With his eyes closed, in a cross-legged position, Michio was finally finishing his preparation. As soon as the sounds of combat began raging around him, he knew that it was time to repel a true Barbarian assault. He was under the impression that--had they been more fervent in their attacks on the Barbarians--they wouldn't have had time to accrue these forces and launch an assault in this way. However, now was not the time for petty hindsight or retrospection. As his skin took on the dark, almost black features of his sage mode, that trademark metal dust began leaking from the new cracks in his body, quickly filling the immediate area with an eerily black haze. The barbarians within his immediate vicinity would already begin choking to death on the haze, which caused most anyone not within the cloud to immediately begin backtracking away as to avoid a sudden death. Concentrating a large amount of natural energy to his right arm, he then rested it upon Itsuwari's head. The transfer of natural energy was enough to unleash his power fully, the creature growing dozens of sizes larger to nearly the size of a Bijuu. With Xen atop the creature, he looked down upon the battlefield. Of course, having Itsuwari in this form made him an instant threat, but that didn't really matter.
"Alright, Itsuwari. it's time to show them our full potential. Let's go nuts." Michio then extended his palms before leaping from Itsuwari's head, entering a free-fall to the ground below. With an expenditure of his natural energy, the black dust around him suddenly swelled into a gigantic cloud, easily over one hundred feet in radius. As he plummeted to the ground, this cloud would begin to swirl around him like a drill; his natural manipulation abilities combining with the increased affinity of his sage mode turning him into a fierce weapon of manipulation. He slammed into the ground with this veil of metal shards, the blast force killing several of the low-level barbarians, and the sudden outburst of the dust--now even further extended to the natural creation from his strange new form--killed a rather significant number of their regimented forces. The immediate area was entirely Michio's playground now.
Any enemy within that cloud's radius would have suffocated to death in moments...save for one. Making a beeline through the cloud of metal was one particularly powerful chakra signature. And it didn't take long for Michio to feel the movement of an unknown substance through the ground, prompting a quick leap from him to dodge what would quickly become a small, forest-like area of bones. The opponent that had quickly taken notice of Michio was...Ryugan Kaguya.
Overhead, Itsuwari had used an extremely powerful, chakra-enhanced flapping of his wings to send a viciously powerful barrage of slicing air towards the enemy's forces, closer to the back where he was less likely to harm his allies. Because of his size, the radius of the technique was fearsome; it would take a joint effort from most of the low-level peons just to somewhat defend from the strength of the technique. It was becoming more and more clear that Michio's actions were drawing the notice of the commanders within the army; he was already engaged with one of them in combat, but how long would it take for the other two to pay attention?

Between vulgar insults, molten lava, and clay bombs, the unified efforts of the Ame Shinobi were doing considerably well in thinning the enemy numbers. However, there were still the three Generals to deal with; most of them were quite a lot stronger than the other shinobi they were facing. Kaisen was with the frontline troops, already well beyond the hidden Haze technique. It was around that time that a younger man seemed to start...speaking to them? Asking about being peaceful and why this conflict had to happen. In order to spare the boy's dignity--not to mention his life--Kaisen merely extended his palm, a Susanoo fist emerging to send the man--mike--flying far away from the group. "I have no interest in peace any more, boy. You've overstepped your boundaries, defied your rulers, and killed my people. Now you will suffer the same fate."
Kya's molten lava attack--because of its spread--would have partially been able to target Kaisen and his generals. However...with a motion of his hand, he was able to rather easily create an ice technique powerful enough to block the lava for little to no expenditure at all. The lava rained uselessly in front of him, proving ineffective. From there, he would put his focus onto Kya and her dragon temporarily, using this created ice to form another, obscure technique. A sphere of ice would begin to take shape in the palm of his hand, the translucent dome coming to well more than the size of his head before it flew into the rest of the ice, absorbing it before flying into the air.
This large sphere of ice would begin raining an innumerable number of ice spears at Kya and Intet. There was no telling how long this barrage would last, but it was likely to do so until the sphere itself was destroyed. An S-rank sphere of ice, filled to the brim with death and destruction. How would she respond?
This time, it was Sunso's turn. Looking to the sky, he noted the presence of Armand and that Hyuuga girl on their clay bird. That was simple enough to take care of. After forming just a few short hand seals, Sunso created God's Snare--a cage of light--around his immediate area, stretching tall enough to capture the bird riders, as well as Cecil and Ranmori. From there, the man would merely aim a well-placed fist at the clay bird, launching a number of light spears into the sky. At first, it would appear that the spears were making a direct beeline for the bird, but as they arced out and flew into the sky, it was shown that their purpose was much more nefarious. In a strangely well-calculated move on Sunso's part, the spears would then rain from the sky onto the pair--a few of them also managing to target Ranmori and Cecil--in a much larger multiple. Around twenty spears of light in total. Between the pair, they most likely had a means of defending against an aerial attack. Hopefully.
As for Ryugan, he was already having a pretty good time against Michio. Bullets of bone and metal flying around in a pretty intense dance. Were it not for the cover of the haze and his ability to detect movements with his dust and with the ground, Michio would have likely already been dead. Ryugan was a powerful physical contender with the ability to dodge most of his strikes, and Michio was a dedicated caster.
What neither one of them expected--to be honest--was the sound of whistling air as Michael Uzumaki started his descent from being blasted away by Kaisen. As soon as Michael entered his field of dust, Michio created a sort of landing softening pad before opening a path for Michael to get out of the dust, securing his landing and exit. It seemed that the matches were set; Kya vs. Kaisen, Armand plus three versus Sunso, and Michio/Mike versus Ryugan. But what would Masako do?
Things were turning back, ever slowly, ever slightly. The sound of men screaming from being melted down below layers of acid came in waves, the sound of men impaled on stones rang out in a chorus. Kya barely batted an eyelash as smoke rose from her and her dragon's mouths at once. As their attacks collided with the wall of ice, she was not too surprised to see that it had no effect besides spreading more of her henrir and clearing the path between her and her Quarry. She could sense he was doing something, and she looked upon him as he formed the ball of ice. As it ascended she watched carefully, not sure what to expect. She hadn't heard of him before but she could feel his strength. She, however, was unmoved by the danger she was in. This kind of excitement was what she was actually hoping for. The ball reached it's apex, and Kya opened her eyes wide, tapping Intet's head. He backed up, flapping his wings to create distance as the hail of needles barely missed him. He jumped backwards once more as she realized that it was tracking her, and realized intet was going to need to get airbourne. He flapped his wings, turning quickly into a better position as a few needles nearly hit his tail and he accelerated to full speed quickly. Kya eyed the sphere, not really sure what she was going to do about it.
As they narrowly avoided the rain of doom, she had an idea. She grabbed his horns and focused on gathering natural energy as intet flew like a bullet towards the ground, beginning to be consumed by flame. They came right up on a group of the barbarians and just before she broke the skyline of lowrise buildings she emerged from the ball of fire much faster than before, flying on jets of flames from the bottom of her feet and hands. A black sword was in one hand, the other a white sheild, and rather than attack she simply flew right past the barbarians, bringing the icy rain down on them. She flew straight towards the barbarians, moving at top speed, faster than most of them could keep up with and barely higher than they could jump. She was bringing the rain of ice down around them instead of simply handling it, though it would appear she was only trying to escape the downpour.She saw a cage of light erupt one way, and in the other a blast of wind, dust, metal and bone could be seen flying through the air. She ignored both as she began to ascend. She needed to take care of that ice ball now. It was getting annoying and she wasn't going to be able to hold dragon inverse forever. She pushed herself up and a shower of neon purple shards collected themselves coming from the left as she moved right. The ethereal form of her dragon appeared with a blast of wind, S ranked in power, aimed to tear through the ball of ice and destroy it. Once this was done the dragon's form would disappear and Kya would seem to become covered in a layer of volatile energy, flying downward right for Kaisen. The firecracker skill, SS ranked in power, was now threatening her prey. Once she arrived that energy armor would turn into an explosion of flames in his immediate vicinity.

Technique
Firecracker C-S The Lydian will catapult to a location, gaining energy-armor around them while they move to their location. Upon reaching it, they will destroy the ground near them and release a massive torrent of black flames outward.
Dragon: Breathe In To Me Passive [S In power] The summoner and the dragons may both use elemental breaths. The options are Molten Flame, Paralysis Shock, Poison Dust, Razor Wind and Cryogenic Ice. These breaths all take elemental properties, meaning they gain a +1 to their counter element and a -1 to the element that counters them. The breath will persist for the entire post and will be very quick, regardless of which breath chosen. The effects of the breaths are what is implied.
The breath is passive, but chakra can be applied to make it a certain rank. It cannot be SSS rank. The size is parallel to what you'd expect from the fiery breath of your average Western dragon.
The summoner's dragon has two different types of breath that they can alternate through.

Michael had no time to react to the punch and was sent several feet in the air. As he came back down he thought about the ways he could save himself but none came to mind, but when he landed it felt like he only fell a couple inches not several feet. He would then brush himself off as best he could of all the blood and guts and get away from the metallic cloud. Glad he had the mist vision he was able to see and would stop thinking of peace but how to end this massacre. His sharingan would spin to life as he viewed his new opponent and then it began. Kunai and senbon on were thrown at him with the utmost precision and each kunai were attached to exploding tags. After that he would pull out a windmill shuriken and toss that as well at the enemy. "How dare y'all attack my Village! I am Michael Uzumaki-Uchiha and I will not stop until my Village is safe. Do you hear me, you're time has come and my hand will help send you to the afterlife"

With things beginning to escalate and powerful jutsu being thrown about like nobodies business Setsuko decided that now wasn't the time for a paddle. Jumping up Setsuko used the wall walking technique to move out of the area. For now she would just watch and perhaps see something enjoyable.

Armand gritted his teeth as the cage of light began to seal them all in. Like they were in some sort of arena for a show. Still, the cage was tall. There would be ample room for them to move and fly. "Miss Im, you're my second set of eyes. Call out attacks if you see them, and if anybody on our side gets wounded, tell me where to drop you."
Sharingan guiding the Amekage, he looked at the incoming spears of light and prepared a defense, only to react to them beginning to arc out and strike from above. Clever. Not only that, but they were fast. "Hold on, Miss Im." Armand instructed, rather calmly. The bird ceased its flight, dropping into a sharp nose dive towards the ground until just a short distance away from Sunso, then opening its wings and suddenly shifting its angle to a very jarring "stop".
Whether the spears of light were being guided or just falling towards them, Armand would mould some of the clay in his hands and ready up for an attack. With the bird now "stopped" (read: catching air and suddenly slowing its descent), Armand would activate a handseal-less "Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)", launching the bird forward at a great speed over Sunso.
His goal was to distract Sunso with the movement of the bird and, hopefully, light spears of his own making come back at him. Meanwhile, he would try to nonchalantly dropped an armed, but not yet active C3 charge on the ground. Another, simplified set of handseals, hopefully out of view, would create an earth clone under the surface of the earth, would attempt to grab it and hide it until the right moment.
As high up in the sky as Hana was, she didn't have the eyes to make out specific details on the battlefield below them. However, she could sense that in the mass trapped within the light cage, there were only two identifiable sources of chakra. The others sources were strangers, enemies in this situation. "We've only got two others trapped in this cage with us. I believe their names are Cecil and Ranmori?" Hana reported. She'd only met them in passing or during medical checkups, never formally. However, like any medic, she had to be prepared to work with anyone.
Without skipping a beat after reporting her observations, Hana grabbed a few strands of Armand's hair, "If you'll excuse me, please," and then forcefully pulled the strands out. She neatly folded them and stored them someplace safe where she could find them quickly.
Then came the Amekage's warning to hold on tight, which Hana did with her considerable, for a genin, strength. There was little she could do during the entire maneuver but hold on tight, but she got a picture of what the Amekage was planning to do thanks to her sensory abilities. "Sir!" she raised her voice so that it would be heard above the sound of the rushing wind, "The man we just passed is a Joukai-Kaguya."

Masako Chiru - Medical - BSS/Chiru - Gennin Mood - Torn and Conflicted. Distraught over the number of dead Thoughts - Time to play the hero? Or to play the silent legend? Theme -
It seemed that the battle was finally starting to breakdown into a series of smaller conflicts scattered through out the village. There seemed to be three main generals, each in charge of a different area, all of whom were currently engaged in combat. In one section, Kya and her foe seemed to be happy to level half the city. Masako wasn't sure if Kya was trying to protect the village and save lives or trying to help the enemy kill them all. It was however entertaining her target. While it seemed that she could stand a chance, they were on completely different levels. If Kya was considered strong, then her opponent was a god. His own power dwarfed any power in the village and he seemed to be able to freely create his attacks without concentrating at all. Kya would most likely only continue to live as long as she entertained him. Everyone else needed to finish their fight as soon as possible so that they could concentrate their efforts on him. With any real luck, they could convince him to leave. Hopefully.
In another area of the city, Armand and company appeared to be battling another one of the generals. This one was not as strong as the apparent leader, but would still be a hard battle. He was still rather strong and exceedingly fast, yet he didn't seem to excel in either region. He had both long range and short range attacks, but they seemed to be independent of each other. He could be overwhelmed very quickly so long as Armand and his group could keep him a fair distance away. It would be difficult however as they seemed to be trapped in a cage with him. If they wanted to escape, they needed to wear out their attacker as quickly as possible. They did have a good chance of beating him. If they didn't it would certainly surprise her. Cecil should take up a position in the front with Ranmori launching harassing attacks. Armand would then be free to continually bomb him from a distance while protecting Hana.
FInally, Masako turned her attention to the final battle that was already beginning to unfold. This one seemed to be the most difficult of them all. Michio and Mike against the same kind of fighter that Armand and his gang was busy engaging. They were not actually trapped like the other group, but instead were fighting off volley after volley of attacks, and Mike was coming down out of orbit, which appeared to do nothing to dampen his personality as he was once again calling for peace despite the fact that thousands were already dead at his feet.If seemed that nothing would ever be able to get him down and depressed. Their group seemed to be okay, all things considered. As long as Michio kept it a long range and mobile fight and prevented him opponent from caging him in, he could rain down on him with little to no danger at all. His only handicap was keeping Mike safe as he lacked the speed and mobility that Michio possessed. With everything unfolding quickly, it was becoming apparent that each group should know the current position and status of the other, or at least Armand and Michio's group as Masako wasn't going anywhere near Kya for the time being. She knew better then to get in the way of someone showing off.
Instead, Masako jumped from vantage point, landing and taking off in a sprint. The streets were mostly clear of civilians now. The village security was engaged in smaller fights with barbarians all across the village. Masako skipped and dodged her way through the smaller battles until she reached her destination, the central communications building. A number of loud speakers dotted the village, primarily for emergency notifications and crisis management, it was a wonder that the sirens and messages from the building hadn't been blaring non-stop. It only took a couple of moments to realize why. A number of bodies and slash marks marked the doorway to the main control room. Blood covered most of the controls. Dried blood. This had most likely been one of the first targets to be attacked when the village had been entered. Masako moved a body out of the way, pushing the door shut and sliding a desk to block off the door. With the room partially secure, she set about powering up the aging intercom system. The first speaker she cut on was located near Armand and his group. While he wouldn't be able to reply, she could at least inform him of the current situation. "Lord Amekage, this is Nightshade. Barbarian forces have breached the village in multiple locations. I am currently organizing the remaining village security and police to set up a safe area in the center of the village. You are currently engaged with one of the three barbarian generals. Michio and Michael Uzumaki are fighting another, with Kya fighting the lead general. You opponent appears to be capable of manipulating light as well as his own bone structure. I will continue to provide updates as they come in. Nightshade out." She cut off his speaker in an attempt to preserve what little power the village had left and flicked out a speaker near Michio. "Michio come in, this is Nightshade. Your current opponent appears to be able to manipulate light and his own anatomical structure. Recommend extreme caution. The Amekage and his squad are currently engaging a similar foe to your south. If possible, slow and delay your target and link up with reinforcements." Once more, the speaker would cut off immediately after the transmission. Masako backed away from the control panel now, instead turning her attention to the door. If the barbarians were any smart, it was only a matter of time until one of them went to go see why the speakers were suddenly working again.
Obligatory "I need to quote you so you realize that we are still rping and that it is in fact still your turn to post" quote. This means you. Specifically you, who actually knows that it is your turn.
Raphael watched as the battle unfolded around him moving and firing at lower barbarians that would be around his rank, but definitely not at his level. At that time, he was caught along with Cecil, the Amekage, and Hana. The Amekage, immediately took control of the situation and took to the barb that launched this cage as well as the spears of light descending upon them. He smirked at Cecil. "Well, you take the foot soldiers and I will handle the skies." He said as he took a step out and fired into the air above him and sent another towards Susuno's heart. The first arrow morphed into a ethereal dragon and protected the immediate area around Raph and Cecil, the other moved at immense speed towards its target. "Armand! Can I get some guidance here!?" Raphael asked as he took noticed of the Amekage's fuuton attribute.
With the main threat to them taken care of, the other barbarians weren't so lucky as some of the light spears would kill a lot of them, after all, they did get caught in the cage as well after Raphe's insulting call outs about their mothers 'servicing' him. He pointed his next arrow towards the hoard of them and fired releasing a mass of oil upon one igniting him in a A.O.E. blast of fire consuming all near him as well turning the mass of them into a mini-sun. This sun would continue to spread outwards like a solar flare utterly destroying everything in its path in fiery bliss. It was at this time that Masako's voice would begin to tell them over the loud speaker information about their attacker. Her abilities were unknown to Raphael, but it would have seem that she could sense something from the enemy unless she had other means of intel gathering. 'Uses light, eh?' He wondered to himself as he extended his left hand into the air. "Raijin, give me strength!!" He called out to the heavens as the clouds begun to gather and block out any rays of light from the sky blanketing the field in darkness.

As Escher came from the clearing within the forest. It would seem as though he had stepped into something, but it was apparent as he could see the chakra of many smaller unit falling to a group of ninja from the rain village. It did not take long for Escher to understand the situation. It would seem that the barbarians were no match for the ninja. Of course that would explain the large quantity of them. They still believed in the idea of strength in numbers, and while that may be a good means for trying to overtake a small group of people, one well-trained ninja could easily amount to a small army. But it would seem that there were quite a few barbarians who held quite a measure of strength and had engaged quite a few of the Rain ninja in battle and to confirm that there was a voice over some sort of loud speaker, giving out all the information of the battle that had sprang up around the village.
It was here that Escher sighed and lowered his hood. His shoulder length silver hair falling into place. His purple-wavy eye, reading the field as he prepared his course of attack. He started with charging an electrical current through his hands as he produced two 3' rods, one for each of hand. The current passed through his hand to the rods and once he was ready Escher was off, sprinting forwards.
He had planned to help thin the numbers even farther so the others can focus solely on there fight. Heading towards back of the barbarian army to prevent them from coming to the aid of their leaders. He entered the fray as he spun and struck two of the barbarians in the head, grabbing the attention of those around. As they focused in on the young ninja, he lashed out. He planned out each attack quickly as he read the chakras of his enemies. Catching an enemy in the neck, then side-stepping a vertical slash and responding with a roundhouse to his attacker. As he regained his balance, he impaled a barb who was charging at him with his weapon raised. Escher smiled at the dying man and let him fall off his weapon onto the floor. Watching helplessly as their numbers dwindle, the rest of the barb seem to take two steps back with every move made. Be it by him taking out what left of them or the other Ame Ninja taking out the rest. Though some made it to the village and other lay on the wet ground dead or dying, it would seem that the Barbarian army was almost gone. The real challenge was with the three leaders and Escher could not help but wonder if he should lend a hand or not and if he did, would he be in the way. As he pondered, he turned to the rest of his group of Barbs, "So, what happened to strength in numbers?" He mocked as he stepped forward to finish what he started

•••• Skills Used: Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill) Description: An overall simple yet very effective technique, the Cloud-nin creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his own weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.

Between a pathetic attempt to thin out his forces and what could only be described as an overly gaudy pyrotechnics display, Kaisen wasn't sure whether he wanted to kill them all or enslave them and turn them into his own personal circus. He was growing particularly found of the monkey and her lizard. As Kya hurtled out of the sky towards Kaisen, he simply moved a short distance away from impact location, and crafted a barrier of ice between him and explosion. His little monkey had made a mistake, she was now on the ground near him. As the smoke began to clear around them, mirrors would spring up on all sides of Kya. Before she even knew it, she would be trapped in his prison. (As you are technically a gennin, you can't actually cast S or SS rank attacks, check the master system rules if you don't believe me, so you are trapped and stuck in here until someone comes to save you.) Kaisen slipped into the mirror, darting between, playing with Kya as he created small ice shuriken to throw and torture her with.
Sunso was thoroughly enjoying himself with his caged play things. They scurried about like little mice, scrambling to find a way out. It was a worthless attempt. He had been expecting an actual fight, but it seemed that Kaisen had gotten the only fun one. Two in the sky and two on the ground. The one controlling the bird seemed to be in charge of the group. Without him, how quickly would they crumble? As Armand was busy whirling around, dodging spears of light, two bodies would form out of the ground in front of Sunso. While they would appear like normal clones, they were much more powerful. Hana would notice that one possessed S rank chakra, while the other had A rank chakra, and that they possessed a rather advanced chakra network, much like a normal body. They were Sunso's crowning achievement, the Sand Wraiths. The stronger of the wraiths turned his attention to Armand and his now suicidal charge towards Sunso. The wraith charged at Armand, playing a suicidal game of chicken. An additonal layer of sand formed around the wraith as it jumped onto Armand's bird. Almost immediately, the extra layer of sand latched itself to the bird, eating away at it rapidly as the Wraith grabbed for Armand and Hana with the same intention. Any contact with the sand would prove to be dangerous.
The second wraith turned its attention to Cecil and Ranmori. A wall of sand appeared in front of the wraith, absorbing the bolt that was aimed at Sunso before sinking back into the ground. The wraith watched with mild curiosity as the gennin attempted to block powerful light spears with an unranked (?) crossbow bolt technique. What was even more interesting was that he was trying to block out the light by using clouds. It seemed that he didn't understand that the source of the light was coming from Sunso's own chakra and that no amount of clouds would block it out. While the pair thought of some way to block the light, the wraith attacked. Without moving from his position, he slammed his palm on the ground. Without some form of advanced sensory technique, they wouldn't notice what was actually happening. The wraith was in fact building an explosive charge of sand under their very feet that would erupt upwards in seven different locations. The first was placed between Ranmori and Cecil to separate them from each other, with three more charges under each of them to finish them off.
As for Ryugan, he felt like he got the short end of the stick. Only two little play things and they had barely bothered to even attack him. He held up his hand, launching dozens of bone shuriken to knock Mike's own shuriken out of the air, well before they got to him. He then formed a lance of solid bone on his arm, thrusting it forward to shatter the demon wind shuriken. He then used the Dance of Young Ferns to create a large amount of bone trees, causing them to shoot up from beneath Mike and Michio in an attempt to impale them. While they focused on the ground however, another attack came from above in the form of 40 S rank light spears raining down on them.
Now, while helpful, Masako's broadcast did have a negative effect. It seemed that a number of barbarians were able to deduce that the building with the big a** antenna sticking out of it was the central broadcast office and decided to pay a visit to whoever was using the facility to send messages to their comrades. In all, 4 different barbarians entered the facility, all grossly more powerful then poor little Masako. They all entered the building from different entrances and only one proceeded to the broadcast room, bashing in the door in a rather crude fashion.
Escher would find himself confronted by his own challenge. His taunting had drawn the attention of one of the lower ranking field commanders, a powerful brute with skills to match. He lumbered towards Escher, wielding a club in one hand a crude shield in the other. When he was finally upon Escher he swung with his club, but instead of following through, he released it to draw Escher's attention. The real attack would come in the form of a series of explosive tags on outside of the shield, which the brute was swinging full force towards Escher's head.

Name: Sabaku Kousenchitai no Jutsu (Desert Warzone) S Rank in power Description: Much like the Sabaku Bakuhatsu (Desert Explosion), the user punches the ground and sends a wave of chakra through it, resulting in an explosion of sand at a location desired by the user. Where this technique differs is what occurs after the explosion. Instead of the technique simply ending, the wave of chakra sent beneath the ground instead forks, causing two more explosions with even greater intensity than the previous one, and each of those fork once again, resulting in four more even larger explosions, for a total of seven explosions.
Name: Suna no Kusari (Sands of Decay) SS in power Description: A more advanced version of the parasite sand and far more dangerous. When the sands of decay touch something, they begin to eat it away like an acid. The chemical reactions in living organisms slow down this process but non-organic objects are quickly eaten away. The sand does not simply eat away at what it touches but actually continues to spread slowly along whatever it is currently devouring. Getting infected areas wet will stop the spread. So pouring a water bucket over your body will turn it back to normal sand. the sands of decay is not used on other jutsu. It transforms enough sand to use up to a chuunin sized jutsu.
• Ice Manipulation: Barrier E-S SS in power Description: By quickly creating an ice barrier out of the moisture in the air or by nearby water, the user is capable of defending against jutsus its rank and below. Katon jutsus must be two ranks higher to destroy. This manipulation is almost instant, taking very little time to form to protect the user.
• Makyou Hyoushou (Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors) A S in power Description: The user can create a dome of twenty-one mirrors made out of ice to trap an opponent. Twelve remain at ground level, eight are placed above the first twelve and angled toward the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground. The user can then enter one of the mirrors and instantly transport to another mirror. If the mirror the user is in is broken, he can leap out of one of the fragments and continue his attack or move to another mirror. The mirrors are able to resist fire techniques almost completely. For every turn that the mirrors are used, subtract 10 chakra points.
The second wraith turned its attention to Cecil and Ranmori. A wall of sand appeared in front of the wraith, absorbing the bolt that was aimed at Sunso before sinking back into the ground. The wraith watched with mild curiosity as the gennin attempted to block powerful light spears with an unranked (?) crossbow bolt technique. What was even more interesting was that he was trying to block out the light by using clouds. It seemed that he didn't understand that the source of the light was coming from Sunso's own chakra and that no amount of clouds would block it out. While the pair thought of some way to block the light, the wraith attacked. Without moving from his position, he slammed his palm on the ground. Without some form of advanced sensory technique, they wouldn't notice what was actually happening. The wraith was in fact building an explosive charge of sand under their very feet that would erupt upwards in seven different locations. The first was placed between Ranmori and Cecil to separate them from each other, with three more charges under each of them to finish them off.
[[I would like to request information about this opponent. For a story arc, you guys still have failed to provide a baseline for the arc here. Like ranks of the barbarian, their own person profiles and such. How would one know what rank the barb is? I don't know whats going on right now or even the understanding of any of the opponents. Also wanted to note that if he is indeed a Jokai, not to forget his fear or natural aversion to darkness. Not to mention the process for creating the wraiths.....]]
As the bolt flew towards Sunso, the wraith would create a wall of sand between them, but unknown to Sunso this was no ordinary bolt as it would continue to fly through the sand and even through the sand wraith of which was made out of completely sand. This was the arrow of the Phantom Dragon and would only stop when it has met the flesh of its target, all other things none human would cause the arrow to phase straight through it. The most important thing to remember here was the order of which arrows were fired. The Evolution of the first arrow as a solid dragon to act as a scapegoat to the spears of light and the phantom to attack one who seem to clearly not know about the Dragon crossbow in Raphael's hand.
Being of the Raiken/Ranton family, Raphael didn't need to look to the skies for his clouds to form over the field leaving the only current source of light was from the village and the mini sun near them. Granted Sunso dodged the arrow or found a means to get rid of it, the wraith would continue to act independently (assumingly). When it slammed his palm against the solid rock ground, it was still very intriguing of how one would turn wet stone and constant raining environment into a means to produce sand that first would have to be constructed around them in this densely wetland environment. The first "sand" explosion between him and Cecil would cause a point of startle only for a millisecond as the natural instincts of a Samurai would kick in as he would witness the technique from the beginning at a frame by frame cause him to react by firing an arrow at the ground aim to propel Raphael high into the air away from his initial standing point just as the forking of the sand would occur exploding first at the location he was at last. Raphael continued to move in directions that the forked explosions would not or would not likely to fork too.

As Escher finished off the last of the group he was with, he turned as a brute was heading his way. He straightened up and stared down his new opponent as he came within range of his club. As he raised it, Escher side-stepped to dodge but it was a lead to his next attack. As he moved his shield forward, Escher noted the tags and reacted. He quickly jammed his rods into the ground and made a seal.
In the distance, a brilliant explosion can be seen on the battlefield. From the smoke and embers came Escher, leaping back from the point of explosion. He was still holding the seal he had made earlier. When he land he released it and two black orbs, made of pure chakra, headed towards him. He had summoned two of his Guoudama. He had used them to create a wall between him and the shield. His leaf robes were scorched and tattered and he quickly removed it, leaving him with his red medium sleeved shirt and black pants. Escher shifted one of his Guoudama in from of him and kicked it forward, putting a spiral on it to give it spin. As it spun toward the brute it started to take the shape of a drill. He then produced to more rods, charging them both with electricity before charging the brute, readying to strike at his legs to cripple him.

•••• Skills Used: Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill) Description: An overall simple yet very effective technique, the Cloud-nin creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his own weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.
Michael was astonished at how he had defended against all of his thrown projectiles. It was then a decent sized tremor beneath the earth nearly threw Michael off balance causing the young genin to look up, it was then he saw the light spears. He knew there wasn't enough time to run without aid and then there was Michio, who possibly didn't know about the light spears, all of this flashing through his mind in milliseconds. So after a rather quick flash of hand seals his right hand became a loud chirping ball of electricity, but the actual attack was not what he was using but the speed boost it gave. Taking off at a now 6 speed he used his left hand to grab his associate and dodge the 40 spears falling and the bone forest. When he was away from the spears and forest he would drop Michio out of the way and charge straight at the Barbarians back and attempt to land a strike in the direct center.
