Titus FeaghanTi watched Adelaide be the first one to get up, if a bit wobbly, and agree with his suggestion. He took a step closer to her just in case she lost balance, that way he could catch her before she fell. She seemed to be doing alright though, so he didn't jump to the rescue just yet. Still, he kept an eye on her. Problem was, he was pretty sure he would have to keep an eye on every single one of these drunk druggies for the same reason. Hearing Cyrus mumble something about Titus being right, he looked over to his buddy as he got up and threw his drink out. There is was. That guilt. It never took it's time in rushing in to punish him for being a jerk to his friends. The confirmation from Cyrus as he glared at Ti only made it worse. "Yeah... I know. But, hey. If you would like I can get you a cat and we can start there. Shouldn't take long to get you to lion trainer status with some practice, right?" Titus gave his friend a warm smile, trying to make up for his snappy comment. It was his way of apologizing indirectly. To further the motion of trying to get back on Cyrus' good side, he nodded at his suggestion. "That sounds like a great place to start. We can take a look and see if it's suitable. What do you two ladies think?" He said, walking over next to Cyrus and looking expectantly at Cody and Adelaide.

Adelaide Jean Stone Adelaide could see the hurt in Cyrus's eyes, and though she considered saying something, he seemed capable of doing so himself, and it seemed that Titus was more than aware of what he did. His attempted, off-handed apology, was kind of sweet, though a bit late. Although the words made her think, maybe it would be good for Cyrus to have a cat. He sort of seemed like a cat guy. Maybe it would help keep him out of that funk he fell in every so often. They then moved back to the topic of finding a new place. The oil rig? She had to think about that for a moment, trying to recall what rig he was talking about. Cyrus's expression muttled her thoughts for a moment, but she was brought back by Titus's words. "Huh? Oh. Yeah. I think that sounds good. I'm down. Not like I got anything better to do." Looking back to Cyrus, she held her hand out for the joint. There wasn't a lot left, but she wasn't about to just toss what was left. She would put it out and save it for later. With her bag still on her shoulder, he pulled it around to her front and opened up the aread that had her hidden stash so she could put the snuffed out joint with it.

Cody Ivory I'm a tough girl, and I'll `n e v e r` back down [without] trying. ═════════════════════════════════════════ Cody sat quietly, fuzzy in the head. She couldn't really focus on what anyone was saying. Only bits and pieces. There was a comment about a feline that seemed to upset Cyrus. Ti was acting a bit guarded against his own feelings and she didn't know why. Ada looked enthusiastic about going somewhere, but where? Cody had no legitimate answers for the scene being displayed before her, however she was aware that she'd been quiet for an awfully long time. Silence could be deadly in her case. She could get violent if she felt threatened in any way and everyone at her father's wedding knew that to be a fact. The only way she was going to that wedding was if she drank herself into a stupor and wouldn't remember anything afterwards. She unfortunately had a few recollections.
She'd worn a black suit, a black bow tie and black converse with black skull socks against her father's wishes to wear a dress and look feminine for once. However, his wishes for his only daughter were no longer required or appreciated. Cody claimed that if her father married the woman he cheated on her mother with, he was dead to her, reasoning for the black clothing. If that hadn't caused a scene enough already, Cody had shaved her head in protest for the big day as well. At the after party, there was congratulations, throwing of rice and Cody had drunk a liquor store. Needless to say, it resulted with knocking the bride's lights out and an innocent waiter acquired a broken arm from trying to restrain her.
Cody had leaned back on her elbows lazily watching as her friends' talked. She wasn't really interested in going anywhere. What was the point anyway? They'd probably drink and smoke at the oil rig too. However, she'd support her friends despite her lack of motivation to do anything. Watching Cyrus take another drag from the joint, she watched the smoke escape his perfectly shaped lips before Titus asked what she thought. "Honestly, I'm as useful as a windshield wiper on a goat's a$$ for the moment. You guys do whatever and I'll follow suit."

Cyrus Alman Cyrus could only give Titus a look before he couldn't break out into a grin. "Are you ******** kidding me? That cat would run away after just an hr with me." He exclaimed before looking over at Ada and handing her the joint. "Cody, you look ready to crash though. Are you sure you're up for standing up?" He asked. Cyrus could admit he felt high, but he wasn't handicapped by any means, except maybe his reflexes were delayed, and he felt like laughing at every little thing and thought that came to mind. Ah, weed. He grinned again as he gave himself his silent assessment. It was then that he realized that the rest of their group hadn't made it. This wasn't unusual, they could always text them where they were all going to hangout, but it made him wonder what happened to them. "Hey Titus, where is your genetic link?" He asked. ((OOC: hey, so I think in the mean time I wouldn't mind playing two characters until someone(if anyone) decides to be one of the other characters. Should I go ahead? And would any of you like to take on a second temporary character?))

Titus FeaghanAdelaide agreed with the idea, and Cody.... well, Cody was Cody. Titus resisted the urge to roll his eyes at her before looking back to Cyrus. The guy was still struggling to stay upset at Ti, but he could see the smile behind his dirty look before it even broke out. This was a relief, he hadn't fallen too far out of his friend's good graces. He flashed him another smile before adding. "I'll just stuff some catnip in your pockets, it'll love ya!" Then Cyrus mentioned Cody's condition and Titus let out a sigh. "You and I might have to carry her if she can't stand up straight. But you are coming with us, woman! I'm not letting your drunken stupor split up the band, even if your instrument is the snore." He stuck his tongue out at her and then looked back at Cyrus. "You mean my sister? Meh, I dunno. Our psychic connection isn't always reliable. She's probably not too far though." He joked. Honestly, Ti was a little worried, she was usually always close by somewhere, even if Titus didn't always like that. ((OOC: I'm fine with that, and I could do the other one if you need it. BTW, sorry for the crappy post, I'm in a hurry, gotta leave.))

Adelaide Jean Stone Chuckling a bit at Titus's comment on catnip, Adelaide nodded, ”We can hide it in all your clothes and you can become the cat tamer first.” She had the image of a number of stray cats following him around town, and it made her laugh a little more, which caused her to stumble a little, but not enough to be concerning. At least not in her head. She was still able to put her weed away and close up her backpack without much problem, so she figured she was good enough to go anywhere. Hearing they were all in agreement with going to at least check out the rig, Adelaide waited as patiently as she could for them all to get to stepping. When Cody seemed to stay where she was, though she'd agreed to going, Adelaide looked half expectantly to the guys. When neither of them moved, she took a few steps over to Cody, and yanked her up off the ground. Whether Cody needed it or not Adelaide didn't care to wait and see. She may not have looked it, but she was pretty strong for her size. Another benefit of growing up with a bunch of guys. ”I may have been able to pull her up, but if she falls, I'm probably going down with her.” she was saying it to let them know she could use a hand {{OOC: I'd be fine with doing so as well. My only concern with this is the possibility of forming relationships with the temporary characters. If we take them on temporarily, wouldn't that sort of put them in a box for whoever does come in to use them?}}

Cody Ivory I'm a tough girl, and I'll `n e v e r` back down [without] trying. ═════════════════════════════════════════ Cody felt a bit threatened when Titus yelled at her, but the extent of her temper was a long fuse. "I appreciate still being desired on this band wagon, but Ti, we'll see who is snoring when I kick your a$$." Just raising ones' voice at Cody use to be like poking an angry bear with a stick, but after boot camp and tolerating deafening instructors, it didn't phase her any more. She'd grown more laid back since the military, but there were still some little things that could set her off like an atomic bomb. For example: Titus rejecting her was still a bit of a sting.
All she wanted to do at the moment was lay down and stare at the clouds passing by until Hulk had swooped in and put Cody back on her feet before she could protest. It wasn't difficult since Cody was the smallest in the group. She adjusted her jean jacket with a huff as the wind started to pick up. "No Cyrus. I wasn't ready to stand on my own just yet. I feel like a newborn horse." Cody noticed the concern in Cyrus's voice and couldn't quite make out what it meant. If it even meant anything, she could be just making something up in her fuzzy little head.
She tried to glare at Ada but a smile broke through. Leaning most of her weight against Ada to keep steady, she tried to whistle a happy tune, failing miserably. After another attempt, she erupted into a fit of giggles. Listening to the extended cat version of her friends' usual intellectual banter, Cody laughed even harder. "Cyrus, lets just run away and be old cat ladies together. These dorks don't appreciate us." She returned the gesture of sticking her tongue out at Titus and then licked Ada's cheek since she was conveniently inches from her face. God knew even her friends' could barely put up with her sh!t. A long term partner was way out of the question and twenty cats seemed to be the answer. Cody looked down at one of her untied combat boots and tried to adjust her footing, ending up stumbling away from Ada. OOC: I think it's a little late in the game for anyone to have any desire to jump in this madness. I volunteer as tribute if you want. I already have an idea for the other male character. A goth redneck from New Orleans who suffers from delirium and is convinced that zombies exist. Lol. I try to keep things interesting, but whatever is best for the sake of the RP. :3 P.S. I'm turning 20 tomorrow and freaking out! Where has the time gone!?

Titus FeaghanTitus chuckled when Adelaide joined in with his catnip comments. Oh yes, he would definitely have to get Cyrus a cat for his birthday now. Cody then threatened to kick his a** and all Titus could do was smile at her. He doubted she could even lift her foot that far off the ground in the state she was in right now. Then again, she would probably get him back later though. However, he hoped she wouldn't even be able to remember this conversation by then. "If you want to kick my @$$, you are going to have to get off of yours. Come on crazy cat lady." Titus said, going over to help Ady lift the other girl up onto her feet. They were both wobbling pretty bad leaning on each other like that, so Titus shooed the red head away while helping to steady Cody as she stumbled over her own shoelaces. "You work on keeping your own feet on the ground. I'll get this lump." He told Adelaide as he backed up to Cody and squatted down a bit to allow her to climb on his back. "Looks like you get a piggy back ride, lucky you! Hey, Cyrus, you keep an eye on stumbles and stuff over there so if she falls you can carry her too, k?" Titus was referring to Adelaide. Despite the fact he hung out with this group of un-classy dopes, Titus had been raised in a family of mostly girls so he was taught to be a gentleman and always look out for the women and put them first. He was often teased about it but it was already hardwired into him and that was shining through right now. {{OOC: Well, I'll only take on another character if it's needed, if one of you guys wants to double instead though, then I'll just stick with Ti. And happy early birthday, Wingnut!}}

Cyrus Alman He frowned at Titus's response about his sister and looked around the campus behind him. He turned back around and shook his head immediately at the thought of having a cat, much less a bunch of cats following him around. "No way. ******** that." He said. "I'm not a pet person. And anyway, if I were to have a pet, it would have to be big, like a German Shepard or something." He shrugged and pit his hands into his hoodie pockets and slouched slightly. He laughed at Cody. "I know right. We're terribly misunderstood." Cyrus shakes his head in mock sadness. He watched the preceding events of Cody stumbling, and Ada... aiding as much as she was hindering as they drunkenly ambled about, and then Titus coming to their pathetic rescue. He could only frown, and keep back his laughter at his foolish friends, but when Titus volunteered him tohelp Ada as he shooed her away from Cody. Cyrus wasn't having any of it, and straightened up because walking ahead of them in a serious and dramatic fashion, although his high made it really hard not to break into giggles. "No way. I'm not going to be appointed babysitter if they can't handle their recreational activities. Anyway-" He looked back slightly without too much effort. "Cody looks like she started as soon as she woke up." He couldn't understand why Cody could drink like she did. Not only did that s**t taste terrible, but the spinning, and sickness that often accompanied enough drinking was terrible to him. "Hurry up you guys." He said even though he was only a few feet ahead.

Unfortunately for poor Kris, she didn't have the same luxury as her friends. She just so happened to be sitting in class trying to play games on her phone since the usual babbling nonsense of the teacher was too unbearable to block out today. And of course... She got caught! So instead of tasting the sweet air of freedom at the same time as many of her other classmates, she was stuck sitting in the hell hole of a school serving her sentence. Her head was down the entire time because she didn't feel like doing any of the pointless homework she was given and because the call of her music was too strong to ignore. Thank god she had long hair! She was able to use it to hide her headphones as she played one her favorite tunes. She knew better than to crank up the volume like she normally would or else their warden would hear it. And the last thing she needed was another excuse to stay here even longer.
It seemed like hours had gone by before the stuck up prude allowed them all to go home and Kris couldn't get out fast enough. However, it wasn't until she was out the door that the new found excitement of freedom quickly disappeared. What was the point anyway? She'd just go back to a home filled with idiots who didn't care if she existed at all. Forget that... She scrolled through the contacts on her phone, wondering who might be available and who would want to put up with her for a few hours. But she was suddenly distracted by the sound of a few familiar voices. She smiled a bit as she saw her crew in the distance. It seemed like Cody and Ada were already too buzzed to function. Cyrus looked a little too happy so she assumed he must be on something. Whatever it was, she could really use a hit of it right now. Then she spotted her brother Titus and couldn't help but roll her eyes. He was always acting like the care taker of the group, like he knew exactly what to do. But yet he was always so helpless at home. Oh well...they were all friends so she would just have to put up with his crap yet again.
As she approached the group, she saw Titus bend down as if to give Cody a piggy back ride while calling out to Cyrus to keep an eye out for Ada. "Seriously, Titus...? Don't you know that if you baby them, they won't learn anything? You've gotta let them hit the spikes and die a few times before they know how to jump over." she said in her philosophical "I know everything" sort of way. She then gave a coy little grin as she winked at all of them. "And then possibly get crushed by a boulder or attacked by a monster." That's how life worked. If one thing didn't get you, then there was a guarantee something else would. She slid her hands into her pockets and walked along beside them, wondering why Cyrus was trying to walk so far ahead. "So what are you dip$hits up to?" she asked them curiously. It wasn't like she had anything better to do.[[OOC: Wooo! First post! >w<]]

Adelaide Jean Stone Letting Cody get taken from her, Adelaide steadied her footing, then heard Titus tell Cyrus he was to keep an eye on her. She made a face at him, then chuckled a bit as Cyrus refused to help her. "I handle my recreational activities very well. Titus just has no faith. Just because I stumble a bit doesn't mean I'm gonna fall."Then she heard the familiar voice of Kris approaching them. Smiling widely at both the girl and her words, she nodded, "So true. Bring on the monsters." Pausing her words, she looked around at all of them then shook her head, "Never mind. They're already here." At the question asked, she refused to answer, not feeling she belonged in the category of 'dipshits'. Still, she continued walking after Cyrus. She figured she'd follow him, because she couldn't remember where the rig was.

Cody Ivory I'm a tough girl, and I'll `n e v e r` back down [without] trying. ═════════════════════════════════════════ Cody hesitated. She'd always been a lone wolf who took care of herself and yet, she drank herself into a worthless state. The drinking was more profuse now that her other parent was finally getting married again and to a woman for God's sake. Cody didn't understand how her parents lasted being married for twenty years and then happily went on their own ways. Her parents and the step-loser were the main reasons for why she cared so little about herself and whether she found true love or not. She'd probably get a divorce, just like her parents and grandparents.
Cody's blood boiled at Cyrus's comment about her drinking. She hated the taste and the foul effects it had, but it was the only cure she found to all pain, problems, stress and everything in her life at the moment. Her hands clenched into fists, but there was no point. She didn't have the energy nor the sanity to conjure up any strong feelings towards anyone, so she went numb. Giving up, Cody hopped up on Titus's back, wrapping her arms gently around his neck. "You smell nice." She said with a giggle and ignoring any other comments directed to her at this time. She hadn't even noticed Kris had shown up until she was in clear view. "Oh look what your cat dragged in Cyrus." She said, even though she had no interest in really talking to him at all. Kris must have been in detention, considering they hadn't seen anyone on campus for awhile until she and a few others exited the building. "Rawr." She mumbled when Ada mentioned the monsters were already here.

Titus FeaghanDespite Cyrus' protests, Titus had still made up his mind about buying the guy a cat for his next birthday, but he wasn't about to spoil that surprise so he didn't say anything in response to his friend. He did get a little flustered when Cyrus refused to look after their other friends with him. Was he the only one that actually cared about these morons?! "Aw, you suck! Do I have to do everything? Eh, well, Addy seems fine anyways." He mumbled, hoisting Cody up on his back and trying not to smile at her comment on how he smelled. "It's called soap, doofus. You should try it some time." He teased her. And then there it was, his beloved sister, come to spoil the whole thing. He was really hoping to get out of there before she showed up. She was always so bitter. "Well, unlike you, I actually care about my friends and don't want them to die repeatedly. Besides, life isn't a video game, you don't get multiple lives to waste." He grumbled at her, starting to follow Cyrus as he was walking away. The group was finally on the move, if a bit slow due to being weighed down by booze, drugs, and Kris' negativity. Titus did give a grin at Adelaide's monster comment. When Cody chimed in with a "rawr" Ti added his own in with hers. "Rawr. Us dip$hits be up to finding a new hangout. We're gonna try that old oil rig behind the convenience store first. Hopefully we won't need to get tetanus shots before checking it out." Titus knew she would want to tag along, so he didn't even bother telling her to scram, knowing she wouldn't let up. He loved his sister, but that didn't stop him from finding her annoying as all hell. Like she was one to criticize him for babying their friends, she was just like the rest of the family in babying him. She wasn't as bad about it though, so he was at least grateful for that. "Hey, where were you this whole time anyways, Kris? We were wondering about you."

Cyrus Alman Cyrus smirked at Ada's defensive retort as the girl gradually caught up with him. He also let out a small 'rawr' with the rest of them at the mention of monsters. At the familiar, irritating voice calling him and the others 'dipshits' however, his smirk fell into an expression of annoyance, and his only response for Karis was to bring up his arm and give her the finger without even bothering to turn around. He continued walking forward as he led them off campus and into the neighboring suburbia around the school. The convenient store was a few blocks north, and across the busy Main St. Behind that was mostly abandoned oil rigs, and the beginnings of construction that had been unfinished for nearly 5 years. This 'empty' land went on for about 10 to 15 acres before meeting a thick forest protected by some state sanctioned conservation. "My cat wouldn't touch that with all of the Germ-X in the world." Cyrus replied to Cody, rolling his eyes.
