James Taggart James grabbed a fifty out of his wallet. He had money to burn. "This should cover it." He put his wallet away. Thieves must not be as rare in Chicago. "If Brian gives you hard time tell me. I'll just smack him around." He chuckled. Brian had his back on the ride over. And now it's the other way around.

Shayla Fagan "Shay took the money, I will get you your change. But, my cousin is mannerly around me, I can't say as much for how he treats others." Shay said as she made her way to her cash register. "Do you want to come back to pick up your suit or shall I deliver it?" she asked as she rung out Taggart's bill.

James Taggart James smiled. That sounded like his friend. "I'll come and get the suit. He is usually well mannered around people." He crossed his arm. Leaning against the counter he smiled. "That's good that he is that way around you."

Esperanza RiveraEsperanza went over to the corner and found three matching ties for the customer. A red, a dark blue and a black. "Mister I will show you how to tie a tie." Esperanza said. "Which one do you prefer to go with your suit?"

Shayla Fagan While her new found assistant helped Taggart Shayla made the chnage. While she worked she spoke "most men are mannerly around me either because I have given them reason to or they have heard the fate of those who are rude to me. I grew up with a bunch of older brothers and learned a long time ago how to hold my own against bullies." The memory made her smile when she would scrap with her brothers. It used to drive her mother mad, but her father would only laugh. Luckily for her mother her other sisters were much more docile.

James Taggart James smiled. looking at his options and hearing her story. "I'll take the black one." He looked at Ms. Fagan. That was one thing he didn't like. "Yes. Bullies are never fun. Trying to show that the are best. I apply a mental game. Make people think they need me." He laughed. That was how he got into politics.

Shayla Fagan Shay smirked and handed him the tie. "So, do you need me to tie it for you or can you manage that much yourself?" She asked sarcastically. "You will look better dressed in one of my suits than you would in your wool skirt my friend."

James Taggart James smiled. She was sharp. "I can manage. But it's called a kilt." Chuckling he tied the tie. It felt nice on him. All he needed now was the suit. "So, shall I spread business for you?"

Shayla Fagan "If you would be so kind." She said with a slight bow of her head. "Just let your friends who want to play cops and robbers that I am neutral. I just make clothes. As to your suit you can pick it up in a week, if you wish me to make others I can make others." Shay pinned the paper with James' measurements to a manikin along with a cloth swatch for his suit.

James Taggart James nodded at her. "I will inform them of that. As to multiple suits... I would like some." He smiled and brought out his wallet. "How much?" Pulling out money. He could afford it. "Seriously... price?"

Shayla Fagan "Accounts are charged when service is rendered. Besides you have to come back for your clothes anyway unless you wish home delivery. If so fill out this." Shayla said holding up a paper with lines for his address and times when delivery would be best.

James Taggart James nodded at her. Taking the paper, reading over the details. "I rather not have them sent to Canada. And at the moment I am here. Just how it works..." Placing the paper down and moving his wallet away. "I will leave a hundred as a down payment." He placed the bill in her hand. Smiling a sly smile. "Or take it as a gift. I don't care."

Shayla Fagan Shayla took the cash. "Very well, call it a down payment and return in a week or so. I will have at the very least two pairs of pants, a jackets, a few vests and a handful of shirts. From there we can build up your closet." Shay held out a receipt for his order and the pick-up times for all the different articles.

A month has passed in the windy city of Chicago. It is now early April Spring may be here but there is still a n** in the evening air. It leaves you raw much like the long held tension of the uneasy truce between the gangs. The only question now is who will strike first and where?

Shayla Fagan Shayla had Taggart's clothe finished: five shirts, four pairs of pants, four vests, three jackets and a handful of ties, belts, bow ties and spats. With that order out of the way she cold work on the new costume order for The Rising Phoenix it seems they were going to make a risque homage to Shakespeare and do a tawdry little version of 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. Shayla may be making the costumes with the help of her assistant Esperanza but she would not attend such a thing.
