Island coast

Mikka just nodded though she looked at her a**. It was not furry... her tail was but not her a**. she just shrugged it off and walked. Now and then she would have to stop for him and wait or go back. she was light on the sand so she had no trouble on it. "want mikka to help?" she asked

Kilgrim laughed as he was trying to catch up with his short legs as he saw Mikka looking back at her a**, it just made him laugh.
Kilgrim took a long drag from his cigar as he kept trying to catch up to Mikka until turned around and asked to help him.

"Sorry lass, these no way to help me, I'm short, heavy and hate sand, once we're back on solid ground then there wont be a problem with me lass"

"all right" Mikka said smiling as her tail swayed more. they more they walked from the beach the more the sand changed to rock and pebbles and then just solid rock. The rock hurt her bare feet but she would deal with it till them got to some where that was not to hard to walk on. There was a small path near by that had blood drops on it as it led back to the town. "here path back to town" she said happily

Kilgrim began to easily catch up to Mikka as the sand started to be replaced with rocks and pebbles, making it easyer for Kilgrim to get better footing and not sink into the sand. Kilgrim noticed Mikka wasn't enjoying walking over the rocks with her soft feet and then he noticed the blood drops on the path that seemed to lead to the town.

"Seems those jackasses went this way too, taking there bleeding friend it seems...also seems we need to get ya some shoes so ya soft dantiy feet arn't gonna get hurt on da ground lass"

"shoes?" Mikka said looking at her feet as she wiggled her toes. she never had shoes before but she saw other people wearing them. Her feet hand so many cuts and marks on them from going bare feet the bottom of them where not a pretty sight. "Can they be cute and red?" she asked with big eyes. She loved cute things and the color red. Red was her fav color though many people would dress her up in black and lace.

Kilgrim chuckled as he watched her look down to her feet and wiggle her toes, seems the whole idea of shoes was new to this girl and if she hadn't worn shoes before then the soles of her feet might not be in good shape, unlike Kilgrim's who bare feet can walk over burning coals.


"once we get to the city lass and find a shop that sell's clothes you can pick out whatever you want or whatever you think looks cute on ya, sound good?"

Cassius swam to the area the owl told him that Kota had gone down. It took him a while to find him, though, because he was looking for an owl instead of a person. When he did find him, he had good cause to swear silently at the sight of the Hunter looking cautiously among the rocks.

He eased himself onto one of the rocks still in the water and started singing, focusing it on the Hunter only. It didn't take him long to draw the man into the water to drown himself with a smile on his face.

That done, he got back into the water and made his way over to Kota, pulling himself to him with his arms since shifting would take him too long. When he saw the arrowhead, he swore out loud this time and cast a spell to shield the stone then focused on the wound itself.

"Kota? Can you hear me, Love?" he asked in a soft voice, one hand gently caressing his face. He knew he had to prepare him for what he had to do in order to help him since it would be very painful.

He wasn't even paying attention to the fact that Kota was about to see him in his mere form. His hair was even longer, his eyes a bit larger with pupils that would get wider in deep water, his features even more beautiful, his lower legs now a tail with iridescent scales, small spines forming along his spine that enabled him to move through the water easier, more scales moving over his lower belly and up his arms, smaller fins along the outsides of his forearms that allowed him to steer through the water easier and colored a beautiful rainbow of blues, and small gill slits behind his ears that allowed him to breathe under water. The fins along his lower arms could also be used as deadly weapons if he was in danger.

Cassius gave a small nod, "Okay then... You're out of it so this shouldn't bother you too much at the moment..." he said softly to himself then focused on getting the arrow out.

He broke off the arrow head and tossed it into the ocean then pulled the rest of the arrow out while singing a special song that would aid Kota's healing and soothe him at the same time.

That done, he eased him into his lap and simply held him, doing his best to speed his healing and warm him up a bit more while he tried to decide how to get him some place much more comfortable. He knew he could easily swim the distance, but didn't know how that would affect Kota's wound. The salt water could easily burn and cause the wound to scar. If he shifted and carried him, it would take forever to get him anywhere...

For the first time in his life, he hated that there was nothing he could do but hope that his ability as a Siren would actually help someone...

Cass just placed one finger over his lips and shook his head with a small smile as he sang, not wanting Kota to try to speak just yet as he poured more power into the song to help heal him. What he was doing took energy and focus to heal each wound and try to block the worst of the pain.

It seemed to take forever for him, but he could feel the wound closing, the blood shifted to its rightful place, the lung sealing itself and re-inflating. Then he shifted the song a bit to focus on the other injuries and soothe the nerves that sent the pain signals.

He kept hold of him as he sang, his song one of the purest beauty, easily showing why he was so rare. Very few Sirens could heal like this without sending the one they were healing insane from the beauty of the music. But Cassius kept it focused on the injuries and pain, letting Kota hear his voice without influencing his mind, feel the power without the drugging influence of it.

He didn't stop singing until all of Kota's injuries were fully healed and finally let the song trail off to a soft ending, one hand gently running through his hair and easing tangles from it, "Your little friend told me you needed a little help... I left him eating his weight in fruit..." he said softly, keeping a light note in his voice despite his previous worry and current anguish over Kota getting hurt.

Cass put his hands over Kota's, halting his movements then raising his face to look at him, "It's alright, Kota... You weren't ready to stay... That's not something to be ashamed of... As for getting hurt, that happens from time to time around here... We all have our fair share of Hunters after us and they all turn out to be surprisingly intelligent about their prey..." he said softly and leaned in to place a light kiss on his forehead.

He knew what he needed and considered his options to help, finally deciding on what he could actually do, "You stay here for a moment..." he told him then pulled himself up onto one of the rocks with only a bit of effort.

He closed his eyes for a moment then started singing again, keeping it focused on what he wanted so that Kota wasn't affected by it. It didn't take long before a member of one of the gangs constantly plaguing the island stepped dreamily from the forest and approached them and knelt in front of Kota.

Cass stopped singing but kept up a soothing hum to keep the man from hurting either of them and gave a simple nod and gesture with one hand for Kota to take what he needed. The young man still had his mind and free will, but was simply kept complacent so that neither of them would get hurt.
