[FIN] Time Well Spent.

Kailee smiled softly at the nod. "Good... So its going to be completely painless and it will look nice." She reached for her camera. She wasnt a great photographer but she could take decent photos and so with the really expensive camera she would be able to hopefully get something good. "I want to get the rest of his pokemon to take pictures of them... I was thinking that he could use something like that for while hes in there... And since he wont tell me his birthday i figure it doesnt matter when i bring it to him." She smiled. "But if i can do this all tonight it will lessen the likelihood that i will get caught... " She had thought to bring char in but there was a reason that he wasnt there already.

Boo did a small flip. Anura nodded her head.

Smiling at them talking she pulled a black sheet and hung it from hooks on the wall. "We can do you first if you are willing... Ill put you in this frame." She pointed. "So... maybe... sit facing the door and then look over your shoulder back at me?" She grinned and nodded encouragingly.

Tortie considered the request for a few moments before huffing and stalking over to the area Kailee indicated, she guessed Aulus might like pictures to have next to him while he was stuck in that horrible weird-smelling place. she said to Boo, allowing her hackles to drop and grooming one of her paws briefly. There was the far future, the future, the present, the past and the far past; she understood humans saw it in more detail than that but she'd never needed or cared to do so.

With another huff the Absol shifted to face the door and looked back at Kailee, trying to school her features into something that wasn't too disdainful.

Boo nodded and kinda twirled a bit. He looked at her sadly. Boo did something of a shrug. Boo settled near the bed and looked to what Kailee was doing.

Kailee smiled to see the Absol comply. She raised the camera. "Its gonna make a bunch of clicks...." She was saying this just because the first time she took Anura's picture she had freaked out. She clicked the button and the flash went and so did the shutters, taking multiple shots. She pulled her camera away to look at the pictures it took. She deleted a few and saved two. "Ok... Which do you like?" She turned it so that Tortie could see them. They looked similar, "I like the second one... " The absol's eyes had shifted up just a bit for that one.

Tortie thought 'No s**t Sherlock' as Kaliee warned her about the noise but didn't say anything so as not to spoil the pictures. <She was sad?> the Absol said incredulously once the pictures had finished. She had made him cry! Logically she knew that it wasn't really the girl's fault but logic was more or less bottom of her agenda right now, all that mattered was protecting her best friend as best she could. She'd failed him badly enough as it was.

Huffing and fluffing up her mane again she stalked over to look at the pictures.

They looked like her.

She looked at Kailee and shrugged. Aulus had a great fascination with images too, he'd spend hours waiting for a perfect picture and then take hundreds of them and sift through agonizing over which one was the best when the differences were so minute as to be completely inconsequential to Tortie. She loved him though even if he was incomprehensible sometimes; right now she'd give anything to be sitting with him on a windy hilltop watching him sift and listening to him cuss creatively.

Anura had put her hands over her ear(spots?) as the shutters went. Boo nodded as Tortie asked that and frowned. Boo frowned. Boo Huffed. He was getting mad at a dark type... oh... that was smart.

Kailee frowned at the tone Boo was taking. "Stop it Boo! Tortie is our guest and doing us a favor. So be nice." Boo looked between the two and huffed. She frowned at the ghost. He was usually so happy.

She smiled at Tortie looking at the pictures. "Im gonna go with this one... Do you think you can get his other pokemon for me? Put in a good word so maybe they will help me?" She offered Aulus' dex to the absol as a sign of good faith. She would need to send boo to get her own back but she needed tortie to help.

Tortie gave a snort of disdain to Boo.

The girl was currently trying to do something nice though and it was in Aulus' interest, and therefore in her interest, to see it came to fruition.

the Absol said, nodding to Kailee and then jerking her head at the door before taking the dex carefully in her teeth and moving towards it herself.

Boo frowned. Not angry. He wasnt as huffy he was more just asking.

Kailee smiled and took down her black sheet to take with her. Grabbed her Camera and then scooped up Anura. She grinned and headed to the door to open it for Tortie. "Thanks for doing this... You cant tell him ok..." She gave the absol a kind of, 'i know you guys can about good as have a full conversation', look. She smiled "Ok lead the way." She glanced up noting that boo was hesitating but then followed along.

Tortie grinned at Boo around the dex. It was not a very nice grin. she asked rhetorically, slightly muffled.

Reaching the end of the corridor Kailee's room was on Tortie shoved her way onto the stairwell and started heading upwards. she said to Kailee with a glance up at the blonde, Aulus had been a bit out of it the first few days but for the most part his brain seemed to be working okay again now, a fact she was extremely grateful for. Much better to lose a limb than to lose him, she'd heard the doctors talking when everyone was first brought in and there had been some concern that a few of them might wake up damaged. Hopefully Alex and Tam were okay too; she'd resented the pair of them deeply when they'd first become friends with Aulus but only because she hadn't been used to sharing his affection, now that she'd adjusted she quite liked the pair of them and she knew Aulus would be heartbroken if they weren't okay.

Boo spun. What was he... a psychiatrist? He floated along after them.

Kailee glanced to the grin. "Boo... If you cant be nice its back to the ball for you.." The pokemon in her arms wiggled. She shifted Anura a bit and caught the door to follow the absol.

No... it wasnt and she fully expected him to be mad... and tell her she was a horrible person and that he never wanted to talk to her again... She stopped thinking about that a moment. She was breaking into his room... with the help of his pokemon mind you... but breaking in none the less and she was going to let the pokemon out and take pictures... then put them all back sneak back out and give him a gift... He would probably think cheesy... She glanced up and walked up the stairs catching up to Tortie. "Maybe... This isnt..." She glanced to her pokemon and then to Tortie and then frowned. "Well... Why not... Im already this far..."

Tortie snorted and shook her head, passing by the training floor and heading on up to the floor where she lived. she replied to Boo. And hot showers or baths, and sleeping in the sun with somebody she cared about close by, and other things like that but those things didn't go with her image and so she kept quiet. Aulus was right, you couldn't trust most people; they either took advantage of you or accidentally exposed your weaknesses to others, who then took advantage of you.

Reaching the floor that housed Agents and Elites Tortie shoved the door open with her shoulder and stepped onto the corridor, pausing for a moment to get her bearings - this wasn't the stairwell she was used to - before turning to the left and setting off again.

Kailee's mumblings were more or less ignored.

Boo bounced. Absols were Cat like? So thats what she got from him. Well he would try and be civil... He was generally more nice that not.

Kailee smiled and just simply followed until they reached the door to Aulus room.

Tortie replied, but she was obviously being sarcastic. For the record it was nearly any kind of fish - raw or smoked - with cream cheese.

They turned down another corridor then, and then down another, but it wasn't too long before Tortie came to a halt outside one of the rooms and lent up to present the dex to the scanner outside it. When the scanner made a 'bleep!' of acknowledgement Tortie looked up at Kailee and jerked her head towards the door.

Boo just blinked. He floated over to Kailee and snuggled against her trying to get back on her good side. Afterall Kailee already had her orders for Aulus... Tortie was getting a salmon infused Cheesecake...

Kailee laughed and pet boo, as best she could. She followed Tortie and when the absol stopped to scan the dex she smiled and reached for the door. She pushed it open looking to Tortie. "Quick pictures and we will be in and out..." She nodded before heading in to Aulus' room.

The room - slightly larger than Kailee's own - was not a mess but nor was it immaculate. It looked in fact as though somebody had left one day in a hurry, in the middle of doings things, and simply not returned.

Directly in front the grunt as she entered was a desk and chair, set so that the person using the desk could face the door. The desk was occupied by a laptop and some piles of papers, while a pair of jeans and a t-shirt were tossed over the back of the chair. The walls were largely covered by framed photographs of varying sizes; the subject of the shots was a fairly even split between landscapes from around Kodo and wild pokemon. One wall however was dominated by a large screen which seemed to be displaying a live feed of a beach, and currently this screen was giving off the only light in the room; a television with a couple of beanbags in front of it was set against another wall. A double bed set in one corner was neatly made and had a small pile of neatly folded clothes on it, and at the foot of the bed there was a pair of large comfortable looking pokemon beds.

Tortie paused in the doorway of the darkened room, looking around in silence. Everything was just the way it had been when they left.... What else had she expected? Of course it was how they'd left it. It didn't seem right though, for everything to be so... so normal. She didn't understand that thought, and she did not like not understanding her own thoughts.

Eventually the Absol huffed, fluffed up her mane and stalked inside. she said a little tightly to Boo as she headed over to a dresser set beside the bed, gripped the narrow top draw in her teeth, and pulled it open to reveal five pokeballs set into little dips, like eggs in an egg box. There was a sixth depression to complete the set, but this was currently empty. Tortie looked up at Kailee expectantly.

Kailee glanced around. She didnt know what she had expected. But what she saw wasn't it. She glanced to the frames as the tv sent an eerie light on them. She moved closer reaching out to find the lights.

She looked at the photos. Wondering who had taken them all. Well at least Aulus appreciated pictures. She glanced To tortie and smiled as she was directed to the pokeballs. She glanced over them feeling all sorts of guilt in being here. She should have asked... but that would have ruined the surprise.

Boo shrugged.

Kailee set down Anura and glanced over them. "Is the missing one yours?" It made sense so she was just making sure. If he was missing a ball and it wasnt Torties she had just found a problem she wasnt sure how to handle. The other problem was that Asgard was in one of those balls. She bit her lip and then picked them up. The training room had good lighting... And was big enough for the lugia. "Can i take them to the training room tortie? We will bring them right back... But i can get better pictures there..." She nodded and reached to pick them up. She waited a moment and then returned Anura so that she could stay out of the way.

She moved to the door. "Got his dex?" She just wanted to make sure she could put them back. And then she was headed to the Training area.
