Original Crew member James "I see you have a new set of crew members Captain Jonas. It would be wise that some might turn on you. You know pirates these days, the only thing they desire is gold and gold I mean a lot." Jonas looked at him and patted his left shoulder. "If that ever happens, I'll be the one to shoot them through the head." as he smirked. James smirked back. "Aye Captain." while walking around James noticed a female in the cooking courtiers. "So your the new lass that Jonas found in the dirty sea district? Not to fancy I hope." as he chuckled. "I'm James, I've been with Jonas since he was a tike, you could say I was like a extra father to him." He noticed she was looking for something. "If your looking for the cooking utensils there in the far left side drawer over yonder as well if your looking for fruit or meat, they will be in that crate just two crates behind ye. And if your looking for water, It's the big kegs behind the crates. Enough to feed an entire armada for 30 days." as he chuckled. "But as we pirates, depends on the cook and depends on how you fill us up, that depends on how much rations we will have for this trip. If you need anything ask me, I've been on this ship since his father was captain of this vassal."

She smiled, "thank you." She said, she liked this James character, he was a bit more polite than Jolly "My name is Terra, oh! Could you tell me about how many people are on the ship? So I know how much food I'm making?" she asked "It looks like it will hold about 50 people though so... she wasn't quite sure."wait are you the one that ordered the food and whatnot? She asked. She had just started thinking Jolly might be a bit responsible.

"Ha ha ha ha, your a very curious one aren't ye, Well counting the crew and myself and the captain and yourself that would make. 25 crew members. On this ship we don't carry much crew, we usually have 5 to 9 but, Jonas believes more is better." as he scratched the back of his head. "And yes I am the one who ordered the food. I am the captain chef of this vassal. The chef must have all his ingredients for the trip. Do you like to become one?" as he stood over revealing his trusted dagger. It was silver and the handle was pure oak wood. "Here, take this. This dagger was given to me by master, I was around the age of you, and now i shall pass it on to you. I'll teach you the works." as he chuckled out loud.

She smiled and took the dagger "thank you"She moved aside a little to make room for him. "he seems dependable but recklessShe chuckled "Does he get that from his father? She asked him while they cooked. She felt like she could talk to James comfortably. He said he was like a second father to Jolly, so is this what it feels like to work alongside a proper father figure. She chuckled to herself. Not like a pirate was to be proper, but she didn't mind.

"Yes, two peas in a pod, both the same. When I was your age, Rogers was his name. He was just like his son. Always crazy about adventures, always born to fight and always loved by the sea. Ha ha," Slowly laying out the fish, he began to use his skill as a chef and started to slice from the middle of its tail to the chest, opening it up with his hand. "You seem like a good lass. Here." as he gave her the powder. "Dust some of that stuff on the meat, it gives it a bit of spice. Jonas loves his spicy food, it always makes him confident." as he started to take the bones out of the fish with his finger nails, slowly removing the skeleton of the fish, he started to move the fish itself to the side.

Terra chuckled as she began to put some of the spicy powder on the meat "I think it would have been fun to meet him" she smiled "Well, I'm not sure if I'm good or not, but thank you. she said honestly. She felt like maybe she found a home here. She watched him debone the fish "well at least he has someone to watch his back through all the recklessness"

"Well were all family here, the captain, the crew and you are family to me. My job is to make sure you live your life to the fullest. Enjoy it, don't look back on it, keep moving forward and face whatever fate brings you." as he started to use his skills he began to chop the vegetables with a very fast speed with a butchers knife. The skill he has mastered developed a rather nice flavor to his cooking. He began to place the seasoning over the fish and started to stuff the fish with the chopped vegetables. "It would've been nice if he could've stayed with his son, but of course adventures always do call out to the craziest pirates. That's why I stick with this youngster. I feel a resemblance to his nature."

"Thank you She smiled and started to gut a fish for him, he had no idea how much that comment meant to her. "So how did you meet Rogers? She asked as she started free the fish of its entrails. He seemed like he's had quite a few adventures himself.

"I believe it was when I owed money to a couple of Pirate mercenaries." as he started to gather the fruit into a bowl he started to move the fish into the fryer and began to saute onions over it. "I was an apprentice of a famous chef, but, it seems i owed money. I don't remember why." as he began to flip the fish into the air and used his knifing skills as he sliced the fish into pieces. "But one day he appeared saving me, he paid my debt and told me to work for him as a chef on his vassal. I couldn't do nothing but as I was recruited, I felt like part of this family as if, destiny chose this for me. Then one day as he had a son, it became a new life. Heh I miss those days."

She laughed as she began to imagine Jolly in diapers "I bet he was a hellion She chuckled and looked down "Jolly saved me from something similar..."She smiled to herself then she remembered how much of a pervert he was and growled. He's going to pay dearly for that. She said referring to the kiss. Then she calmed down and thought for a moment "What happened to his father?"She asked curiously.

James looked over and saw something in her eyes. She must've experienced the same. "I see, well don't get to angry about it. To tell you a truth your the first he has kissed so far. I remember that Rogers made love with the girl same attitude like yours. You see the maiden of this ship grants success. I bet Jonas will make you his lass one day. If you ever do make a child. I would like to see it one day." as he chuckled. He looked at the pan. "He died, by protecting his crew against a Kraken. He went down..."

She grew infuriated at the thought of having a child then stopped when he told her how he died. "I wish my old man was that brave..." she sighed and started peeling potatoes. At least he died protecting loved ones. her father didn't even want to see his.

"Really? You two seem quite a pair." as he chuckled. Slowly as he came over to Terra. "If you need a father, come to me, I'll always be here to treat you as my own daughter." as he smiled. He had a couple of his own back in the Singapore of course they were all grown woman who became dancers. But still he was proud of there dreams. One of his daughters became a Governor of the British fleet, some intel like shipments were sent to him. Like food and water. "But just call me james if you will."

She winked at him and smiled "he's going to have to try harder if he wants a woman like me, but it is a little comforting knowing he doesn't go around kissing women.she stretched as they finished the food.Shall we feed these hungry men?

"Ha ha ha, if you give him a chance, trust me you will like him." as he smiled. "Right let's get the show on the road." as he started to gather the plates he began to walk out. "Dinner time you scurvy Dogs!" looking at Terra. "Bring Jonas his meal."
Jonas who was in his courtiers, was developing ideas for trips. He wanted to get to know the crew better so he chose a few spots around the map. Slowly as he grew hungry he told one of the crew to bring his meal. He was going to be busy inside.
