Damien Lee "Oy!" One of his mates hooted for his attention. Damien looked back, noticing them waving as a black van was pulling around the corner of the block. Business had arrived. "I'll have to see you two later. There's a party going on this Saturday. Just knock on that door after 6. Should be lots of fun." He said, inviting them. It was a big party, and he probably wouldn't know half the people that arrived, but parties were a good way to make connections. Connections are important. He parted ways with them and disappeared around the block with his men, and then into a large storage building where the van slowly rolled into the opening. Once inside one of his men pulled down the garage door and pulled down the garage door. Let business begin. ((Kind of a shitty post, but if I didn't post now, your characters would've been stuck forever with him. I also want to announce an event happening! This party Saturday is a chance for everyone to congregate to(but not a required participation or anything). Timeskip as you please to jump your character(s) to the party at your own pace. Be sure to plot with each other to <3 No timeskips will involve anyone who isn't ready to do so.)

Ecko - Graffiti Artist Ecko stayed looking over the city for any available space, and although there was plenty of it, none of them seemed to suit his needs. He turned away from the edge and headed across the rooftop and passed behind the smaller structures that cluttered up the area around him. Most of them were probably for storage, or the inner stairway that led to the roof. Behind the stairs he made it to the edge of the building and looked across to the other side. It was only about a yard in distance, easy to jump. He backed up a bit for a slight running start and launched himself into the air. He landed effortlessly and stood up from his landing crouch. He was startled however, when he looked back to see a girl on the rooftop he had come from, just standing and staring at him with her hands stuffed in her pockets.

Kylie EmmersKylie paused several feet away from the strange man, watching him look out over the city. She looked off in the direction in front of him and had to admit, being so high up made this city look a lot more beautiful than it really want. The reflection of the cloudy sky drizzling onto the earth glimmered off the thousands of windows on the tall buildings scattered around. His movement away from the edge brought her focus to him and she continued to follow him to the other side the roof, making no attempt to be sneaky. She gasped slightly when he made the jump across the roof. Even though watching him only took a few seconds, her heart was racing from just the were thought that he wouldn't make it. Jumping buildings was no easy feat - at least in her opinion. It was then that he turned around and finally noticed her, causing her to take a step back before catching herself. After a moment of silent staring between them she called out: " What are you doing?"His answer, a frown and a shrug: "What do you want?" She frowned at his response and crossed her arms. "Nothing. I'm just curious. Do you paint?" She asked, nodding towards the paintcans at his belt. He looked down getting the meaning of her question and then looked back up. "Mind your own business." Her frowned deepened, but before she could retort a small commotion came from behind her near the fire escape. She looked back, thinking it was strange to hear the strange noises so far up on a building. Walking around some of the sturctures built on the rooftop she found the culprit(s) of all the noise. Two girls were looking over the edge of the roof, probably being as nosy as she was with the strange man. When she looked back to see what he took from all this, she found that he had disappeared. Looking around, trying to find any movement that would identify the direction he went, but to no avail. Looking back at the girls she says: "What are you guys doing?"

✲I am a poor, wayfaring stranger Traveling through this world alone. And there's no sickness, toil or danger In that bright land to which I go. And I'm going there to see my mother. And I'm going there no more to roam. And I'm only going over Jordan. And I'm only going over home now...✺ Coral Coral watched over the edge as the man on the far side jumped from one roof to another, and she had half an urge to bolt across the rooftop and follow, still curious. Not many people could do that so effortlessly. The girl followed to the edge and shared a few brief words with the man, but then turned, hearing the commotion the two girls below Coral had caused. She quickly ducked down, hoping that the girl would not notice them, only to hear her address them.
Coral peeked back up, and then pushed herself the rest of the way over the ledge, joining the girl on the rooftop. She finally let go of the bag of chips between her teeth so that she could speak, letting the bag fall back into her hands. She smiled bashfully at the girl, brushing through her short hair with her free hand, acting ashamed at being caught. "Sorry miss, I was just curious, that's all. Can't speak for this one though..." She said, jabbing her thumb over her shoulder in the direction of the redhead still on the fire escape. She was sure she wouldn't have been seen if the bumping and the yelling hadn't happened. "What are you doing?" Coral asked back, figuring she better cut to the chase, now that she had been forced into the open.❉And I know dark clouds will gather me, And I know my way is rough and steep. And the beautiful fields that lie just beyond me, And I know my needs are rough and steep.✺ ❉And I'm going there|to see my mother. And I'm going there|no more to roam. And I'm only going|over Jordan. Cyrus Alman Cyrus' thoughts ran over the possibilities of what he would need to do after he got the infamous letter that all kids in his home received once they came of age. He stuffed his hands in his hoodie and shifted his backpack with a slight shrug of his shoulders as he made his way through the afternoon crowds. When he crossed the street, cars honked annoyed with his jay walking at the exact moment the light turned green. He upped his pace, but not by much, for his mind was elsewhere. With a soft growl towards himself, he shook himself back to the reality around him, and decided he might as well look for available businesses accepting apps. He'd need a job really soon or he'd be living with nothing but a wet cardboard box in a year taking drugs to take away the depressive realizations of his life.

Ecko - Graffiti Artist Finally having got away from that stupid girl(Which wasn't hard; her attention span seemed very short), Ecko continued his trek across the building rooftops in search of the perfect place for the image in his head. He knew this city like the back of his hand having grown up on it's streets for as long as he could remember. Part of him hated it, but he couldn't deny that he'd defend the city against outside attack. Terrorism came to mind. 9/11 wasn't too long ago, at least not for him. The drizzle had begun to finally let up, but the sky remained grey and cloudy, blocking much of the sunlight. Spring seemed like a very temperamental season to him.

The end, the end Things will never go our way In the end, the end Things will never go Hadley JensenI've| been| dreaming| things| and| scheming| thingsHadley cocked her head to the side as the young man walked back across the street and disappeared, thinking the whole thing had been rather strange. "A party, huh?" She mumbled to herself, thinking it over. She wondered how wide of a variety of people would be there. It might be a good place for her to meet people. Maybe they'd let her play a set somewhere, to get her name out there. The more she thought about it, the more she decided it might be worth a shot. But she really didn't want to go alone, and she didn't have any friends to go bug about it. Instead she turned back to Alita. "We should go." She announced, sounding very determined to drag this new girl along. Maybe the girl would have mercy on her sorry state and agree to join her. So take it in, don't hold your breath The bottom's all I found We can't get higher than we get On the long way down

♫Slow down, the world isn't watching us break down, It's safe to say we are alone now, we're alone now. Not a whisper, the only noise is the receiver. I'm counting the seconds until you break the silence, So please just break the silence.♬ ☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ ωєsℓєч ɢяєчωσσם ☜ ₪✉₪✉☣✉₪✉₪ ☞ As he kept walking down the sidewalk, Wesley saw a very street-wise looking man go across the street and disappear around the corner. He was so busy watching, curious about the man's choice in clothing, that he didn't notice the two girls standing in the middle of the street in front of him, where the man had just come from. He bumped right into one of them, knocking himself off balance, and knocking a large box out of her arms. Wesley realized as he went down that the box was going down, too, and reached out to rescue it from the puddle. It might be inconvenient to be covered in groundwater, but really, it had been his own fault for not paying attention. And, besides, the "gentlemanly" instincts that had been beat into his head as a child from growing up in a well-to-do family kicked in. Wesley might have a habit of speaking like he was better than people, but he could take the fall when he was at fault... Quite literally, in this situation.
He sat on the wet street most of his bottom half and his right arm covered in groundwater from the sidewalk, holding the box up. "Sorry." He said, smiling lamely. There really wasn't anything he could say to make himself look less stupid than he looked right now. Hopefully the girl at least wouldn't yell at him, since he had gone to the effort to save her box. He was sure he would hear enough yelling from his mother when he got home looking like he'd been through the sewer system. ♫And I'm longing, For words to describe how I'm feeling. I'm feeling inspired, My world just flip turned upside down. It turns around, say what's that sound? It's my heart beat, it's getting much louder. My heart beat, is stronger than ever. I'm feeling so alive, I'm feeling so alive.♬ ₪ஐ₪ஐ☢ஐ₪ஐ₪

A L I T A xxxαlita watched the man leave, then looked back at Hadley. "Go? To his party?" Alita had been to parties before--it wasn't anything new to her--but, based on the way that man was acting, she figured it wasn't exactly her style. You're new here, remember? She reminded herself. You want to meet new and exciting people here, don't you? "Ah..." She hesitated. "Yeah. I think I might be fr--"xxxвefore she could finish her sentence, a man bumped into her. The sudden jolt loosened her arms from their so called "death grip" on her box. She watched as the man and her box began to fall and reached out for it, soon realizing that he had grabbed it and kept it safe. Well, as safe as it could be in the rain. "Oh, no. Don't worry about it. Accidents happen, you know?" She smiled, taking back the box. She extended her hand, offering to help him up. "Are you alright?"✿

His pants, however, would be hopeless. "I'm fine. And yourself?" He asked. At least he hadn't taken her down with him. "What's in that thing?" He added, curiously. It was a lot heavier than it looked. Then he looked back and forth between the redhead hiding behind a baseball cap and hoodie, and the girl with the box, realizing he had probably interrupted with the lack of attention he was paying to the street in front of him. ♫And I'm longing, For words to describe how I'm feeling. Estuko heard a familiar voice when the blonde hair girl and her started talking to each other. She climbed over the edge "Hey Kylie, What you doing up here?" she said. Looking over to the blonde hair girl she had bumped in to as she climbed the fire escape "Sorry about bumping in to you, My name's Estuko"

Cameron rolled his window down a bit, reached in his glove department and grabbed his cigarettes. He told Estuko he'd quiet but he smoked when she wasn't around, thinking to himself "Maybe I should go see what she is doing, she has been up there for a while". He put the cigarettes back, so he didn't smell like smoke when he went up there. Getting out his truck Cameron locked the jeep up before going down the alley, he noticed a girl standing there. She seemed like she was lost, he walked over to her "what are you doing out here?" he asked.

Kylie EmmersKylie was debating whether or not she should answer the blonde girl's question when she looked behind her as Etsuko climbed over the edge of the rooftop and pretty much asked her the same question as the blonde. "Etsuko?" Kylie asked out loud, surprised to see her friend here. "Didn't know anyone from school could brave the rain. Thought everyone there were pansies." She replied. She motioned behind her, speaking mostly to Etsuko. "I was following this guy. He's an artist." She claimed this as if it were a big deal, and to most city kids it was. Grafitti artists were hard to spot or know if you weren't already on that particular scene. They've been known for their stealth, and leaving behind almost mysterious if not gang related artwork behind in some of the coolest place. It was cool at least to Kylie. "I think it would be cool to be an artist. And so far I'm not dissuaded." She concluded.

Tyler Cambell Tyler finally pushed through the after school crowds, his last class being in the most busy wing of the building, and headed toward the meet spot him and his friends often congregated towards. He frowned however, seeing just Jamie and Elliot loitering around, but no Cyrus. "Hey guys. Where's Cy?" Looking around in hopes his friend hadn't ditched him. He knew Cyrus had a lot on his mind recently with turning 18 and everything, but this was ridiculous. Couldn't the guy wait for him?? "Dunno. I was the first one here." Elliot replied, leaning nonchalantly against the chain link fence of the football field behind him. Tyler only frowned wishing the government funded foster kids their own cellphones so that he could text Cyrus. Who knows where the guy went now. "Alright, well later.""L8." Both Elliot and Jamie waved him off as Tyler departed. He wasn't ready to go home, so Tyler decided to hit up the cuty and see if he could find Cyrus around anywhere. Cyrus tended to walk the city a lot more these days, and even though Tyler worried about him, the suburban family kid wasn't much comfort. He'd been talking to his mom and dad about seeing if Cyrus could stay here until he got on his feet after foster care, but they've been very reluctant to agree. Tyler only hoped he could convince them soon before Cyrus disappeared on him. It sucks to lose your best friend.

∝╬══→ єммα мαsσи Emma wandered down the street, leaving the school, her arms wrapped tightly around her against the rain. She blinked up at the sky, letting the rain fall into her face for a moment, before resuming her walk. Though the air outside wasn't actually that bad, Emma was chilly. Anything less than shorts weather was freezing to her, really. She figured it would probably be best for her own health to head back to the group home, especially since she had nothing better to do, but then she caught sight Cyrus up ahead of her a ways crossing in the middle of the street. Emma couldn't help but think that he was going to get himself killed doing that. "Cyrus!" She called after him, hoping to get him to wait for her as she hurried forward, trying not to slip on the slick pavement. She waited for the light to change, and the cross sign to come on before continuing towards him. ❥ Mais dis-moi adieu demain. ❥ Mais dis-moi adieu en chemin. ❥ Vas voir les autres, je n'en pense rien. ❥ Je t'ai aimé, mais je t'assure que c'est la fin...

Sliding the hood of her hoodie off and pulling her long rain hair over her shoulder, since the rain slowed down a bit. " Yeah, Well I got bored sitting home alone. Parents are working all night at the hospital again, so I decided to take a walk" Estuko said. She saw the guy across on the rooftop, the guy Kylie mentioned, she looked back to Kylie " So he is a artist?" which interested her.
