Mot came running like a bat into Hell. His eyes alight with great and mighty purpose. He skidded just short of ramming into Gene, a big grin painted on his face.

"HI!" He greeted excitedly, giving her a big hug that lifted her off the ground. "We get to take care of the snots?!" This was the job for protectors of JUSTICE!

He chuckled and set her down, rubbing his neck with a dopey smile. And then he noticed the small baku also nearby, a wide smile returning. "XIU!" His arms spread wide for another hug.

[Pales]

Kettil meandered in and paused a moment.

...First he had to antagonize his favorite cowboil, "HI MOT HIIIII. HII. YOU ARE STILL ALIVE GLAD TO SEE IT."

Don't question it. It's Kettil being himself.

Sort of.

Maybe a bit crazier than normal.

Being without his familiar is probably a bad thing.

Then he saw Muka and Freya. Mot was thankfully saved from having to deal with Kettil brand insanity by Freya and Muka. Perhaps the cowboil should thank his lucky stars. All of them.

"My brother and my ghoulfriend in the same place together? This must be the best day ever." Kettil then moved to sit with them.

Serafina ... really didn't know what she was doing here.

She wasn't all that interested in the biological sciences, but then again, she was interested in things that were adorable, and she certainly thought that the tiny little dragons that they were mentioning getting were absolutely one hundred percent adorable. She didn't really want to get her hands dirty, though--perhaps that explained the gloves? and perhaps even the surgical mask, though that never came off--and she had no idea how to even trap.

So she needed to find someone who looked like they knew what she was doing so she didn't come off as a complete and utter fool. It wouldn't be terribly wise to embarrass herself in front of Professor Walker--or, hell, Professor Elk was here? He had the promises of trips to exotic lands. She needed to be on her best performance.

Serafina looked around, looking for someone who likely knew what they were doing better than she was. It was then her eyes fell upon a rather pretty ghost and someone that looked rather Asian in styling--perhaps they were someone with similar origins as her?

It was that that prompted her to take a cautious approach over in their direction, keeping her body lowered a bit in an attempt to make herself look a bit unintimidating, perhaps someone who was shy--though she really was not--and someone who still needed help. While Serafina would not admit the second was true, it certainly was. As much as she had seen, she was still a first year at Amityville, and probably would continue to be for a bit.

"Ah, hello," she ventured, shyly, bowing her head. "I don't mean to bother you, but you guys look like you know more than I do. I've never been in the scarefari zone," that was true, "and was wondering if you'd mind if I followed you?"

Yes, that sounded good. That'd work as a favorable first impression she ... hoped. Getting in with the third years might help her in her quest for popularity, right?

The gentle smile didn't change, but an amused expression grew around the professor's eyes. This action was something he remembered from his own time at Amityville, he could recall Malcolm doing a couple back-pats every now and again. To be fair though, his appearance had hardly changed since his own highschool years.

"They are indeed found there, the green variety are a friendly thriving subtype. But small species, given the right tools, can survive many places. If you look closely, there will be signs of pygmy dragons in almost every zone." The professor looked like he was going to go on, and then paused. His head tilted to regard the tail.

"I am a bone dragon," he said with another calm smile.

Holding up a hand to the amphisbaenia as if saying "One second," the professor walked to the center of the old theatre's stage.

"Ah, thank you all for assembling tonight." The professor's voice was not loud, but his dry, raspy tone seemed to project across the ancient circle. "As you may have gathered, the wardens of the Scarefari Zone are in need of many assisting eyes, to trap and document new colouration patterns found in this year's pygmy dragon migration.

"We will be travelling to the scarefari zone by bus on the weekend so as to not interfere with student classes, overnight sleeping and eating arrangements will be provided. Pygmy dragons are found in the following zones: Misty Plains, Dark Forest, Bloodstone Cliffs, Landown Bog, Howling Karsts, Stormstruck Peaks, and the Southern Beaches. Volunteers will spend their day trapping pygmy dragons in these locations. A warden will be available in each of these zones if you require assistance in any matter, and will document new finds as you capture them."

The professor paused to look over the group.

"If you have any questions, you may approach me at any time."

As of this post, I will be adding the new pygmy dragon alts to the site, and you may trap at will! Please see the rules on the front page, and if you have any IC or OOC questions please quote me so I can answer in a timely manner. =3

ICly, you may have your non-questioning students depart for the evening, although you may linger to ask Professor Walker or Elk any questions you would like.

RP in the scarefari zone will pick up... sometime soon! =D

"Mmmhmmm..." He didn't seem disappointed in her answer, jut thoughtful still. "Well, I appreciate you answering the prodding questions of an old dog." He sounded like he was offering her a smile underneath that mask of his.

And then Walker started talking and he perked up alertly, turning his head towards the stage to listen to the young man speak. "Ah! Sounds like I need to start my head count." And perhaps get that bus started up, haha. He offered Yaya an almost sweeping bow, ever one for dramatic gestures - perhaps needed when one kept their face hidden. "Thank you again, m'dear."

And thus Elekereth started making rounds between the students, counting heads to see how many they had assembled (after all, he would like to see them all come back), before half-hopping up onto the stage next to Walker.

"Hello, Students! I've not met many of you, but I'm Professor Elekereth Orvos. I will also be escorting you all on this trip, so if you need my assistance, I will be here to help you!"

Danny ambled into the room surprisingly slowly for the demon. She settled somewhere behind Gene, wrapping an arm around the ghoul while she sent a text with the other. She didn't say much, but the affectionate nose in Gene's scarf was more than enough to convey their friendship.

Text to Rikki: com 2 the theatr. i guess wer like going 2 c minipets or something. if ur asleep o well no minipets 4 u.

Danny's eyes flicked back and forth between Mot and Gene. Since Danny was already in position, she whispered in Gene's ear, "Ooooooh someone got a boilfriend." She bit her lip and then said, "I mean you." Just in case Gene didn't understand!

Her eyes moved to focus on the teachers who were babbling on about capturing dragons or something. Sounded like fun, but Danny was actually a bit tired at the moment. Why, was a mystery.

"Hi Xiu. 'Sup Mot." The other two received a tiny wave. Mot got an affectionate punch in the arm and maybe a quiet "You go get 'em cowboil."

Next her eyes caught sight of Andrew. OH! HER COUSIN!!!!! Danny lit up and started waving him over. "Andrew! ANDREW!!" She turned to her friends. "Guys you gotta meet my cousin okay?"

The bells were heard first, grabbing her attention back to the approaching boil. Olivia gave him her own look, one of confusion, "what's not... odd?" She asked him, actually addressing a question.

Did he mean his bells? Though, maybe they were a little for a wildlife expedition where they would attract attention but they weren't that weird, she'd seen others fight while wearing them after all. The Wight never once considered his clothing, and really she wasn't one to judge since the only thing outdoorsy about her own attire were her boots and maybe her peacoat; she had a ruffled skirt and top on underneath after all.

The icy boil gained himself another quizzical look before Olivia turned her attention to the Professor as he gave further instructions. As best she could, she mentally took note of the locations; or at least the ones that seemed like those she'd actually venture to even though she had no idea what the places were like. Wardens and assistance. Did she have any questions? Probably not, but she still decided to linger around a bit.

It was then she noticed a few more people had shown up. They had been loud to begin with but she had been a little preoccupied.

Olivia doesn't think his bells are that weird...

He blinked at her odd response, not sure what to make of it. She'd been staring so, hadn't she found something odd? Something worth staring at... not both of them were confused and this wasn't going to go anywhere. Which didn't help at all. He merely watched her a moment before the sight of a familiar figure drew his attention briefly.

Etzer, was going to be so upset he'd been stuck with pet sitting duty, wasn't he? Because Xiu would be gone from the dorms the entire time. Somehow he'd thought his brother would try to drag Jack along to show to her or something, well that wasn't happening this weekend it seemed. He tilted his head, offering a small smile at the wave, returning the gesture lightly before shirking back at the sudden explosion of people. Nope, he was not going over there, so many of them had shown up. Nice as she was, he wasn't too keen on meeting about ... three or four other people right away? Even if they were probably just as nice. Nope, nope, nope. Bit too many at once for him, he'd rather not deal with questions if he could avoid it.

At that point the teacher had chimed up though, calling the attention of everyone. Discussing just what they'd all be doing. And where.

He'd had a vague idea of what was going to happen, but now he knew a little more. A bus and most things were taken care of. Which zones they could go to, and... well it seemed all logical enough. He figured it'd work out. And if anything happened there was a warden to assist, so they took care of potential dangers for the most part.

You know, assuming you were fast enough to run from whatever you'd ticked off if there was danger. Not a problem.

Well that was fine, he didn't really have questions at the moment. Maybe later, but he knew the zones and they'd take them to the area so. It seemed put together he just needed to wait until the appointed time to head out. Back to the previous matter.

"You were staring?" He questioned at that point, looking back to the shorter ghoul curiously, obviously still curious what she'd been looking at. He didn't get it at all.

He says that anyone who thinks they're weird is wrong. So Olivia is only a little wrong.

HAI.... you are surrounded by peoples. Intimidating third years everywhere. MOBS.

Xiu beamed when she caught Molan's return-wave and smile, but she was promptly made aware of her immediate surroundings when other third year friends began to arrive. Mot's appearance was met with a bright laugh, and she eagerly jumped forward to give her friend a big hug when he held his arms out towards her. "Hi Mot! How have you been?"

Her gaze sloooowly slid between Mot and Gene and she cleared her throat.

And then there was suddenly another voice addressing them, one that was not entirely familiar. Perking up, Xiu turned to face the newcomer curiously, a warm, welcoming smile immediately spreading over her lips. "Yes, of course you can come with us! We're here to help, after all." That, and the baku always loved meeting new students. Gene and Mot, she was sure, were the same. She took a step back so that she could drop into a small bow, "My name is Xiu! And you're...?"

Danny was there next, and the baku returned her greeting with a cheerful one of her own. However, when she started saying something about a cousin, the small ghoul's expression became puzzled. "Your...your cousin, Danny? He or she is among the new batch of students?" Curiously, she turned to eye them again, attempting to pick out anyone who might have reminded her of the fire demoness from among the crowd.

It sounded like it was almost time for them to leave too, if the professor's instructions were of any indication. She listened intently, giving a little nod when he was finished with his spiel. Well, this would be an interesting trip to be sure!

Olivia stood silently watching as the boil waved to someone in the growing group of loud older students. And then, seem to scoot away from them. Another oddity, why not approach them as he had with her? Not that she minded him lingering about her as it was, companionship was always nice no matter the numbers, but why shrink away?

Or, well, perhaps it was just to get an explanation. Olivia blinked for a few moments before, "Oh," had she been that unsettling? Sometimes others didn't take too kindly at being watched and observed in a silent manner, perhaps he was also one of those. "The bells," she explained simply with a light gesture to a few on his persons. Don't touch, even if she wanted to. "They reminded me of someone."

Xiu seemed content to return to her reunion while they waited for the teachers, which left him to the short ghoul before him And waiting for a reply. Unbeknownst to either of them, they were probably equally awkward with people in their own ways. So they'd both probably sort of shrunk away from the group. And no one seemed to keen on bothering either, so it was fine for now.

Her reply finally came and proved... his brother was right. Etzer had said on more than one occasion that his bells made him stick out like a sore thumb, and it was true. Not that he was going to get rid of them anytime soon due to it, but apparently that was the cause of all this. He followed her queue, issuing a single word to start. "Oh." He paused, not sure what to do at that point, having been the one to bother her first, obviously it was his bad for misunderstanding, but he wasn't sure how to move from there. He didn't feel like he needed to apologize, she had been staring. Even if he did that too sometimes. "Well... nevermind." He paused, eyeing the teachers a moment. "I guess we're going soon." They'd been taking count of the group earlier, so he assumed as much? Why else would they be figuring out how many students had come?

We got this. Most boring conversations ever. They can have epic discussions about clouds and buses on the bus. Yeaaaaaaaaa- saved the world.

Returning Xiu's hug with an extra tight squeeze, Gene smiled brightly at the little baku, glad to see her friend back to normal. It had been scary to see her in a coma, and even worse to know she had to help kill the baku in that dream universe. Normal Xiu was the best kind of Xiu, in the Doppelganger's book. "My pleasure hon; and yes, they're all so ado-"

A high pitched squeak came from the ghoul's mouth at the massive hug, turning into a giggle as she wrapped her arms loosely around Mot's neck before being set down by the boil, giving him a light peck on the cheek. "Yeah, it's gonna be fun!"

A new student approached them, and Gene gave her a broad smile and welcoming eyes. "Sure! Just tag along with us, hon! I'm Gene, by the way. You?" She held out her hand to shake the ghoul's hand, vaguely aware that a certain flame demon was snuggling up with her at the moment.

With her free hand, she stroked Danny's short and spiky hair for a moment, smiling lightly. "Yeah, I joined the club it seems." A fond look at Mot, before "Wait, you have a cousin?
