Lucius was shocked at how poorly things could go in a matter of minutes. First was his attempt to apologize to the lady with whom Zephyr had gotten mad at. The look scared him, and he just hoped everything else would not go as poorly as that. His attempt to stop being polite was quickly shot down in his presence. Lucius heard him say something about a first strike and lost a little hope. It was not long after that when Lucius failed miserably again. Instead of taking the seed, his partner refused to eat it. Lucius slid it back in his pocket, another time perhaps. That was when his second attempt at not being so polite failed again, leading to the second strike. Somehow the guy didn’t seem mad. It was fortunate really that he hadn’t punched Lucius in the face, but Lucius vowed to never let strike three occur. He could already feel the guy’s fist This is why I don’t hang around with people often, he thought to himself, I’m just not good with people. He started thinking about what he could do to make it up but could only think of sake. There had to be something else this guy liked besides that, but he probably wouldn’t care now.
Lucius stopped when he saw the guy enter the bar. Regardless of whether or not they were partners, he wasn’t just going to go into a random bar just to be by the guy’s side as he bought what would undoubtedly be sake. “I’ll meet you before we leave,” Lucius said as he walked off. Lucius walked the streets following a well-worn path that he had made with his grandfather many times before. He waved at one of the shopkeepers whom his mother knew and talked to her about how she was doing, which ended with Lucius promising to tell his mother that the two of them needed to go to a spy on Saturday. Lucius left the shop and kept walking until he came across a shop that blended in with every other store except for two features, the sign that read Scrolls and Ink across the top followed by the Uzumaki clan crest on the bottom. He pushed open the doors and walked inside finding the shop nearly empty as it usually was. The shop specialized in selling scrolls, tags, ink, brushes and any other supplies that would be particularly helpful to both sealing specialists in and out of the Uzumaki clan. As he walked through the shop, he looked at the scrolls along the wall, varying in height, with, and there were even those that had a few special surprises already built in. He picked out a multitude of items he liked before narrowing it down to a small assortment. First, Lucius bought two medium sized scrolls. Normally, these were used by weapon users to seal their weapons into, but there were always incredibly useful when making large seals. Next, he bought a contraption that looked somewhat like a gun holster. It had a space on both his left side to carry both the scrolls and two smaller pouches, on the back and a slightly larger on eon right. One for kunai and shuriken, and the slightly larger one for for sealing tags. The belt was given with a small scroll that fit into a small pouch in the very back that just allowed for more customization for the holder. Of course, the kunai and shuriken could always be removed to make room for more tags. Along with this, he bought a medium sized amount of sealing tags. He intended to use these for a majority of his sealing but he could never be too prepared. Finally, he purchased a small vial of ink and a brush to write the proper seals of his tags on.
After Lucius had walked up to the cashier, Lucius informed him of how he was stocking up before he had to go on a mission. He had known the family for who-knows-how-long and almost every Uzumaki visited the shop, so it was natural they would be close. He thanked the cashier before leaving and looking for someplace to eat. Lucius entered a nearby stand where they sold rice with chicken and vegetables. He sat down and ordered a small plate eating quickly before getting up and heading over to the gate. On his way their however, Lucius heard a burp and smelled the scent of sake drifting in from a nearby restaurant. He didn’t need to guess who it was as he was soon greeted by his six foot tall friend. He began walking quickly alongside him as he thought of what to say. “Err look I’m sorry if I offended you earlier that was not my intention.” Lucius hated apologizing normally but he felt it was needed. He just hoped that he didn’t think that was a show of weakness and punch of him in the face. But as he crossed the gate he liked the nickname “V” and decided he would keep it. He followed Zephyr into the trees and began leaping from branch to branch a few feet behind him. Eyes alert and searching for a reason to react and attack. He truly hoped that they could just progress with the mission and not get into any trouble. But with how things went in the Mist, Lucius understood that no matter how things regressed he couldn’t start anything. If they did start a battle in Kumogakure, who knows what type of ninja they will have and what could become of the Grass village as a result. Lucius pushed the negative thoughts out of mind and just kept focusing on searching around him. Looking for a single misplaced branch, a bush in the wrong spot, and he was already sensing. If a jutsu was activated he would know in a moment’s notice, and when that moment was over, Z and him would crush whoever used it to pieces; or at least he hoped so.

Description: By sealing a portion of their energy (which can be rested back to normal) into their shadow and allowing for the shadow to gather general energies from the nature around it, the Uzumaki can stock up to 40 energy in this shadow which can be used later in battle at any time by performing a simple handseal. This technique can be used at night or indoors and it overlaps other shadows; becoming as dark as possible as if to stand out. This -- however -- can make the user's movements more predictable, and this technique takes 1 post for only 1 chakra point, meaning it takes 40 whole posts TO STOCK up for later battle use.
