[FIN] It Doesn't Get Better

Kyle had every intention of following through with the attack, but Luke moved in a way that he didn't expect.
Kyle had a split second to react as he suddenly found himself facing down a man with a sword in his hands, brandishing it at him that threatened harm.

"What the-!" Kyle thrust himself back, staggering with his own momentum and bringing himself to stand a healthy distance away from Luke.
yellow eyes wide, his mouth falling opened as he gaped at the read head, how without any question, holding a sword.
"What the hell?! A Sword? Are you for real?"

Well that wasn't going to bode well at all, Kyle though with a snort of disgust, how was he supposed to compete with a sword?

From the looks of it the girl that was with the other man didn't seem anymore pleased with this turn of events either, she was most definitely more pale hugging the sleeping Jirachi to her. she certainly didn't look like she knew what was quite going on. the thought of her ignorance made Kyle laugh.

"W wait, alright, h hold on, lets just calm down..." Rosie said, startled by the new attack, though her worry only grew as Luke drew his sword out against this man.

"No, it's a figment of your stupid imagination," Luke replied with a sarcastic bite, holding a posture that could attack or defend as needed. His voice was more level as he followed after Rosie's comment, saying nothing to Mieu to stop the Flareon's hostile growling, "Unlike some people, I don't hurt people for no reason. Keep walking and you won't have to see how 'real' I am."

"Oh come on," Kyle griped in real disappointment, lifting both his hands and letting them drop back into his pocket, a cold glare cutting back at Luke.

The Absol growled back at the Flareon, while the Sylveon remain coldly watchful or the boy, more then the pokemon with him.

"Oh cone on, I know you don't want to waist an opportunity like this, do you?" Kyle opened his arms up, taking a step forward, though clearly cautiously. "You want this as bad as I do I'm sure, and scaring me away won't change anything, I know you still hate me."
His face contorted with a flare of rage, practically bearing his teeth at Luke "Not nearly as much I HATE you! Now move your p***y sword you b***h."

He held his posture, his expression severe, "Do you not know what a sword does? I don't hurt people for no reason. Now, you can go the stupid route and give me a reason, or you can play it smart for once in your life and keep walking."

Kyle lingered where he was, returning a cold glare back at Luke as he wasn't getting the desired results.
Kyle wasn't stupid enough to go picking a fight with a sword, and it didn't seem like Luke was going to put it down either.

For a couple of silent seconds, Kyle weighed his options, he could try and get the sword out of his hand using his pokemon, but then that would invite the trainers to use their pokemon, and he was sure they had a bigger team them him, if they both ganged up on him... though he wasn't really expecting the girl to offer much. he would probably still be at a disadvantage, despite every muscle in his body wanting to lunge after Luke, sword or not. He might have if he thought Luke was bluffing.

severe eyes drifted sharply toward the girl, then back at Luke. "This isn't done." He growled, taking the step back that he advanced. "So don't think it is."

Luke didn't find it prudent to yield yet, remaining vigilant as his adversary took a step in withdrawal. He didn't like the idea of baring steel against a living target, but he disliked even less the idea of prematurely lowering his guard against an opponent he knew to be shameless and aggressive. He returned the glare hotly, awaiting a proper retreat.

How was this b*****d just letting this go. Of course Kyle wasn't stupid enough to go up against a sword, not with what he had with him now anyway.

Kyle was left with no choice, and it was with obvious seething that he turned, eying the duo closely as he continued to walk down the path from where he had come.

Rosie held his breath as he left, the two pokemon he had out with him following suite.
Though the further he got he gave a sudden outburst, a savage yell and his hands ripping off a branch from the tree where it was thrown to the ground in a violent rage. Rosie jumped at the reaction, though it was far enough away at this point to poise no threat the the trainers themselves.

As she started to breath again she found her words "What.. who was that?"

When the distance was enough that Luke no longer felt that they were threatened, he dropped his posture and returned his blade to its sheath, exhaling quietly and turning towards the direction they had been headed with a murmur to the empty space at his shoulder, "Keep an eye out, Lorelei." It didn't seem likely that he would suddenly come running up behind them or anything, but he wasn't entirely comfortable turning his back on a foe, especially one who was so obviously boiling with anger.

"That was the guy who attacked me in the forest a while back," Luke replied. "Guess he's got a grudge." Not that he was one to speak, considering he felt rather grudging about the man in turn, but he at least had the tact to restrain himself in front of bystanders.

"That was him?" Well that was unnerving, she was sure she spoke to him before during the time she called to find Luke.

It had been a quick encounter, but it had been no less frightening, glancing back at where the man had continued walking she turned with Luke, grateful to get moving again, and now feeling pretty anxious to get to the city.
"Should we call the police?"

Luke considered the suggestion with a thoughtful hum before nodding, "That probably wouldn't be a bad idea..." He wished he had thought of that before when he'd had the opportunity to subdue and restrain him, but he supposed giving a tip on general location was better than nothing.

"BULL s**t!" Kyle exclaimed, kicking a neck out and sending a spray of rocks to go careening into the woods.
"That smug little b*****d! I bet he thinks he won this time huh?" He continued to rant to his pokemon, The Absol looking a little unnerved and concerned, while the Sylveon with a quickened trot approached his trainer. who again picked up a fistful of stones and slammed them into the ground with various 'cracks' against the trees and rocks.

The Sylveon chimed

The Absol pointed out.

The Shiny glanced to her with a light hum, but as he considered it he looked back to Kyle. wavering ribbons reached out, snaking and coiling themselves around the man's arm, increasing the strength of his pull as Kyle tried to rip out of them, until the Sylveon frowned, giving one last tug and succeeding to her the man to jerk around and willingly go down onto one knee.

The Sylveon barked, trying to catch the man's eyes though they were wild and turned away, his breathing heavy with hatred. only getting his attention by propping his paws up onto the man's knee.
his hair was already falling out of place falling just barely over his brow red face flushed excited for two pale markings over the rise of his cheeks.
He said, using one ribbon to reach up and take a hold of Kyle's face, turning it back down the path where the two trainers had gone.

A focus came to Kyle's yellow eyes, his pokemon was glad he had caught on so quickly.
It wasn't anything Kyle wouldn't figure out on his own already, but is his Sylveon knew anything, it was that it took Kyle a while to calm down from a rage like that and actually come up with anything.

"You're right." Kyle growled, putting a hand on the pokemon's paw and pushing himself up. Like hell he was going to let that b*****d get away with this.
Ryan would just have to wait, served the p***k right for making him walk!

The Sylveon grinned, seemingly proud of himself at the Albsol, while Kyle got back up to his feet and march with purpose back up the road.

With a quick nod, Rosie freed one of her hands, so that she could reach for her hip where her gear was placed. her hands were shaking a little as she worked through the dials to get in contact with someone from the police in Sandelwood.

With a faint frown that quickly returned to a reassuring smile, he lifted an arm to place around her shoulders as she manipulated her gear. "Don't worry too much, okay? It's already behind us," he encouraged, hoping to put the whole encounter out of mind as soon as possible. It was a beautiful day, and he really hated the idea of that idiot jerk ruining it for them.

She looked at him as she lifted the phone to her ear, giving a nod to show that she understood "He just looked like he really wanted to hurt you." she managed to say quietly, before the phone was answered and she started talking into it.

Explaining the situation, Rosie giving details and location before she was finished.
"Okay.. thank you officer. we'll be here." She finished, hanging up the call and turning toward Luke a little more "They said they're on their way." she finished. "They want to get a report,"

Well, that was probably true, and Luke wouldn't have minded getting a punch on him either, but he wasn't about to mess around for the sake of his own satisfaction while Rosie was there, and using a sword against someone really wasn't something he could do in good conscience if it was just a childish fight to prove superiority.

He frowned his disappointment at her news, exhaling a faint sigh and bringing his fingers to the back of his neck. "Sorry about this."
