She could hear the cracking of his jaw, she could almost feel it give beneath the force of her fist, but somehow the experience was losing the sweetness of earlier. Perhaps Shik was just tired of battling with somebody who he felt was not up to par with him, and that thought hurt more then any physical pain that he could have dealt her.
His words struck an ever harder blow, however.
She didn't back away from him, didn't turn her face away from the cold gaze directed at her. She could see his cheek turning red from the blow she had struck him with, and while it should have brought satisfaction, or even a sense of exhilaration, it did nothing. He was giving her nothing to feed off of anymore. He was almost acting normal.
Shaheen took a deep, calming breath, before unclenching her fist. It was only then that she realized how tight she had been keeping that fist, tight enough that her nails had been biting into the palm of her hand, enough to draw a little bit of blood. She reached up with that hand to place it against the side of Shiks face, feeling the warmth of his skin flushed with blood, almost carassing it, though she was sure she was causing him more pain then comfort. "Perhaps you are right...but that does not mean we shouldn't finish what we've started, does it?" Another smirk, much like the one she had given him when she'd first arrived.
She wanted to say more, felt like maybe she was obligated to explain herself, to explain her earlier reactions, but try as she might, she just could not get the words out, so she attempted a different approach, as she drew her hand away and let it fall back down to her side. "After...after we are finished, then maybe I will talk. But not now."

Shaheen didn't quite feel insulted by his questions mid-battle. She honestly felt that she deserved whatever words he had thrown in her face. She was a wreck, a complete and utter mess. Maybe what she needed was somebody she could just talk to. But there was something about that idea that was just so incredibly repelling, that it actually left a vile taste in her mouth just thinking about doing it. Talking about it would be admitting to her weakness out loud, to somebody else, and not just to herself in her head.
Well, at least Shik was agreeing to continue on with their battle.
The smirk slipped off of her face as she tried to focus now on the matter at hand, and that was the Executioner coming towards her, quite aggressively. She had a feeling he might be out for payback on the work she'd done to his face, and she was not disappointed when she caught the telltale signs that he was about to rise his fist at her.
So, she ducked, dodging the blow aimed at her face, and threw herself at his midsection, in an attempt to wrap her arms around him and throw him to the ground.

Payback indeed.
When Shaheen rushed at him, Shik welcomed her with open arms - open arms that ended with sharp nails that clamped down on her shoulders as they were both thrown back. Another nasty embrace, another eminent crash. But his head was clearer than before and his instincts were better controlled. Shik carried her momentum onward, throwing her over him while keeping his claws embedded in her skin, and when at last he came out on top he forced the chieftain back down beneath him. Knees pinned thighs, hands slid to her wrists, black nails dug past her skin in a vicegrip, and the remainder of his body weight sat on her torso and hips to keep her breathing but unable to do much else without throwing him off.
"Yellow . . . is a nice touch," he mused suddenly, glancing at the tattoo on her shoulder with a little smirk. "But I think red suits you as well, if not better. Thoughts?"

So apparently throwing herself at Shik had just been another one of many mistakes Shaheen had made during this "spar", if that's what it could even be called. It had been more of an all out annihilation, really. It was only because Shik had decided to stop attacking that she had gotten that hit in on his jaw, a cheap shot, not even worth being proud of. And now? Now she was lying with her back to the ground, the larger horsemen on top of her, pressing against her.
Her fear shield was so weak now, she could practically feel it struggling to maintain itself. Her body ached, her cuts and gashes seared with fresh pain at every little movement. Not that she was moving much at the moment. Nope, she was too busy staring up into the face of the horsemen who had pretty much bested her through this entire battle. She quirked an eyebrow up at his odd suggestion that red might suit her better then yellow. She attempted to shrug, a small, barely visible rising and falling of shoulders.
"I suppose red is a nice enough color." That condescending smile crept across her face once more. "I think I prefer it more on you, though."
She might have struggled to get out of his grasp, might have at least made an effort. She strained her wrists against his grip for an instant, only to feel that he had her in a vice like grip that was not likely to change. Her legs, which were normally quite powerful, were pinned beneath the weight of him, and unable to rise. The question now was whether she should just yield, or whether she should continue to fight this losing battle.
One thing about Shaheen, she was never a quitter. Her muscles tensed, and she began doing the only thing she could think of to do. She began to buck and thrash wildly beneath him, hands clenching into fists, straining against his grip once more, but this time with more force behind it. She moved any part of her body that was still mobile, her feet scrabbling in the dirt, and woe be to Shik if he got any part of himself near her teeth at that moment, because she would not hesitate to bite into him if she had to.
HP: 3 Damage: naaaaaaaah she's too cool for that.

She wasn't exactly playing possum, though he was smart to keep his grip tight on her as they both knew that the second she came across any amount of weakness she would not hesitate to strike. Indeed, it almost felt as though his knee was starting to slip off of her thigh. Hrrrrmmmmm...
Oh great, he was talking again. Maybe he planned on doing that until she gave in, boring her with sentences that she didn't fully understand. Wait, rough? What was that supposed to me---never mind, not really worth her time or effort to think about. And at least he wasn't asking her any more awkward questions about her feelings, or about the grey scale spreading across one side of her face and lacing through her hair.
"Ah yes, how the mighty have fallen." She rolled her eyes, her lips still cocked in that arrogant smirk.
It was as she was looking away from him, before her eyes could roam back towards his face above hers that she made her move. She fought for purchase with one foot, using it for leverage as she finally managed to slide one leg out from underneath him, driving her knee up into an area that Shik probably really did not want her driving her knee up into.
Well, all was fair in....well, war, at least. She never really understood the love part of it.

She pressed a hand to her forehead as she waited for the dizziness to subside, the pain of the rock that had spun itself into her knee only to ricochet off unnoticed at the moment. Her stomach was lurching from the pain induced nausea. The voices in her head were doing nothing to help her, at the moment, and indeed were only making things worse as Shik lumbered up towards her. Oh but he seemed just a tad..irked at the moment.
"Gladly" She said, as she more slowly this time pushed herself to her feet. She was streaked with blood and dirt, her hair was a mess, her feathers needed straitening, but she wouldn't have had it any other way. She stood in front of the horsemen, still smirking, never not smirking. They both knew he'd already won, but they also both knew she wasn't going to back down until he'd knocked her unconscious to the ground. Still, with a small grunt she threw another fist towards his face, a sloppy strike that he could easily dodge or block.
