Seems rp on Gaia is mostly dead unless you do series specific Hunger Games, Walking Dead, True Blood, Harry Potter, etc. As to the discussion parts it seems that never really got off the ground I wanted to talk about books but there are so few comments sad and the anime/manga threads are mostly just 3 or 4 posts long. No clue how to make people more active though.

Koboch We need to stop looking for "new" roleplays as that hasn't worked. The problem isn't the roleplays but rather the people. Once we start a new rp or restart one, it starts out fine with alot of people participating and then it dies. I have sadly been part of this, but had things in my life at those times so I won't apologize. I know I am not the only person who has things going on outside of gaia. But that brings me back to inactivity, half the people on this roster doesn't do a damn thing. Not the crews fault, you can't control what people do and it has nothing to do with the roleplays. We could have the greatest rp in the world and we would still be in the same boat. For the people who are trying...I give you an ovation. Downsize and start with people who you can trust and know will stay committed. Once that is established you can get the ball rolling and things will come together. And I typed this in a very agitated mood. As I didn't come back to sit on my a** and twiddle my thumbs. So I will apologize for doing this in an angry state. biggrin We should get rid of the people who don't post and haven't for awhile but what do you think we should do to keep people interested, and wanting to post?

I voted other cuz I like all of the above. Mostly. I Have been trying to be on but I don't have internet and haven't had it for the last couple of months. I've been on as much as possible buuut...
As for what we should be doing with the guild I think we might need to be doing some culling of inactive members.

I have tried to get involved with the rp's that were made, but my interest isnt in zombies and the other typical rp's. I hate to sound like a broken record but I have been hoping for either the FR rp or the 40k one that keeps being discussed. In the 50's rp i liked my character but it felt like he was kinda being pulled along without really given anything to do. Combined with a spike in real life stuff to do, i just havent had time to dedicate to rp's im not huge on. I might just start a 1x1 random rp and see if I have any luck.

When he comes back in august we will get it rolling but only 2 factions ork vs. not sure probably.

Not sure what you could do to get more people to respond to the poll or this thread. Looks like people are not happy but only a small few have given their two cents. I prefer role plays from movies, or books since it sets some good ground rules and more people seem to like that thing, then any originals. At least here on gaia anyway.

I do not have internet and do not know when I will have it back. I check things on mondays and tuesdays, but apart from that...
I however would like to see zombies and 20's keep going. I also wouldn't mind seeing something-punk come up. Steampunk, cuberpunk, maybe 20's can go Diesel-punk. I dunno, but my X-punk boner needs stroking.
And then there's Catholic Space Nazis.

i don't do vamp type rp case it requires to much emotion and cynical stigma to display for a character. pirates sounds good but its seems way to simple for my taste. and gangster well lets just say i am not a big fan of realism no heart feelings. so i look for fantasy, mystery, and adventure in rp's.
