Naomi frowned at them all taking slow deep breaths. Of course there was no going back! If they went back they'd be dead and their families would freak out. She had to make do. "What now?" She asked turning to Thomas with a sigh. "I doubt they need an arms specialist. Right?"

Thomas glanced up as Naomi spoke. "I doubt they'd turn one down, and you're damn accurate," he sighed, shrugging one shoulder as he felt a slight tingling in his palm, not noticing how the misshapen bullet levitated slowly from his hand. Nor did he notice how 'Kitsune' was staring at him intently. He paused momentarily when he heard Sakura inhale sharply, his fingers widening slightly as the misshapen bullet shot towards the mirror which shattered with a sharp cracking pop.

Naomi frowned at the bullet. That was weird. She didn't know Thomas was a telekinetic. She yawned a little. "Yes but they don't have guns here." Naomi replied toward the end of her yawn. "I'd still be useless. I guess I could adapt myself to what weapons they do use." She hummed and scratched her hair. Urgh she was stress shedding again. She was glad she died her hair back to black. "So, where does one go to learn about your weapons?" Naomi asked with a smile.

"Well, there's the weapons guild." Sakura began. "But then, there's also the academy. They teach the basics and other things there but it's for younger kids." Naomi sighed. Great. School. She'd have to go back to school. Urgh!!!

Thomas shrugged. He sighed softly, thinking. "You use throwing knives?" he said quietly. He was mildly surprised that it was the navy haired ANBU by the 'name' of Kitsune who spoke. "We do, but they're called kunai," she said in a soft, melodic voice; he noted that her partner that Naomi had wounded was elsewhere. He tilted his head thoughtfully. "That's good; I have experience with using them and the Chinese dao broadsword as well as a few unarmed fighting styles," he said quietly. He tilted his head slightly, not really noticing the slight blush that stained Sakura's cheeks.

Naomi listened and did notice the blush on Sakura's cheek's and rolled her eyes. She was used to girls throwing themselves at Thomas and she had convinced herself to not be bothered by it. "How long does the academy take?" She asked Ino.

"A few years, however if you do it right you should be able to get out in a year, I guess." Naomi smiled a little.

"I've gone through school already but, I guess doing your school shouldn't be so hard to get through if I do it right." The Blonde ANBU hadn't even noticed yet. "Wow I'm a better thief than I thought." She purred twirling a Kunai on her finger.

Thomas tilted his head with a slight smirk as he dangled a indigo ribbon in Naomi's face. "If you're skilled for swiping a kunai, what does that mean for me?" he said teasingly as he knew Naomi would recognize the ribbon since she'd been holding her hair back with it when she'd gotten in his car and he knew she hadn't noticed him slipping it free.

Naomi frowned. "Why did you steal my red ribbon?" She asked pouting. "You know my mum gave that too me when we graduated." After a moment she blushed darkly. "Keep it." She said looking away. "Can anyone tell me where the black haired guy went? I. . . I need to apologize." She smiled a tiny bit trying to ignore the feeling that Sakura was going to invade on her territory.

Thomas tilted his head; he had a sense of deja vü, yet couldn't put his finger on what was bugging him. "I heard Shikamaru had gotten a small apartment, but I don't know where it is, primarily because he's out of the village on patrol now," she sighed. "It's strange... I feel... oddly comfortable in this village, yet I get the odd sensation like... I've seen some of this before, but I can't figure out why," he muttered. He wasn't sure why this felt familiar as he was dead certain he'd have remembered this place; it felt too unique and strangely familiar in a way that he knew would bother him until he figured it out. He wasn't sure why, but he had the strong sense that he knew where they were and why it was familiar.

Naomi wondered the halls looking for her victim. She didn't know how she knew where he was, okay she'd asked and gotten caged directions but that didn't count, but she could a man being tended by Tsunade. She was scolding him but he was staring out the window. Naomi sighed and just walked in. Tsunade hadn't even noticed her presence and she guessed the other only knew because her refection was showing vaguely in the window. "Hi." Naomi said to them both.

"Hn." He replied flicking his gaze to her for a moment then back to watching something, or someone.

"I'm sorry I shot you in the leg. I don't like being grabbed suddenly, or snuck up on, or anything like that." She admitted.

"Hn." He said again not looking at her. Tsunade chuckled at him but packed up her things and after ordering Naomi to see her when she was released.

"Is that all you can say?" Naomi asked. "I just apologized to you and all you can do is grunt?! That's rude!" She felt her palms heat up. He turned and stared at her. That got his attention. All right. She could play this game. "Look you rude, mute!" She hissed. "Next time you get in the way of my gun, I won't apologize!!!" Then she turned and made to storm out but he was in front of her. His black eyes pierced her soul.

"Dinner." He said then got out of her way. "Ditch that guy." He added as she was leaving. She paused turned and smiled sweetly at him. She noticed his expression waver just a tiny bit before she stood on his foot hearing the bone whine in protest with the force then continued back to her room. She heard someone behind her say "You're in mate!" She didn't bother turning around just returned to the room she was sharing with Thomas and flopped on the bed. "I hate being so nice."

Thomas tilted his head slightly as Naomi came back into the room, wincing slightly as he had a headache that was making his head throb painfully. "Let me guess, the guy that you shot was anti-social and unfriendly," he said wryly; he'd spotted the guy as he'd been helped past the room, and though he hadn't said anything at the time... he'd recognized the guy. His dark gray eyes narrowed as he shifted his gaze to stare out of the window at the village that was nudging something in his memory before his eyes widened fractionally, a low grunt escaping him as he winced a bit more, unaware that the EKG monitoring his heartbeat was starting to ring an alarm as his heart rate increased to nearly 140 beats per minute as his hand gripped the rail of the bed as a low metallic creaking sound followed by a slight humming sound flittered through the room. He was unaware of the slight yet growing blue aura swirling around him as blood trickled from his nose. Sakura shook Thomas' shoulder, frowning as he kept staring out the window as she felt the chakra swirling around him; she noticed the white knuckled grip on the rail as she shook him a bit harder before he bared his teeth suddenly, a slight grunt escaping him. She was mildly surprised as Ino peeled Thomas' fingers away from the rail yet... his palm stuck as if glued to it, though clearly it wasn't. Could he have Jiton like the Sandaime Kazekage? she thought, glancing at Ino who looked like she was thinking hard.

"Yeah." Naomi replied with a frown as she watched happen. How to get his attention. "He also asked me to have dinner with him and told me to ditch you." She sat up, she no longer felt any pain nor the desire to sleep. She was too focused on what he would have to say about someone else sniffing around his best friend. She really hoped it would break him out of his weird mood so he'd at least look at her and talk to her. "And the big boobed lady wants to talk to us when we're discharged-"

"You're not getting discharged until we know that your lung won't collapse again." Ino interrupted with a scowl.

"You look really ugly when you do that ya know?" Naomi counted realising that when she had mentioned the anti social mute that both girls had gotten weird. . . er.

Thomas bowed his head, his hair hiding his eyes. Sakura gasped as his hand suddenly came off of the rail, but she had a strange feeling that something was about to happen. "He probably thinks that because you have skills that aren't 'average' that you'll acquiesce to his terms since we have little holding us here at the moment. I wouldn't trust him, personally," he said quietly. He didn't even seem to notice that he claimed that both Ino's and Sakura's skills were 'average' since the guy hadn't seemed interested in them at all.

Naomi didn't let him see that the lack of emotional response was pissing her off. "Hmm. I can see your logic." She replied with a smile. "I mean he is cute, and those eyes really pierce the soul.I think I will go to dinner with him." She laid back. "See what happens. Who knows? He might be The One ya know?"

"This will hurt more than usual." Ino said a vein in her forehead popping as she jabbed Naomi with a needle full of pain killers. Naomi made a growl but didn't do anything about it. She wondered if the guy would come and see her before he left.

"I didn't even ask his name." Naomi realized sitting up. She blushed embarrassed. "I should-"

"Uchiha Sasuke." Sakura and Ino said at once."

"Oh." Naomi said blushing a little. "Thank you."

Thomas tilted his head slightly. "Methinks that a couple of beautiful nurses are a little bit jealous," he said softly, teasing both Ino and Sakura. Sakura snorted as she turned, facing him with an annoyed look. "What? I compliment you for being beautiful, obviously driven, and intelligent and you get annoyed. s**t, honey, you need to learn to take a compliment if that's the case," Thomas sighed with a shrug.

Naomi frowned at them both. "Girls here are weird." She commented to Thomas in English. "I'm going to go find him again anyway." She switched to Japanese. "That way, he'll know my name too-"

"He knows who you are already, he was the guy you shot." Sakura growled clearly jealous and annoyed.

"Wow, aren't you a ray of sunshine." Naomi quipped back. "I'm going for a walk, if I happen to run into him I'll talk to him. Geez get a life." Naomi turned to Thomas and kissed his cheek and gave him a hug. "See ya soon bestie." She said with a grin and sauntered out again. Yeah, she knew Thomas would see through her. See that being in doors with nothing to do was getting to her. She needed to stop being so irritable when that happened. But she couldn't help it. She loved the outdoors. After finding her way into the hospital courtyard she climbed up onto a bench and started to sunbake. Yeah. This was going to work out fine as long as she didn't stagnate-

"You're going to get burnt if you stay out here too long." A familiar voice drawled at her.

Naomi opened her eyes, blinking a few times to get used to the light change and sat up. Her skin felt deliciously warm as she stared back into the soul piercing eyes that was this so called 'Uchiha Sasuke.'

"Yeah? So?" She replied. "It's either be out here or in there with two girls crying over spilt milk they didn't even own." He smirked at her and she felt her breath catch in her throat. "Oh gosh." She said in English but he just frowned at her. She shook her head and made enough room for him to sit if he wanted. "I am Naomi." She said into the silence that followed.

"Aa." He said then another stretch of silence. "Uchiha Sasuke." He added as if sensing that she'd ask him then they returned to the slightly awkward silence that followed.
