She had been listening in, even if it was a tad rude but no one had noticed her speak so she slipped in as quietly as she could, her hoods glow a major issue as it shined against the wood and she saw a group of people there, many looking like swordsman who knew the art but her eyes focused on the one she knew, Cyrus. She watched him for a minute, trying to get his attention would wanting to disturb the group and their activity "Cyrus, there you are. I um..... i wanted to thankyou for saving me before....."she spoke as loud as she could, the metal base of her staff in her hand as she feared another attack could be around the corner.

"Hn, my name is Katsu Naikiri," Katsu approved, though felt it somewhat presumptuous to face him with a sword. Cyrus had obviously never heard of him, or perhaps he just wasn't that widely known. It didn't matter though, Katsu put his other hand openly on the hilt as to avoid a loss in flexibility. He knew something was up as soon as he heard that the Heiland wanted to make a first move, but Katsu gestured his OK as he readied. His eyes were fixed now, ignoring the girl who had just entered. Bad timing, he thought, having heard the sound of the door opening but not removing his eyes from Cyrus' direction. He'd learnt long ago to not underestimate your opponent, even if you feel stronger.

Akata watched the events unfold before him, and couldn't help but want to get involved. He had, after all, just bound himself to help the Heilands. And if that wasn't enough, Actaeon was speaking. "Akata! I cannot believe what you're seeing! You better do what you just promised. Besides, amongst the three Heilands here, I love that Cyrus fellow. You better help him!" Akata, at that point, had no other choice. He couldn't really use Actaeon inside of an airship, so he was forced to use his blades. With the stroke of his wrist, he unsheathed his flying swords. Five, to be exact. They hovered in the air beside him with every intent of following their master's every command. "I'm afraid I'm obligated to stop you from hurting the Heiland." His face was far more serious than it had been. He had no intent of stepping down, and neither did Actaeon.

Immediately, the light in the airship would leave, darkness enveloping everything. If Katsu couldn't manage to predict his attack, Cyrus would seem to teleport to Katsu, his weapon bloodseeker sliding into his neck and killing him. The prerequisite of the technique Cyrus used was to point his blade at Katsu for a certain amount of time, that stance was the only revealing factor to the fact that Cyrus was going to attack, but this was hidden by the darkness, implying that Katsu had no idea what he was planning.

Breaking the Flesh B-Rank
This is the first obviously offensive technique within the darkness incarnate. They will point their weapon at you and then disappear into a shroud of black; where they will have only one second before reappearing again. In this time, they can already gain the advantage of range and surprise; so the opponent must be careful. This technique cannot be done often; only once every three posts. It is easily given away by how they point their blade at that said enemy, so during that time the opponent may manage to muster an all-round defensive technique.


Drowning the Light - Passive

He had automatically sharpened his senses of touch in the ground, feeling the impact of Cyrus' feet and the wind of movement around him, finding the direction. Despite being blind, Katsu had already diverted the blade with the edge of his Kusanagi, though not in time to avoid it completely, the blood-blade making a cut along Katsu's jawline. He hadn't expected such instantaneous movements, which had taken him by surprise, but this was not the first time he'd only had a moments notice on threats. Over years, he'd trained his instincts to move faster than his thoughts, though it wasn't as skillful this way as he'd hoped. "Not bad," Katsu admitted, swinging his Kusanagi from that awkward position, still having enough force to send forth a gale of extreme speed and strength at Cyrus[Strength:12]. The Heiland would likely be knocked away and hit the wall with bone-breaking force. He saw from the corner of his eye that shinobi that had wanted in on the fighting, something about serving the Heilands or whatnot. Enough to kill him for. Katsu casually unveiled a scroll which unwound, waving like a flag on his side. This contained exactly 100 swords in it. Usually it was supposed to be used outside, but meh, why not? 100 swords shot out of the scroll at Akata all at once at a near point-blank range inside of a closed area. Against the mere 5 flying swords he had, the jounin was probably overwhelmed by the sudden explosive attack. By this point, Katsu had already forgotten where he was and that Kleine and Lars were in the same room.

In accordance with the begining of combat Akata's eyes burned red behind his shades. It was a gift from the last Shinobi he had killed. As a result, Katsu's motions were sort of useless. At the removal of the scroll, it was already implied that he was going to summon something. He couldn't allow it to happen so easily. With two strokes of his hands, he threw the blades at Katsu. It wouldn't seem like much of a problem, but there was an extra precaution the Jounin had taken. Using his Fuuton Master blood, he hardened the area of air around Katsu's mouth, decreasing his flow of breath. Completely. With such a sudden change in breathing, and the increased heart rate battle brought on, it would certainly cause Katsu to enter a coughing spat, dislodging any focus he had in controlling his blades if he still somehow managed to avoid his initial strike. There was literally no way for him to defend against the blades when he couldn't even pull off his own techniques due to suffocation.

Lars sighed and moved over to the couch, sitting down beside Kleine and sighing in annoyance. He could still see in the dark and notice the fight throughout all of the motions. He leaned back in the seat and almost face palmed. What could he honestly do at this point?

(( Here's the opinion I was brought into give: "While locked onto the enemy, they cannot stealth away from you. You can more easily predict where they're going to move, because your mind will translate and record the minute movements of their body; it's similar to the sharingan muscle movement perception." That's what the power says. It seems that you need to be able to see the movements of the body and their muscle movements for it to work. The darkness would negate it. So yes, Cyrus is hidden and Katsu's untapped power is unable to work in the darkness.


However that makes this untapped power dumb as hell and I'll talk to the crew to make it so it sucks less. For the time being, RP like it didn't work. ))
