Takeshi
Takeshi looked at the closet door and was curious what was inside. He opened the door only for a few balls of yarn to fall on him. He stumbled back and trying to get them off he ended up entangling himself more. He sat on the floor wrapped in yarn everywhere as the balls of yarn scattered around the room. He tried again to untangle himself but he kept making more of a mess.

"I have returned!" she announced as she closed the door behind her, taking off her helmet and rain jacket. She wondered if Takeshi would leave when the rain stopped. And, other than that, how many cat-like traits he had. Her house was far enough away from the town so he could go outside without being seen, but close enough for him to be quite capable of walking to where she found him. Rae carried the bags into the kitchen, looking into the living room as she put the food away. "Takeshi...?" no sighn of him. He must've gone uptairs already, she figured.
She brought the clothes she'd bought him upstairs, managing to open the door to peek in. "I got you some clo--pfffft!" she placed the bags by the door and put her hands to her mouth, covering some laughter as she walked in. "I forgot those were there, I'm so sorry!" she couldn't help herself from laughing with her pleasing voice. "Need a little help?"

Takeshi's ears twitched hearing her voice when she came home. He got nervous because he made such a big mess and wasn't sure if she would get mad at him or not. He tried again to untangle himself before she came but of course that didn't work. He could hear her moving around downstairs and then up to his room. He blushed when she started to laugh. He nodded looking up at her. "I'm stuck" he told her and sighed.

Rae blinked as she saw the blush on his face, and found herself blushing a little herself, taking on a bit more of a shy stance as she came over to him. "I see that. Looks like you could use some help." the raven-haired woman smiled coyly, tugging at one of the strings on his shoulder. Takeshi was really tied up. "Wow, you really got strung up. Pun...not intended, eheh." The girl still found her cheeks heated as she attempted to untangle him.

Takeshi watched her walk towards him and started helping him get untangled. He stayed still so he wouldnt get in her way while she helped him. He smiled a little. He was glad that she was so kind to him and that she wasn't mad at him.

Smiling in response, Rae continued to undo the thread roping around him, trying to re-thread the spools and gather the balls, but it still wasn't doing too much. After much hard labor, she finally got him loose, only to find that she'd managed to tangle herself while untangling Takeshi. She blushed, "Looks like I'm not very good at this, huh." Feeling her heart flutter, she started to attempt to untie herself, but she'd wound herself up surprisingly well, and proceeded to trip on a ball of yarn.

Takeshi waited and was finally able to get out of the yarn. He then noticed that she had gotten tangled this time. He was going to help her get untangled when she tripped and rushed to catch her stumbling a bit but managing to keep them from falling. He blushed a little but it reminded him of something he had seen on the tv.

"Ah!" She gasped and closed her eyes, expecting to have hit the ground. But instead, she felt the warmth of accidentally falling against Takeshi's chest, confusion melting away as she locked eyes with him, lips parting slightly in surprise. In her trance, Rae managed out, "Th-thanks..." she needed to snap out of it! She didn't even know this guy! Was she just lonely, or...?

Takeshi locked eyes with her and smiled. "You're welcome" he told her smiling. This girl he met today was so different from all the scientists he was so used to being around. He liked it here with her even if he had only been here for a few hours.

She should have thought about cat-like reflexes. Forgetting about being so close to someone she barely knew, she found herself more interested in his pretty clear verbal response, eyes sparkling a little with excitement. "Hey, you understand me now?? That really was fast!"

Takeshi nodded. "A little. Watch tv. It's cool" he said. This time his english was a little more broken but he felt the more he watched tv the more he would learn and the more he would understand. "Learn fast" he said smiling at her not caring that she was still in his arms. It was like the people he had seen on tv. He remembered how the guy looked at the girl and he tilted his head slightly. "Beautiful " he told her. She really was pretty.

"Usually people say TV is bad...but apparently not in this case, huh?" She felt her face heat up at his last word, managing to lift a hand to tuck a stray lock of black hair behind her ear, becoming conscientious of the position and feeling the blush just increasing. Was he always that handsome? She could feel her heart rate pick up.

Takeshi smiled. He didn't understand why tv was bad but he didn't understand a lot of things about this place. He smiled enjoying having her in his arms. He noticed her face turning red. "You okay? "He asked her.

"Yes...yes!" she took a half-step back. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't just go leaning against you like that...you probably think I'm really weird." she smiled nervously. Rae realized that tumbling into him probably wasn't something he wanted, so she rubbed her arm and looked down, internally apologizing many more times for making such an advance. Even though she might like him...she felt quite awkward now.

Takeshi shook his headwhen she apologized. "I liked it" he said since he found no reason to hide it. "Not weird. I'm weird" he said pointing to his ears and his tail moving around behind him. He hadnt seen any other Nekos like him. If there were any like him they might be at the lab but he never saw them.
