Regardless of boxing being his primary style, The Dream had plenty of techniques in his arsenal; his Judo throws being among them. After sending Brody to the ground, Cyrus would immediately follow up with attempting a knee drop to the chest.

Face down against the canvas, Salem appeared to be in a bad spot following AJ's stunning maneuver, the former planting his palms to the mat while the latter waited anxiously near Salem's neck to strike when the iron was hot. The Charismatic One's head was throbbing with the ache from being dropped on his head and strangled. If the rookie didn't act quickly, AJ would surely look to test out a few more of his submissions and suplexes on the dark-haired daredevil. However, it had appeared that Salem had other ideas in mind, turning shoulder over shoulder to make a roll towards the ropes and escape his angry adversary. Once on the apron, the rookie would start trying to get back up to his feet before Warner had time to apprehend him.

Warner saw Salem roll his way to safety but did not approve. if Cyrus was too busy with Brody, AJ would be getting sweet revenge for his tag partner. The Suplex Shooter wagged his finger and walked towards Croft, going for a European Uppercut once his adversary stood to his feet.

Proving that a judo throw this close to the start of the match wasn't enough to keep him down for long, Brody wasted no time in rolling out from under Cyrus' knee drop, though he did accidentally roll his head into Salem's surprise ladder. There was a small thud as his skull hit the leg, and the collision was apparently enough to get his attention. Rubbing the point of contact, Brody tried working his way back up to his feet before Cyrus' could make another move.

AJ was hot in pursuit of Salem, but this was to be expected. As such, it would probably come as a startling surprise to the hot-headed Mr. Warner that the crafty Croft was anticipating a swift attack upon closing the distance, using his agility and experience with the uppercut to feint his head to the side at the last possible second. Almost immediately after, however, Salem would attempt to hook the back of AJ's head and jump from the apron, trying to drive the man's throat into the top cable with an emphatic drag-down over the rope.

It felt for a moment as AJ had just been released and hung from a noose when Salem drove his muscle and momentum down to the outside mat. In reaction, Warner dropped backwards, grasping at his throat and coughing violently.

Ryan's decision to not attack Jacob was slightly confusing, but it benefited him so he wasn't going to complain about it. Griffin would attempt to drive his boot upwards, trying to hit Ryan with an Upkick while he was busy taunting. If it landed then Griffin would try to use the space it would create to get to his feet.

Landing nimbly on his feet, Salem watched from ringside as AJ recoiled from the ropes in agony, flopping backward to the mat with a thud that quieted the spirits of the crowd. But such a sight only drew out the enthusiasm in Salem, who slapped the apron in a burst of satisfaction, climbing back onto the side of the ring. Wasting no time, the daring rookie would grasp the top rope and pull himself up and over - trying to nail the ailing AJ with a Springboard Elbow Drop!

Salem's elbow drove fiercely into AJ's chest, and as an immediate reaction, Warner rolled over putting his forearms between his chest and the mat, and still clenching at his throat for the time being. His eyes were clenched shut due to simply two moves from the man with a never-ending two cents. The Suplex Shooter wanted blood from the antagonist of the Bad Dreams, but clearly that would have to wait.

The Dream landed straight on his knee after missing his target. Thankfully for knee pads, most of the shock was absorbed. Cyrus got back to his feet about the same rate as Brody. This guy Brody was in his way, Cyrus wanted to take out Salem, he could care less what the other opponents were doing. That was Cyrus' fight, and not his partner's. The Dream would rush forward and suddenly jump up attempting a surprise Enziguri.

Jacob Griffin got to his feet as Ryan was slamming back first into the announce table. Jacob would threw a swift punch to Ryan's midsection trying to capitalize on the situation that was handed to him. If the punch landed then Jacob would try to turn Ryan around and bounce his face off the top of the announce table like a basketball and then toss him to the ground so he could work to take the top of the table off.
