[FIN] Grand Plans!

"Hum?" Rosie strengthened up from her bag, running a brush through her hair a few times.
"Yeah that's a good idea, I bet they deal with a lot of tourists, so you're right!"
She dropped the brush down on her bed, hurrying over to join Sera. "Oh come on come on!" She called excitedly, with Vahy'n trotting behind the young trainer Rosie lead the way back into the hall and down to the lobby.

She paused once in the entrance aria, glancing around quietly before walking over to the counter where they had checked in.
"Excuse me." She said politely. "We have a question, is anyone here familiar with the 'fon Fabre'?"

The host looked faintly surprised, as though he had just been asked a very obvious question, but a polite smile returned to his expression in short order, "Yes, ma'am. House Fabre is one of the Parliamentary families. Is there something specific you would like to know?"

Rosie perked up when he confirmed that he did know who the family was, What LUCK! the first person they asked.
"Oh my gosh~ and yes sir, do you uh... happen to know where they might live?" She asked, with a slight tilt of her head.

"Certainly," the host replied, apparently arriving at the conclusion that they were tourists. "The Parliamentary homes are located in the noble quarter," he produced a pocket-sized map from below the counter to point out the named location, "and House Fabre is on the western side of the courtyard. Their banner is red and black."

Ooh, a map was helpful - a paper map, not like the one on Rosie's gear. That was helpful too, of course, but having it pointed out like that made it much simpler. Sera took it, mostly because Rosie had the map on her gear, so she would have the paper map, and studied the spot indicated, narrowing her eyes at it in thought as she attempted to trace a path. "That doesn't look hard to find," she said as she turned to regard Rosie. Well, there, mission was practically accomplished already. She was starting to wonder if they even needed the hotel room they'd gotten. "Wanna head over there now -- or get something to eat first?" The latter option had been tacked on, an afterthought brought on by the sudden sensation of hunger gnawing at her stomach. Food was probably good.

She was loving the people of Grand Ile more and more! As he showed them the small map, she leaned forward over the counter to get a better look, lifting up her Poke Gear to compare and make note on the map device.
"Sir, we can't thank you enough, you saved us days of searching on our own!" Rosie said with sincere gratitude.

Turning to Sera with renewed excitement, almost skipping over what she had said before she paused, blinked at Sera, and suddenly recalled what she had said.
"Oh! oh yes, yes we should probably got get food, before we go across the city."
They had not eaten today, and she wasn't sure when they would get food next, at least until they fund Luke, and Yuri, if he was with him, or got back to the Hotel.
"Thanks again Sir," She said to the host. twirling in place she grabbed her friend and starting to the exit.

Well Rosie thanked him more than enough for the both of them, so Sera didn't bother as she took Rosie's arm and hurried out the door with her. Once they were outside though, and subject to random, pointed glances from passersby, Sera frowned as she leaned close to Rosie and whispered, "Maybe we should go shopping for clothes later too. People keep looking at us funny." She didn't like being labeled a tourist, but that was exactly what she felt like.

She didn't even know where she was going to find food, but she figured where ever she went, they would run into a food place eventually.
As Sera spoke again, Rosie slowed her pace to listen, glancing around at said looks as she did.
Pausing for a moment, Rosie glanced down at her own clothes, while it was a perfectly acceptable outfit in Kodo, and rather cute... in her opinion, here in Grand Ile she did feel very... well, under-dressed.

Grinning sheepishly she turned her head to look at Sera. "I think... that's a great idea."

Sera nodded appreciatively, glad that Rosie felt the same as she did. It was good to know it wasn't just her. "Maybe after we find Luke," she suggested with a short nod, already set on such a course.


Roughly an hour passed before the pair were on their way through the noble quarter, headed to the house the man at the hotel had indicated. "Do you see it yet?" Sera asked, although her eyes were focused on the map she held in her hands rather than on the extravagant manors they were passing - possibly because they reminded her a little of the large house she'd been forced out of last year.

To add onto the strange looks, Rosie knew it was inevitable since this was not a pokemon adapted place, the girls had summoned the sister Rapidash to take them along the long ride to the fon Fabre's home.

Celestia tossed her head happily, clearly grateful to be out in such a lovely country! and to spend time with her sister again as they trotted the two girls though the less busy streets.

"Uhh..." Rosie hummed quietly to herself, looking through her map again to make sure they were still, on course.
There were not many people around this aria at all, and the houses and landscapes were becoming more and more high class.
"Oh! I think its just up ahead!"
She leaned forward, and Celestia broke into a gallop as they reached the house marked on the map. And sure enough, like the host had said, the large red and black banner was presented for the family crest.

Luna was equally happy to be traveling alongside her sister, and matched her speed to reach the house indicated.

Sera put the map away once they stopped at the pathway leading to the front meant for tourists - so that must've been what they were to go down. Not too far away she could make out a gate and... some people? "There's people in front of that gate further down," pointed out Miss Obvious, "I think we have to get past them first." That's usually what the point of people standing there was, after all, so she urged Luna into an easy canter down the path.

with her hands on Celestia's back, Rosie pushed herself up a bit higher to try and see the people that Sera was talking about. "Oh~"
She was feeling excited, and nervous. What if Luke wasn't there? What would they do then? Where would they look? Was he okay?
Trying not to dwell on it too much as she followed her friend up the path toward the people, two of them, standing at the front gates that looked like they lead further into the yard and eventually the house.

"Hello" Rosie greeted cheerfully. "Is this the fon Fabre home?"

Grande Ile natives didn't usually travel astride pokemon, and the guards acknowledged them with some apprehension as they approached. The addressed responded, "Yes it is. Do you have business with Lord Fabre?"

Lord Fabre? As if the house wasn't fancy enough, they had to have fancy titles, too? "No," Sera said readily with a shake of her head, "we're here to see Luke."

Rosie smiled, glancing over at Sera, before looking back over at the Guard. "My name is Rosie, and this is Seraphine, We're friends of Luke's."
She added more to what Sera had answered.
