A larger gaming oriented headset usually costs a small investment. Though the sony headset isn't one where everyone will go get 10 sets just because, they are cheap enough to get on impulse of wanting better sound quality.
Just yesterday I got my Tritton AX Pro's in. OH MY GOD heart heart heart I didn't know how good sound could be in videogames until now. I'm currently playing X Men Destiny's with custom soundtracks going on, loud dubstep music with the bass cranked. It's making the sucky gameplay fun. |

Dude we are so in the sameboat, the bass on my headset is so sexy its not even funny. I been using my headset everyday its so much more fun with it. I even use it on my vita playing lbp and when you pass like moving things like water mill it goes boom boom boom. And with other moving stuff and things, I love it.
