[FIN] Call To Aid

Before they'd set off, Lin had turned to Vinny, quite ashen faced, as he offered a greeting, but almost seemed like a plea for assistance.
"I don't think I can ride a Charizard!" Came out of Lin's mouth instead of 'Hello Vinny, nice to see you!'

Jeeves offered a wary look, and then a nod to the man. Fine, he'd acknowledge the man. Now he had to make sure Lin didn't panic... or something.

Thankfully, the arrangements were made, and they made it to Sandalwood, with Moriko tucked safely in her ball, and Jeeves riding along with Lin.
It turned out that, as much as he feared flying types, Lin rather seemed to enjoy flying, and was alternating from wary glances at Charizards, and awestruck, amazed glances at the surroundings and ground below... He really should see about getting himself a flying type one day.

Even so, he found himself slightly giddy when they reached the ground, though the tree-top city, so familiar, was quickly settling for the boy's mindset.
He had no trouble knowing where the hospital was- though he wasn't keen on the place; he much preferred trying to look after himself, especially after the last time he'd been in one...
Still, they were here to visit someone, or something... Not for treatment, so that was fine.

While Rosie spoke to Flynn- and he recognised Dove's- Lin was watching Jace and Dawn.
He'd seen Swablus before, but this one looked unusual.
"Pretty!" He complimented the younger boy on his pokémon, while Jeeves took a look too and gave a slight bow. "You catch her?"

Rosie shook her head, with a glance to the young boy, looking disheveled and scared. but looked back to Flynn with an apologetic look and talking in a lower volume as to not let the child overhear, grateful when Lin came over to take the young trainers attention and help distract him.
She would have to thank Lin later.
"I'm not involving the children into this, but no, it... can't wait, I'm so sorry, Not when we have friends missing, and we have reason to believe that whoever attacked Yuri, might be involved."

The Jirachi didn't like this place, it felt sad, and painful, everywhere people were so worried and scared that it was hard to pick out just who was feeling what pain in a sea of fear.

"I don't like it here." She said with a deep frown, drifting further around Luke her hands lifting to her head to try and quiet the emotions for the people around her.
Though Amber eyes fell onto the people Rosie was talking to, a tall blond man, and not to far was a young boy, whom she felt a great deal of fear from.
"Why are we here?"

Luke raised a light hand to the nearby Jirachi's back, offering some physical solace to offset the mental discomfort she seemed to be responding to. "Our friend was hurt," he explained quietly, "and it might have something to do with the people who tried to attack you. We're going to make sure he's okay and let them know what's going on." Hospitals weren't particularly pleasant places - Luke was aware of that more than enough - and he could imagine that the psychic-type's empathic abilities only amplified that. He mustered some warmth and assurance into his demeanor to combat the negative feelings the environment innately produced, "We won't be here too long, don't worry." They couldn't afford to stay long, after all, not with friends completely unaccounted for.

Andre had given Akira a raised eyebrow and a faint smirk. "I'm sure you'll find some excitement on this trip." He hummed, his tone highly amused. Though he would like to catch up a bit more on what had been going on while he had been in recovery, he was more than ready to head out. Every moment spent here was time he could be searching for Rockets. He ushered Vincent away from the panicking boy he'd been conversing with and soon enough they were back in the air and on their way.

Sandelwood was rather pretty he had to admit. He openly admired the forest around them as they landed, "...Zacharie would love it here." He murmured as they once again dismounted Fraener. Hell, he was even enjoying it and he hated being out in the wilderness. "Vincent take note." He called over his shoulder as he crouched to inspect a few weeds growing by his feet. "I want to collect some samples of the local flora." Luckily he'd thought ahead enough to pack some containers that could hold them.

When they reached the hospital he pulled Vincent off to the side to wait quietly. They didn't know the injured person nor any of the people that they were meeting up with so there wasn't really any reason for them to be too close. Tepsichore anxiously weaved between his legs, her ears pressed flat against her head. She didn't like this place one bit, it seemed so sad and it smelled a bit funny.

Flynn sighed lightly but also nodded in understanding. "All right, I was heading up there anyway, so just follow me."

With that he started down the hall, figuring whoever wanted to come would follow.

Rosie nodded lightly, giving him a gentle thanks and moving to follow after him to where Yuri was recovering.
Glancing back toward the others, seeing if any of them were joining, and giving a silent invite to anyone who wished to see Yuri.

the Legendary drifted down slight at the pat from Luke, glancing back over at him as he explained why they were there.
At the mention that it might have something to do with the people that had attacked her.
With her eyes widened more before she quickly floated after Rosie and the blond man.

Akira smiled back weakly, but was not at all assured by Andre's smirk. Not that he didn't believe the purple-haired man, but he feared it would be the sort of excitement he wasn't looking for. As it turned out, both were right.

The brunet made note never to travel by pokemon again if he could help it. It was so jerky and unstable and since they were in the open air, he kept getting swatted in the face by things and having his clothing caught on various snags of foliage and other stuff. So much nature around meant that his allergies were acting up with the pollen in the air and such, so that even when he had Happa out to purify the air, his nose was red and and stuffy. The pokemon's ability could only deal with so much, after all, but at least it kept him from sneezing.

When they finally reached their destination, Akira was picking leaves and twigs out of his hair and sniffling when he heard Andre mention someone name Zacharie. This got him curious and he was about to ask before Andre called to Vincent. Akira had been extremely careful not to attract Vincent's attention to the best of his abilities for fear his resemblance to a certain girl at a salon and spa would be recognized.

This proved to be relatively easy, however, as from what Akira could tell, Vincent's attention never seemed to linger too long on one thing, and when it did, it was usually on Andre. That, though, meant that he couldn't really ask Andre about this Zacharie person without attracting Vincent's notice as well, so it would just have to wait. He walked on as the pair decided to collect samples of plants, eager to get away from one of the sources of his sinus discomfort.

The group entering the hospital followed after Rosie. Furrowing his brows at the exchange between her and a young man she called Flynn, he listened intently and watched one of their group talk to a boy with a bird pokemon in his lap. After a little while, they began to move down the hall toward Yuri's hospital room, nodding once when Rosie glanced back. He looked at Luke, who seemed to be comforting an interesting-shaped pokemon Akira had only seen in storybooks before - a Jirachi. So many mysteries to be answered, but only time would tell.

He waited for the pokemon and others to go on ahead before following after. It wasn't as if he knew Yuri all that well and it wouldn't be fair to be in the way of those who did.

When she had received the text from the others and sent her reply, Dove had removed herself from from Yuri's side--against most of her will-- and had placed herself in the hallway instead, still able to watch over him from her new post, but not in the immediate area. If there were multiple people coming to visit, it would do no good to have them all crowd in at once, and if talking were to be part of their visit, which again, she expected, she didn't want to disturb him.

Now, in a comfortable sweater and leggings, the girl sat waiting for them across from the man's room, her elbows on her knees as she curled in on herself as if she were cold. The previous days had taken their toll, and it would be obvious in the way she looked and held herself.

Jace's attention went from the blonde girl who had quietened down and left with Flynn to the young man in front of him, at which he blinked. Dawn gave an inviting, gentle trill at the man, then cuddled against her new boy's side. "Oh, uh... yeah! I just got caught her in the forest... My friend Henrietta caught one, too, but hers is all blue instead," he explained, his hands now busy working on opening his food.

For a second, his eyes wandered to the others in the group as he quietly took inventory of all the people, before his attention should be directed back to the man talking to him. At the sight of the smaller pokemon floating around the other red head boy's--Luke's?-- shoulders, his eyes widened hugely, and he found himself asking: "I-Is that a jirachi???"

The boy grinned at the bird pokémon, returning her greeting trill with a slight, whistling, mimic of it right back.
"Does she have a name?" Lin then pointed to the Snivy on his shoulder. "This is Jeeves, I'm Lin."

He blinked as Jace asked a question, and half turned to look.
Oh, yes, the floaty, star-headed pokémon; he was pretty sure that's what some called the strange, cute, shy-seeming thing...
"Uh. I think so." He admitted.

Henrietta was returning from the bathroom, Gummy trotting along behind, and had decided to check in on Dove and Yuri on her way back to the waiting area.
She'd be coming along from the other direction as the visiting group were approaching Yuri's room.

Leading them through the halls they would eventually come to the ICU where Dove was waiting.

"Hey..." Flynn called out to her. "Yuri has some visitors. Has anything changed?"

All was still and silent in Yuri's room save for the sounds of the machinery and his shallow breathing. He was not awake yet.

It wasn't a long way before she saw Dove standing in the hall, Rosie paused by the girl to look at her, able to see that the brunette was taking this hard, making Rosie worry that its worse then they expected.

She reached a hand out to the girls arm, giving her a small smile to try and encourage her, before she stepped into the room to see Yuri, glancing to Luke as she did so.
She knew Yuri was a friend to Luke, She hoped Luke would be okay being here. heavens knows he's had his fill of hospitals.

The Jirachi's eyes widened when again she felt the swooping amazement from an individual who recognized her, this from the child that the blond man had been standing by.
"That's what I've been told." she replied, blinking at him before she hurried long with the group.

It was quiet in the room. and the only person in it was laying asleep. the Jirachi tilted her head curiously, drifting after the people though keeping her eyes on the man on the bed.
People were mostly quiet when they were sleeping, this one was no acceptation, but a peaceful whisper of life, making it so that he was alive. Unlike dark types...

Rosie folded her arms around herself, stepping up to the foot of his bed.
"... Any word of who it was that attacked him?" She asked Flynn after a length of time.

She shook her head quietly at Flynn, looking over to the room and it's monitors for a brief second. "No... Nothing.." When the group approached, Dove stood from her seat quietly, nodding to Rosie to let her know the encouragement had been accepted and to tell her she was okay. She then led them into the room in silence, attempting to offer a weak smile to the rest of the group. She would talk with them later, when they weren't with Yuri.

Jace's eyes widened hugely as the pokemon spoke to him, and he followed the group, doing his best to see it over the heads of all the young adults in front of him.

Flynn came up next to Rosie and ran a hand through his hair. "No, I'm afraid the only ones that know are Yuri and the girl he was with." And... Well.

Yuri himself looked like a shadow of the man he usually was. His hair was covered to keep it out of the way, his skin pale. IV lines ran from both of his arms, and he was on oxygen as well to help him breathe easier. The soft steady bleep of the heart monitor served as a reminder that he was indeed alive.

Dith trooped along behind the group of younger folk, uncharacteristically quiet. Yuri he was worried about, yes, but he was confident that the young man was in safe hands; it was Ty he was still worrying about despite his best efforts to put out of mind what he couldn't change for the time being. At least unlike most of the others he was comfortable in the hospital environment; the smells and sounds were familiar and comforting, this was a place where he belonged. Of course it wasn't his hospital and so despite his distraction he found himself glancing around to pick up differences.

Spotting Dove the giant man offered a tight smile and a little raise of his hand in greeting, avoiding talking over anyone else so that he didn't miss anything important that might be said....

Mmmh, and people passing by were looking at him. Not all of them, of course not, because people in hospitals were busy but a fair number of strangers still glanced his way and now rather than having a brief stare at him in general their gazes tended to be directed to the patch where his eye wasn't... or was he perhaps just paranoid and being self pitying? Shaking himself mentally Dith focused on the people around him again, they were here for a purpose and he didn't intend to forget that.

a hand was placed over the blond's mouth at the mention of the girl that was with Yuri at the time this terrible thing happened to him, that she was not with him.
Terrified for the girl, and thinking of just what horrible things could have happened if she had been taken by the person who did this to Yuri.
"And there is still no word about Ty?"
