"I meant you are a lucky dog, because of gettin' bailed out of jail for your career." the rifle had been relinquished from Carlson's shoulder and slung on his back once more. He listened to Jake's opinion on using his vehicle on raiders, Carlson, on the other hand, really was neutral in how vehicles were used. He replied "Yeah, I hear you. I was usually more into motorcycles, until hover bikes became available. I mean, a hover bike! They've been available for all these years, and I never knew about them as a kid!" Carlson sighed and laughed about not knowing of such tech when he was a child.

Jake "Frankenstein" Nelson"I guess so." Jake said taking another drink from his beer. He still didn't like the use of his creation. "The Dreadnaught is currently being used to torch and destroy towns." He tossed his empty can into a stack of tires. "Ten points." He chuckled a little. He was glad to be out early instead of spending more years in prison. Very few knew he was in prison. "My creation is killing raiders and civilians alike."

Carlson replied "Hmm, that thing sounds like one powerful piece of machinery. A force to be reckoned with." he felt such machinery needed not to be used at any time, but for a last resort. Carlson really used his bike to escape tight scenarios with mobsters and just some bad people in general. It took him a moment, then he laughed about the 'ten points' thing.

Jake "Frankenstein" Nelson"It is." Jake said. He sat down on one of the tires. "Two flamethrowers, four fifty cals, and one one-oh five tank cannon. With hedging tool attached to the front. Chains with spikes in the back. And enough ammo to feed a small army." He stretched a little. "My truck has the best chance of destroying it." He looked at his truck then back at Carlson. His truck was the only thing out here that had a good shot. "Seems that no zombies appeared. That's good news."

Carlson was grateful no zombies appeared. He replied "Well that's a s**t load of power there. And on this here truck." Carlson began to imagine himself on a hover bike with an armor piercing harpoon cannon. He always wanted one of those when he first landed on Anderasavi. The harpoon cannon would have authorities questioned, but a hover bike to cruise about? It was his dream vehicle. Then he realized power tools would attract more zombies, and asked "Don't you think the hedging tool'll just get more zombie attention?"

Jake "Frankenstein" Nelson"Nope allows them to plow through enemies." Jake said. He grabbed a tin can and tossed it in the tire stack. He laughed when it landed in. "I should have done basketball. But I got that attention disorder thing." He grabbed some more garbage and kept tossing them in the tire stack. "But yeah my truck stands a chance. Other cars and people not a snowballs chance in hell."

"Sheesh, You must have been bustin' your rear workin' that off, that sounds incredible." that answered Carlson's question, he unsheathed his tanto and threw it like a throwing knife, allowing its blade to sink into a small cardboard box. He walked over and removed the shiny, flawless blade from the cardboard surface. The blade met the sheath once more as Carlson sat back down.

Jake "Frankenstein" Nelson"I did. I always put my best in the cars I make. The Dreadnaught is my pride and joy." Jake said. He smiled a little. "But second to my truck. The Dread was how I got out of prison early. Besides good behaviour." He spun his wrench in his hand. "I can't focus to well on other things. But when it comes to cars I'm all there." He kept spinning his wrench. It was his favourite, blood stains and all.

Carlson looked at the wrench and said "Neat, any tool can take some abuse, my tanto has yet to get a little abuse, on them zombies." He saw what looked like a hover bike, then said "Maybe you could fix that hover bike? Give it some spikes on the front and a pump-action harpoon cannon, maybe?" he had finally busted the nerve to mention his dream vehicle.

Jake "Frankenstein" Nelson"Yeah. I can do that." Jake said. He grabbed the bike dragged it into his shop. He started up the up. It coughed a little but went on working. He turned it off. "Yeah it works. Got sum bugs but it works." He took the engine apart and found a bad piston. He replaced it and put the engine back together. He grabbed his welder and some sheet metal. He started to form Carlson's spikes. "The harpoon cannon is what you would have to do." He kept at the bike.

Carlson nodded about having to do construction on the harpoon cannon. He went back to his gun store, and found out he had some parts left, a pump for long guns, and took it out of its package. He discovered some rebars and took five of them, and made some arrow heads from some scrap metal. The stand was made from old car parts repolished and painted metallic green, a bigger tube was mounted. He used some other parts for the action, he tested it out a few times and it functioned well. The trigger was installed, and tested on one of the harpoons, there were a few flukes worked out of the cannon. Carlson fiddled around until it was properly functioning. Twas a beauty of a harpoon cannon!

Jake "Frankenstein" NelsonJake finished welding the spikes to the frame. He made the points of spikes stronger. "Carlson how is your cannon comming along." He shouted. He grabbed some scrap metal and began to build the mount for the harpoon cannon. He was ahead on this project. To him it was an easy project. He kept on the idea of a simple mounting system.

Carlson replied "It's comin' very good! I finished it up." Carlson lifted the cannon and carried it over to his new hover bike, readying it to mount onto the bike.

Jake "Frankenstein" NelsonJake finished welding the mounting system. He stretched a little and grabbed cannon from Carlson. He mounted the cannon. "All done." He leaned back admiring his work. He tossed Carlson the keys. "Your ride is done."

"Neat! Thank ya! This going to be one helluva time for me." Carlson began to laugh with joy as he hopped on his ride and put the keys into the ignition. The harpoon cannon felt so right against his shoulder, the pump even felt just as good in his hand! The padding on the seat felt as good as new when he had sit in it. It just looked and felt right. Carlson was going to have a hell of a lot of fun!
