[PRP] The Repercussions from Loss

"Your right..." Rosie said quietly, her eyes drifting over the tracks as well, with a worried look. "This is a protected aria."
Taking a step over them making her way over to stand in front of Greal, who let out another rough breath and continued to walk idly in the direction the tracks were going.

"You don't think this could have something to do with the missing girl, do you?" Was her first though, as she walked along the tracks and look around at the broken bushes.
"Or... I don't know, maybe not, it seems a little-"

There was a fall of hooves next to her and a sharp warning bellow from her Sawsbuck, right as Rosie's eyes fell onto a sight that caused her to scream and stagger backwards, both her hands reaching up to clasp at her mouth in horror, as well as silencing herself.

A Teddiursa, a young one from the looks of it was laying in one of the tracks, stiff and dirty, with half of its torso and head crushed in.

"Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no" Rosie gasped shakily into her hands few times taking another step back.

"I don't know..." Flynn admitted. This could be connected with the girl, such as a kidnapping, but then it might not be. This could be something completely different. It was best not to assume though.

However, Flynn's attention quickly went to Rosie as she screamed, causing the man to be on high alert. He looked to where she was looking, and sighed softly when he saw the dead Pokemon that had probably been in the wrong place at the wrong time and run over by whatever had come though.

The man put a hand on her shoulder. "You should go back. I'll look into this."

She looked away from the pokemon, pulling her hands away from her face when she felt Flynn's hand on her shoulder. At his words she took a moment to take a breath, followed by a soft shake of her head. "N no its okay... I'm a League Trainer, and a pokemon is involved with this, this is my job too."

She certainly seemed like she would have liked to turn around and walk away, and while she couldn't bring her eyes down on the gory sight right now, she held her ground "Uh Just give me a second, I'll report this in."

While she didn't leave, she did step to the side and pulled out her gear, taking a couple of seconds to pull up her contacts and start typing something, one hand moving up to her forehead. Oh that poor little thing... that poor pokemon.

Grealhorn lowered his head to the tracks, looking to the pokemon, then up to Flynn with stern eyes.
Turning away to let the man look around, it wasn't long before the stag spotted something in the bush. His eyes narrowed and he let out a harsh snort toward the man, nodding his head down into the bushes where another small brown figure was curled up, also stiff, and covered in blood.

The second Teddiursa, who was probably not hit full on like his sibling, had instead bled out in the bush. Two victims of this unsuspecting hit and run it seemed.

From the look of the tracks it seemed that hitting the two pokemon had not gone unnoticed by the vehicle, as the tracks swerved slightly and bumped up, a scrape on the side of a tree would shot a small amount of black paint, though to the side of the tree, something odd and dark was laying in the fallen branches.

As Rosie tried to compose herself, he gave a nod and let her go off to report in as she had sad. Meanwhile, he walked back to the young bear and used his boot to cover the body with some dirt and leaves.

However, the snort from Graelhorn got his attention, and Flynn approached only to see another gruesome sight. The man sighed, bending down to place a hand on the poor creature's head in sympathy. Then covering it as well.

Once that was done, he took a moment to look around. Noticing how the tracks had swerved. Perhaps to avoid hitting the bears? ... Or at least he hoped so. It would be awful if someone had done this on purpose. Moving over to the tree, he inspected the black paint, when something dark in the brush caught his attention. Flynn moved to investigate that as well.

Considering that the swers happened after the pokemon were hit, and didn't even bother to slow down, the likelihood of trying to avoid the pokemon, if they even saw them was pretty slim,

Noticing that Flynn had found something, Grealhorn followed the man over, head held high, eyes narrowed softly as he watched in silence, wondering what he was looking at.

Whatever was tucked behind the trees seemed to be made of plastic, and completely black, except for a red R places on the top of the corner of the crate's surface.

A crate? The red R was easily noticed, and while he didn't recognize the emblem... there was a certain something he'd heard about that began with that letter.

"Rosie, do you recognize this?" he asked, glancing over in the girl's direction. Maybe she would know something about it since she knew more about Kodo than he did.

While Flynn looked around Rosie had moved over to where the Pokemon had been covered up, her finger tips over her mouth, but she was crouching down closer to where the two pokemon had died. looking over the mounds quickly, and sadly, feeling terrible for the little guys.

When Flynn spoke Rosie looked up, placing her hands on her knees to push herself up, walking around the tracks and over to what Flynn had found.
The girl in pink stopped dead when she saw the crate, her eyes falling on the red R by the corner. and she felt a coldness rush through her body.
"Team Rocket." she spoke, lifting her head to glance around the forest. "Thats the Team Rocket symbol."

That's what he had been afraid of. Flynn nodded and stood, then released Uniceros nearby.

"If that's the case, then we should see what they're up to. This could put not only Katy in danger, but those looking for her as well."

The man then climbed onto the Rapidash's back, glancing down at Rosie. "Let's follow these tracks."

Admittedly, he didn't feel all that comfortable bringing her with him, but at the same time, it might be safer that way as well.

Rosie of course agreed that if Team Rocket was in the aria, it surely couldn't just be ignored. She hesitated for a moment, glancing int he direction that they had been searching for the in.
"Are you sure we should leave our grid?" she asked, uncertainly before Flynn said that this was a situation that could be putting the girl into danger. Rosie glanced down at Kiss before she stepped over to Greal, using a log to get herself a little higher on his back so she could hop up as well.

She would be lying if she said she wasn't worried, or even scared right now, but with one last glanced over to the two piles of dirt and leaves, where the young Pokemon lay. there wasn't any doubt in her that this was something that she, or anyone could run away from.

Once Kiss had hopped up and squeezed her way in front of Rosie, Greal pranced forward to pull up behind Uniceros, letting out a heavy grunt.

"It happens all the time, Team Rocket just hurts more and more living creatures no matter where they go." Rosie said, as they started off. "Its alarming to see them this far out through, What could they be doing?"

With Uniceros going at a gallop down the trail created by the vehicle, Flynn listened to Rosie's words with a growing amount of concern. Obviously he wasn't all that worried about leaving the grid, although who knew how far these Rockets had gone. If they ended up going too far, they might have to turn back after all. Just as long as the search party and the lost girl wasn't in trouble.

"I wish I knew," Flynn admitted to her question. It was an answer that he couldn't give her. Fortunately they would be able to find out though.

Gealhorn, while not as fast as a Rapidash, at least had the advantage of being familiar and adept to this kind of terrine, so he was able to keep up well enough, though long leaps through the makeshift trail.

"Ever since the League made an official announcement in Kodo, Team Rocket activity has gone down a lot..."
Still, it was always on her mind, on everyone who paid attention to Team Rocket wasn't going to start believing that that's what cleared Team Rocket out.

It was just alarming to suddenly be reminded again that they were in fact... still around.

The humans might not hear it, but The pokemon running, if paying attention would pick up the sounds of crying.
Greal's ears swiveled suddenly, as Kiss Kiss perked up higher in Rosie's arms "Rai!"

Uniceros heard it as well and came to a stop, pricking his ears forwards and snorting. The sudden stop certainly surprised Flynn. "Uniceros, what is it?"

The Rapidash glanced back at his rider then motioned his head in the direction where he heard the crying.

Frowning deeply, the blonde dismounted from the Rapidash and started walking in that direction.

Grealhorn himself pulled to a stop, Kiss Kiss hopping off just as quickly and taking off into the brush.
Rosie slid off of Grealhorn, walking to catch up with Flynn.

The crying took the pokemon off the trail of the tires, the farther the pokemon went, eventually the humans would be able to hear it too.
Rosie's eyes grew wide when she finally heard it, looking up to Flynn quickly. "Do you hear that?"

"Yeah, I do," Flynn said quietly as he could now hear the faint sound of crying that the Pokemon had picked up all the way back at the tracks. Flynn again using his sword to cut away brush since it seemed particularly thick here.

"Katy! Is that you?!" he called out, hoping that the little girl might hear them.

There was a pause when her name was called out, and then the crying continued, even louder "Help me!"
the small voice called through the trees. "I wanna go hooome!" She managed to bawl

"Oh my gosh, its her!" Rosie gasped, hurrying to keep up with Flynn, her heat pounding hard. It was Katy, they had found Katy, she was safe!

As they drew closer, There was a sudden deep growl from up ahead, Grealhorn and Kiss Kiss stopped in there tracks, Grealhorn's head jerking up high, his ears fanning forward in alarm.

The growl continued, only growing deeper as something massive started to move forward.
Stopping dead in her tracks, Rosie jerked back in surprise, and sudden pang of fear as whatever was approaching let out a horrible snort. She was only snapped out of her sudden worry when Grealhorn's hooves hit the ground next to his trainer, and he let out a bellow.

At the Sawsbuck's sound, the creature let out a horrible roar of fury, the snapping and crunching of leaves and bushes suddenly rushed as a large brown and furry monster brush from the brush barreling for the two humans and their pokemon.
