujin shifted, spinning as he leaped through the smoke, his slash slamming into the armored forearm of the electrical elemental. His eyes widened an instant before a massive jolt of electricity surged through him, hurling him backwards hard enough to slam on the back of his head and slide to the edge of the dock a second time. Alexis dropped to one knee, the ice spear shooting over his shoulder and slamming into Overload's armored chest, forcing him back a step. He saw Phantom's attack slam into Overload's forearm, leaving a deep gash in the metal, though electricity surged out and slammed into the fighter, shoving him backwards with brutal force. He didn't like the thudding sound he heard before he heard a pissed off groan. "You're going to regret that when I peel you outta that armor... or melt it off, one way or the other," he growled, groaning from the impact, though he didn't really notice the blood trickling from the cut in the back of his head as he wavered on his feet, staying up by sheer willpower.

Connie aimed a beam of green energy, a "starburst" at Overload. "Taste this, troq!" she snarled at the armored man.  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Kaisujin focused, drawing upon something he'd remembered from his father's youth, since the ex-assassin had mentioned the technique. "Drop dead... emphasis on the dead part," he growled, hurling the small, but explosive chunk of ice at the armor encasing the elemental. Alexis saw Overload stagger a couple of steps from Dawnfire's attack, though his eyes widened slightly when he saw something bluish white shoot through the smoke and hit hard enough in the abdomen of the armor to leave a small hole. He grunted when it suddenly detonated in a sudden ringing boom, the armor detonating into shards of twisted metal to reveal the elemental within.

Connie's eyes went wide. "Whoa."  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Kaisujin shifted slightly, his gaze shifting around rapidly as Overload, apparently angry, hurled several lightning blasts at him which he evaded, forcing back the pain in the back of his head and neck. "We could try using steel to ground his electrical attacks," he said as he caught hold of one sheet of metal and hurled it, not surprised to see the metal sheared in half and melted from the white hot 'skin' of Overload. Alexis blinked, grabbing two steel bars and slamming them into the ground, the tips pointed towards Overload.

"Maybe..." Connie muttered to herself, flying around behind Overload and firing another starburst at the elemental, hoping it would work to knock him into the steel poles. She didn't know how Overload's physiology affected being stabbed with a pole, but if she was lucky it wouldn't kill him, only channel his power into the ground.  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Kaisujin took half a step as Overload deflected the blast with a raised arm, his form blurring for an instant as he morphed before darting forward with a fluid kick that hit Overload in the chest before he shifted back to his normal form, a large sword of ice driving down and slamming into Overload in a burst of icy shards that glowed a brilliant white both from the impact and from the amount of kinetic force behind it. Alexis saw Overload stagger back, the tips of the steel bars barely touching its 'skin' before the energy flared and surged down into the ground. Overload shrieked as his form dissolved, fading as it shrank from a eight foot tall humanoid to little more than wisps of energy as the chip that was its 'mind' fell and bounced off the front of the belt of the remnants of the armor.

"X'hal," Connie murmured wonderingly. She didn't want to touch the chip, not knowing what would happen if she did. "What should we do with it?" she asked, alighting beside what was left of Overload.  

[Kaosujin Ryu]

Kaisujin smiled, knowing the look was ferally cold. "I have a few ideas," he said emotionlessly, a faint glimmer of rage flickering in his glowing bluish teal irises as the teal faded, replaced by a deep icy blue glow. Mist seeped from between his lips from his short, rapid breaths as a odd bluish aura swirled around his hands and wrists, twisting around his forearms. Alexis glanced at Cyborg, who blinked. "You're a cryomancer... they're only heard of in old Japanese legends," the older Titan said after a moment. Alexis noticed Kaisujin barely twitched at the revelation.
