so... she's essentially an indentured servant then...

received a letter telling me i could find someone or something in this town that could give me answers as to who i am... i grew up an orphan at a distant parish from this town... and was actually raised to be a priest. however, when it became known that i may have a certain heritage that the church wasn't too fond of, i was pretty much kicked out of the parish. having nowhere else to go, i traveled to here, expecting whomever wrote the letter to find me, but after two years now, ive still yet to receive contact from whomever and have essentially been just getting by however i can with whatever odd jobs i could find...

he paused for a moment as he took a long swig of tea.

as far as skills go, aside from knowing how to basically be a priest, i've no trained talent, aside from a few basic things, like working a blacksmiths furnace and picking herbs and spices... i guess i just feel like my entire time here has just been a waste, yet i hesitate to leave now in case that person is looking for me still...

Renier stood up and dusted a few crumbs of cookie off himself.

i dunno... i might cry from happiness, or i might punch him and ask why i was left at that damn orphanage

he took out some money and and set on the table.

there should be plenty there for your time and extra... i'll probably be back again, but not for a while, i've got some things to think about by myself for a while... i may also have to go and polish another mans sword as an apology after i take care of his clothes... and most likely humiliate myself until he is satisfied for me making a mess all over him...

he sighed defeated and walked to the door, opening it.
