Expeditionary Light (1x1 pokemon rp-me&InuHalfDemon30)

"Sure. I'll use Umbreon since he's the more experienced off my pokemon." He said as he released Turtwig and Pichu behind him to watch. "Ok you 2 watch and learn.
"Roger."
"Oh course."
Umbreon stepped forward onto the practice field to see which pokemon Kaoru was gonna use.

Kaoru looked over her pokemon and then at the one pokemon she knew in her younger years. She smiled said, "Piplup, I choose you." Piplup nodded then jumped off his place on her head. Then got in to position. "Piplup, peck attack." She commanded.

"Umbreon swift while spinning." He said as umbreon jumped into the air and started spinning with swift going off in every direction while dodging piplups peck attack.

"Quickly, Piplup dodge and use water gun at Umbreon's feet." Kaoru said easily switching tactics. Piplup only got grazed slightly by one star of the swift attack before shooting the ground at the spinning Umbreon's feet got wet. "Now again Peck attack."

"Hypnosis umbreon and quick attack." He said as Umbreon stopped spinning and used hypnosis on Piplup putting it to sleep and quickly landed and speed up along the water and tackled Piplup back to Kaoru.

Kaoru gasped then hurried to catch him. She caught her arms. She checked him over carefully and found she didn't have to worry. She carried him back over to her side then called for Shinx. Shinx looked determined as he stood ready to battle.

"Umbreon hold your ground." Reno said waiting for Kaoru to make the first move.
'Understood.' Umbreon said keeping his eye on shinx.

Kaoru commanded her Shinx quickly, "Use Leer then follow with a tackle." Leer is an attack that lowers the opponent's pokemon's defense. Shinx nodded saying, "Right." before using leer and ranning to tackle the other pokemon.

"NOW! Confuse ray!" Reno commanded as Umbreon Dodged the attack and used confuse ray on Shinx.

Kaoru bit her lower lip then shouted, "Shinx, I want you to give me your complete trust right now. If you get hit remember to hear the sound of my voice." Shinx nodded right before he was hit with the move. The pokemon got swirly eyes and was on wobbly feet. "Shinx, hear me! Ran very quickly to your left." Kaoru said knowing that attack when make SHinx do the opposite. Her pokemon ran right instead right at Umbreon. "Shinx use Leer." The pokemon instead used Tackle. Kaoru cheered a little seeing her pokemon slam in to Umbreon.

"Umbreon speed." Umbreon quickly sidestepped the tackle. "Now Quick attack. and follow up with swift." Reno said as umbreon ran quickly and knocked Shinx into the air and used Swift on it.

Kaoru commanded her now better pokemon, "Shinx, use tackle against his swift." She said. Shinx nodded and quickly ran dodging the stars to get to his target.

"Umbreon quick attack through the swift." Reno said as Umbreon Jumped up through the swift grabbing one of that stars making it bigger on his head as he spun and launched himself at Shinx making them both hit each others head in midair. Umbreon then broke off after the impact and landed in front of Reno.
'Ouch'
"Thats a move meant for contests....when did you?"
'Your father liked to dabble.'

Kaoru asked her pokemon, "Are you still good to battle?" Shinx nodded while saying, "Yes, I am. though that last attack did hurt." Kaoru could kind of understand what Shinx was saying before nodding then said, "Ok Shinx, tackle again and put your all in to it. This will be the last attack." Shinx nodded then ran again one more time at Umbreon.

"Umbreon hypnosis." Reno said as umbreon did so putting Shinx to sleep making him slide on the ground. Umbreon then walked up to Shinx put a paw on Shinx's neck. 'I win'
"Agreed. Umbreon come on back." Reno said as Umbreon came back to Reno. "Lets not Tire our pokemon out any more then needs to be."
