[FIN] To Make Them Smile

Yuri watched them going, nodding to Jace when he promised to keep the girls happy. Though when Dove paused at the end of his bed then came back, he looked up at silently. Though there was certainly a question in his dark eyes.

She met his eyes for only a few seconds, clearly deeply troubled, but shook her head, looking away. "I'm sorry... Um... I'll be back, okay?" she said lamely, not able to express what she felt just yet. He was so weak...

Yuri blinked at her, clearly seeing that she was troubled. However he didn't have the strength to argue nor the desire to deal with any drama at the moment. Thus he said nothing, intending to let it go for now.

Offering a small smile, she reached for his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before she followed Jace. "Get some rest..." she told him quietly. "We're not leaving you." Thry would stay close by, in case they were needed.

With that, she slowly let him go and headed quietly toward the door, sparing only a glance over her shoulder as she followed after Jace.

Yuri only nodded that he understood and then watched as she leaved. Sighing he relaxed and closed his eyes, drifting off into a deep healing sleep.
