[FIN] Beauty and the Beast

She blinked as it tried to explain, then shook her head and reached forward to scoop it toward her, hugging it tentatively, in case it wanted to be let go. She didn't know what it was saying, and it was definitely hideous at first glance, but it had responded well to her petting it, and if it was really alone as it appeared to be...Hopefully it would be okay with a hug.

"Puuuuff," it bellowed as she picked him up, though he didn't seem to mind being held either. Its cheeks a little rosy as it hugged her back. Truly this had to be the best day of his rather miserable life.

Though the sound it made startled her a little and she drew back to look at it, she smiled gently as it hugged her back, then stroked its head looking to Lovey.

"Lets think of something fun to do, shall we?" she told the two, glancing out at the park and beach. Surely there was something they could do...

The Jigglypuff seemed to agree to this with a bellowed, "Puff." But didn't really have anything in the way of ideas.

With a bright smile, she shifted and sat the jigglypuff aside, then pushed herself to her feet looking around. "Come on, let's play!" she announced, before starting off into the park, waving to the two pokemon behind her.

The moonpuff didn't need much encouragement at this point and simply waddled after Dove at her beckoning. "Puuuuufff," he bellowed, like some nightmare on stubby legs as he trundled after here, wherever the girl may lead.

A good while later, Dove found herself sitting again at the bench, giggling as she readjusted the flower crown atop the jigglypuff's head, all the while fighting a yawn. It was late... much later than she had imagined she would still be in the park, and the eevee had already asked to be put away in her ball, but the joy coming from her new little friend delighted her, and she couldn't help but stay and spend time with him. Even now, she wished she had thought to bring some form of training equipment; it was a terrifying site at first glance, and if she had only thought to bring one pokeball...

She smiled at the pokemon, reaching over to pat it's head again. Who knows... maybe it didn't even want to be caught, though she would more than willingly give it a home if it wanted one. In any case, she hoped that it had at least enjoyed playing...

Sitting beside her on the bench was the jigglypuff, looking a fright as always despite looking somewhat chipper. If one could distinguish such an emotion from the scary expression that was permanently affixed to its face. The flower crown on his head though certainly detracting from it, if only a little.

This had been one of the best days he'd ever had, and Pokemon bellowed happily at Dove's laughter when she adjusted the flowers on his head. After a few more moments of sitting through, the Jigglypuff got up and jumped down from the bench.

He took a moment to hug her leg again in thanks before waddling away a few paces and waving. Indicating that he was leaving.

She watched it as it hopped from the bench and hugged her again, then smiled softly, waving back at it's parting gesture. "I hope you had fun!" she told it brightly, rising to her own feet, then kneeling in front of it to kiss it's head. "Stay safe, and I'm sure we'll see you again soon!"

And with that, she departed, pulling Sparky's ball from her belt-- it would do no good to walk home completely alone, after all-- and offered another wave over her shoulder. "Bye,friend!"
