 Isolde Callaway Isolde took a mask from her pack and strapped it to her face, when she spoke her voice came out sounding mechanical. "I also have one for Danny." She said holding up a second. "Let's get a move on before something else exciting happens." She said as she put the second mask back in her pack and edged over to the side of the mushroom to slide herself over its lip and give her a shot at wrapping her legs around the stock and sliding on down to the ground. Once on the ground she would fill Danny in on their choice give him the mask and be on their way to the access hatch.

Alan Wagner Alan was surprised to see her so raring to go. He watched as she began trying to slid down the stalk and hops to his feet. "Woah, one second." He fires the grappling hook into the cap of the mushroom and rappels down to the side. Once he reaches the bottom he pulls the line taut. "It might be easier to just slide down this." The last thing he needed was for her to fall and break her neck, she was the only person he'd run into so far since the outbreak whose neck he didn't want to ring. Everyone else so far has either tried to kill him or at the very least insult him.

Isolde Callaway She reached out for the line and wrapped her ankle around it pressing her boot to her ankle she was able to slowly slide down. When she hit the ground she walked over to Daniel. "Danny take this mask." She said as she pulled the spare form her pack, we are going through the city to wherever Alan's base is. We will need to go through the under-city which is full of spores you will need this to avoid being exposed to the noxious spore." She did not wish to leave her lab but having an anxiety attack and falling apart would do no good. She was willing herself to pull together when they were safe she would find a place to be alone and let everything rise to the surface again, and work through things slowly and figure out exactly what she wanted to do...but that would have to wait till they were actually safe.

Alan Wagner Once Isolde made it safely to ground level he disengaged the grappling hook and winched it back into his gauntlet. He followed her over to Danny and listened as she explained the plan to him. "Do you have any weapons on you Isolde?" If they ran into trouble along the way, it wouldn't do to have her defenseless. He was fairly certain he could take care of the occasional group, but if something went horribly wrong, she'd need a weapon.

Isolde Callaway Isolde reached around to the small of her back, when her hand became visible again she held a razor sharp knife. "I have this and my dart gun with several needles some are acid, some are poison and a select few are a knockout agent." She answered unsure as to what Wagner wanted. She was not going to tell him she had a few other blades hidden on her person and a small blaster in her pack.

Alan Wagner Alan knew soldiers who could fight off an entire squad with nothing but a knife and their tencity, but he wasn't positive Isolde was that kind of badass. The dart gun didn't inspire much confidence in him either, he was no scientist, but he was fairly certain a bullet in their brain was a bit more effective than poison, assuming poison worked on these things at all. He was wary about parting with one of his weapons, but he'd rather have three well armed people on this run than two. The Desert Eagle was probably far too powerful for someone not trained to use it, not to mention the lack of rounds in the magazine would probably lead to trouble. He undid his right holster and drew his 1911. "Here hold onto this will you? I'm not sure how well the dart gun works, but this is pretty foolproof. I expect it back though when this whole mess is over though."

Isolde Callaway Isolde looked at the weapon and then pulled up the dart gun and placed an acidic dart into the chamber and closed it. "Science is the answer to all." She said simply before firing the dart into onf of the tree like fungi several feet away. The dart released the acid on impact and it immediately began to eat hungrily at the fungis strong stock. The mushrooms cap quivered then crashed down. "I survived aloe since the outbreak not because I hid but because I applied my knowledge of chemistry." She said with an air of extreme self satisfaction.

Alan Wagner He sighed and put his pistol back in its holster. "I'll just leave the science to you then shall I?" He grinned and inspected the liquified mushroom stalk, just do me a favor and don't ever point that thing at me." He righted himself again and looked around. "So which access point do you think is most likely to be functional?" He raised an eyebrow and brought up the schematics for the city on the PDA in his left bracer. The 3D model hovered over his forearm as he inspected the points she mentioned.

Isolde Callaway Isolde smirked "Don't give me a reason." She said as she looked at the map. "I would say the north east corner. It was the largest and used for maintenance equipment. Since the systems were automated it probably is still in use." Isolde tried to offer helpfully. "But, don't you SRC gun jocks keep track of this sort of thing?" Her tone was disdainful she looked at the 'defense' forces as brute strength and precious little else. "You boys want to stay here this evening and get infected or eaten or would you like to find a place that is a little more defensible?!"
