"Ever killed anyone with it?"

When the man stood and tipped his chair over, Zane looked over his shoulder, eyes narrowing as the drunkard barked at one of the waitresses. That was something he couldn't just stand and watch; Zane wasn't the most polite of young men, but he despised the mistreatment of women, for reasons of his own His past had been full of it.

His face grew hard as he watched the man bark random orders; this guy needed to quit.

At that question, Yuri's eyes slid back towards Zane and his mouth curved down in a frown. He didn't answer, instead the drunken guy got his attention again as he became louder and more obnoxious. Well if nobody else was going to do anything, he might as well.

Leaving his sword behind, Yuri rose to his feet and put on a cocky smirk as he strode toward the "gentleman", leaning his elbow against the bar.

"Boozin' it up and then taking it out on the girls. You're real charming aren't you?"

It's one thing to drink, but to get to the point where you're out of control, it disgusted him.

When Yuri said nothing, Zane blinked, leaning away a bit. Hm.. Interesting, the thought to himself, even as the other man rose and addressed the guy at the bar. Was he about to start something?

The drunk man turned his gaze on Yuri, his head cocked to the side in his drunken rage. "What's it to you, lady?" he bumbled, puffing out his chest. He shoved one of his friends on the arm, pulling the other guys' attention into things. "Got a problem with it, princess?"

Rolling his eyes in disgust, Zane also rose to his feet--however, he did smirk at the 'princess' comment. Man, Yuri needed a hair cut.

Ugh, really? Again with the princess bit? Guess he couldn't really expect low lifes to be original.

Yuri put his hand on his hip, the smirk never leaving his face. "Yeah, actually. And if you don't leave quietly. This "princess" is gonna kick your a**."

Seeing Zane stand up out of the corner of his eye, Yuri didn't take his gaze off this drunken b*****d. If things continued like they were, he may have to teach this guy a lesson.

"Who're you to tell me to leave?" the man yelled, coming forward and grabbing the collar of Yuri's shirt, just to get in his face. "Just try to make me."

Zane shook his head, running a hand through his hair as he watched. This wasn't his problem, and half of him wanted to just step away, not get involved...

Until the other guy stood up, his eyes set on the waitress that had moved to pick up the first man's chair. As he stared her down, Zane watched the man more closely, blood starting to boil under his skin.

Maybe he would have to get his hands dirty tonight.

As the man made a grab for his shirt, Yuri was quicker, and grabbed the man's wrist instead. The fact that this guy was drunk, and he wasn't, definitely gave him a huge edge.

"Listen, I know I'm pretty, but I'm really not into guys. So why don't you keep your hands to yourself."

He then effortlessly twisted the other man's wrist. More than enough to make it painful.

"gaaaah! What the hell?"

The man crumpled back clutching his wrist to his chest as he glared murderously at Yuri. His drunken friends rose to their feet, staring him down, as well as sizing up Zane who stood at his side.

Aw, hell. They really were going to drag him into this.

He looked to Yuri, sighing as a few of the other drunk men made their way over. "You up for this?"

Yuri's expression was incredibly smug at that, and the man seemed to be bristling with anticipation as the other drunks got up.

"Heh, I think I should be asking you that," Yuri replied. Zane seemed a bit more reluctant than he did. And if there was one thing Yuri loved, it was a good fight.

Zane laughed. "I'm always up for a brawl." he smirked, dodging as a man leapt at him. He swept to his side smoothly, head high and shoulders braced as he waited for more to come at him.

Another of the drunks lunged for Yuri, another of his friends circling to two level headed men.

Yuri's smug smirk widened to a grin at Zane's reply. That's more like it.

As the one drunkard lunged at him, Yuri quickly dodged the man and stuck out his leg to trip him up. Sending the guy stumbling head long in Zane's direction. He then grabbed the tipped over chair from earlier to deflect an knock down another guy as he too came at him.

"C'mon guys, is this really all you've got?"

Immediately after saying that, Yuri ducked, narrowly dodging a swung fist. He returned the favor by swinging his own and hitting the man square in the jaw.

Grabbing hold of the guy Yuri had tripped, Zane twisted and drove his knee into the man's stomach then tossed him aside just in time to catch another that dove for him.

"This is way too easy. I thought you Kodo guys would have had a little more spunk!" he taunted, rolling his shoulders after shoving the guy back. A dangerous grin spread across his face; it had been a while since he had fought guys his size.

Even if they were dropping easily, the thrill of the fight was definitely there.

"I'll show ya spunk, you b*****d!" One of them slurred and started swinging his fists at Zane. Yuri coming up behind him and driving his fist into the guy's side, causing him to double over while Yuri brought down his clasped fists right between his shoulder blades.

No sooner was that guy on the floor than someone grabbed Yuri's shoulder and socked him in the jaw. Yuri's vision exploded in stars for a few moments, causing him to stumble. He also felt something warm tricking from the corner of his mouth. His smirk gone, Yuri's eyes darkened as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

"Oh, you're going down."

With that, Yuri rushed the guy, knocking him back into the wall and viciously swinging a couple punches at him. The original instigator was also picking himself off the floor, growling angrily as he picked up a chair, holding it over his head as he approached Yuri.

"Yeah, not today bro."

Zane kicked the back of the man's knees, sending him crumpling again, the chair falling just short of Yuri's back. Zane grinned and dusted his hands, too slow to notice the man that slammed into him from behind.

With a grunt, he fell forward, slamming into the ground. When he pushed himself up, his eyes blazed, set on the man who had forced him down. He forced himself over and punched the man in the face, knocking him out cold onto his back.

There. Try that again, he thought, shrugging off the last attack.

Holding that guy by the collar now, his nose bleeding and looking rather out of it, Yuri glanced over his shoulder as he heard something fall. That dude that started this whole mess and a chair.

Looking up at Zane, Yuri dropped the drunkard he has a hold of and let him hit the floor. "Thanks, man."

He looked around, the last few that were still standing were looking pretty wary about continuing this fight.

Yuri stepped forward an cracked his knuckles. "Okay, who's next?"

The other men shrank back and began shuffling away in retreat.

"No problem."

Zane stood back, crossing his arms over his broad chest. Didn't look like the other guys wanted to fight, though he couldn't blame them. He and Yuri apparently made a pretty decent team. He paused, then, realizing what exactly his thought meant to him; it had been ages since he had found another guy that he thought he might actually be friends with.

There weren't many he could put up with, the more he thought about it. His personality--and his past circumstances-- had made him extremely competitive and prideful. And his father...

Well. He wasn't going there.
