Eva Experiment 13886 Eva covered her mouth and giggled at Batty's acting, her eyes were shining with delight. She loved Batty to death. She shook her head at Batty's question.
"No. Saichion told him he was loopy." With that she giggled and leaned forward, hugging Batty gently as to not hurt any wounds she still may have had. She then looked over at Saichion, still cuddling with Batty.
"Elijah Elijah!" She called in Saichion's voice causing the boy to look up, startled as she was just getting ready to explain his dreams last night. Eva giggled furiously at her mischievous playfulness.

Elijah Electricity is the Key Just as Elijah was about to confide about his recent reoccuring nightmares he was startled by Saichion calling out his name. His eyes darted up to her and then found Eva whom he gave a playful, but stern glare. With that he shrugged at Saichion, and stood up.
"It was no big deal." He said, brushing it off. "What do you think they have planned for us today?" He asked, changing the subject as smoothly as possible.

Cyrus The Guard ............Cyrus found the study rather interesting. He hadn't touched anything yet, but just the forbidden feeling of the room had the hair on the nape of his neck standing on end. There were two desks pushed up side by side and facing the door that opened into the hallway. Behind them were windows with thick dark curtains blocking any of the room getting sunlight. There was a thick book case, along with a world globe with strange markings on it and a small table with strange lab equipment on the right side of the room. On the left was nothing but a blank wall. It was strangely empty over there, but Cyrus tried not to think about why. Instead he lingered by the bookshelf, reading the titles until he realized that every book's binding texts were in various confusing languages, some of which he'd never even seen before. This made him furrow his brow curiously and move on to the desks.

~Saichion~ Sighing to herself Saichion closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose. Thinking deeply, she considered Elijah's question with serious thought. What were they going to do to them today? Were they going to be able to get a break? If so, would it be one or two of them? If it's just one, will they be safe be safe by themselves?
Furrowing her brows from over-analyzing the simple question in her thoughts, she looked at Elijah somberly and responded, "I don't know really. Maybe they'll do some dissection today, or physical check-up to see how were sustaining to the tests. I'm hoping it's just going to be just a simple response test again, and then maybe some food in the cafeteria hall."

~*~Batty~*~ Batty's eyebrows furrowed -a bit- to Eva's response, before welcoming the little one's gentle hug. Surprisingly to herself, it didn't hurt as much as she was expecting it to. She judged to herself that it was possibly not entirely healing in rapidity, due to the knives being that of purification. No matter she snuggled down with the little one in content comfort. She watched the little mischief Eva unleashed on Saichion and Elijah, and giggled along with her at it's success. "Wow!," she exclaimed, then jokingly said, "You managed to foil Saichion's pestering. 5 bread meals to you girl. Keep it up and I'll go starving." Batty glared at Saichion's too serious response to Elijah, before conjuring, "No body takes anybody today. We will eat and have a break today." But she knew within herself it would not be entirely true. She knew that at least not all of them will be given a break today. But still, she would make sure Eva got the 5 breads she earned, all the same.

Eva Experiment 13886 Eva shifted uncomfortable at Saichion's serious response to Elijah, and also because Elijah brought up the reality of their situation so easily. Dropping her eyes to the ground she could only think about how much she hated it here, and Batty's testament for the day didn't help too much. But Eva knew better than to let the fact that they were testing experiments for a batch of cruel scientists get to her too much. She was sure that her best friends didn't want to deal with a mopey child all day. So Eva breathed in and looked up, keeping her fear at bay.... that was until the familiar sound of foot steps and wheels came from down the hallway. Eva tensed up and pressed herself against Batty, watching the door of the cell with wide eyes.
"I hear them." She whispered, and just by a fear induced reaction, when the cell door open, Eva slammed it back shut earning them a cry of alarm and then a threat.

Elijah Electricity is the Key Elijah sobered up quickly at Saichion's reply. She was right, but he was more than willing to buy into Batty's declaration. He cheered with her, and with a goofy grin looked at Saichion.
"I'm sure it'll be normal stuff. Nothing too taxing..." Then he heard them to. He heard the creaking metal door open, footsteps in the hallway, and the squeaking of the wheels on the mobile beds they brought to bind them down onto for transporting. Sometimes they brought a cage on wheels to. He tensed, backing up, as the door opened, and then jumped when it was slammed shut again. He glanced at Eva with a smirk who only stared at the door with wide fearful eyes, causing his own expression to harden with hate and rebellion.
Finally the scientists dared open it again, and a few in scrubs stood by while one in a lab coat primly read from a clipboard. Finally he looked up.
"That one." He said, pointing to Saichion, and the scrubs went over to grab her.
"Hey!" Elijah said, surprising them by getting in front of her. "What about me?" But they were ready for resistance as always and before he could react, one of them brought out a taser.
"Wait!" The scientist cried, but the scrub was already pressing it against Elijah who pretended like it was doing it job until he froze and grinned at them, turning the bolt of electricity back, and the scrub was down for the count.

~*~Batty~*~ Batty grinned over at Elijah's helpful push towards a positivist attitude, but she could see Saichion still wasn't bought. She glowered at her for a second, before snapping to attention at Eva's fear. Not understanding why at first, she worried about Eva's paranoia levels, since her senses were still dulled. That was until she watched as the two youngest of the group start trying to defend away the monsters that trampled into their place of minimum sanctuary, before slowly rising to her feet in shadowy silence. She could feel -and practically see- the demons that waited in the shadows dancing and wiggling for her command, as they fed off her anger. They pooled beneath her then, as her hatred grew to the attack the scrubs were making towards the group. Forgetting her wounds, and the pain that started stirring when she rose, she had a shadow tengal reach up behind one and begin strangling him. Batty's face broke into that of an menacingly, seductive smile, like that of a cat toying with a mouse before killing it, watching the man's face start turning blue. Her senses in heightened, to the thrill of it all, as the man's life weakened. That was until someone charged at her from the side, with a needle that held a sedative. Losing focus on her prey, as the medicine kicked in, the man being strangled slumped to the ground in unconscienceness. She turned her head slightly then and watched in blurred motion the men strap Saichion down to a gurney, until she lost consciousness.

~Saichion~ Dazing out to the groups cheery attitude, Saichion thought about the likeliness of the possibilities more in depth. She didn't want to fall into the trap of forgetting the negative. Doing so made her feel as though she were being unrealistic, and Batty already had that covered for the both of them.
Then everything started to pan out around her, like an intense panorama scene. Eva slamming the door, the scrubs pointing to her, & then Elijah taking down a guard with his electricity. Saichion froze. She wasn't ready for the day as she had thought she was. She tried throwing out her hallucination abilities then, to make it seem as though the guards had already subdued them, but it only lashed back at her with a blinding migraine.
A guard cried out in weak distress, making her look up to see if she had done some significant damage, and she saw the most horrific thing she had possibly ever scene. Batty strangling a guard with her shadow manipulation, and enjoying it. Her eyes widened in fear at her friends humanity slipping into the darkness of her upbringing, before she winced again to another piercing pinch in her skull.
She hissed at her ill fate for over using her abilities earlier, as she stumbled back against a wall grasping her head. Two guards rushed her then, & slammed into her dramatically with force, to make sure she was really incapacitated, before dragging her rag-doll body to a gurney. As soon as her back hit the bed though, she began to fuss in protest, but in weak flusters flailing and rolling.
They injected her with tranquilizer -to finalize her struggle- and all went dark.

Elijah Electricity is the Key As both Batty and Saichion fell into a drug induced slumber, Elijah was knocked to the side as if the man in scrubs was a linebacker bent on revenge. The boy let out an involuntary bolt of electricity as he slammed his head against the wall that the scrubs pinned him to, and they also went ahead and did the honors of slamming a needle unceremoniously into his upper arm, filling his veins with sedatives.
The grogginess took effect almost immediately, and Elijah slumped down. The scrubs loosened their grip and then let go completely after they were sure that the boy was no longer a problem.
"Damn you." Elijah groaned, a heaviness affecting his eyelids. He fought as hard as he could, but his body wasn't responding to what his determined mind was yelling. Finally he gave in, and passed out.

Eva Experiment 13886 Eva couldn't do much, and she was terrified and guilty at the same time. She tried to knock the syringes out of their hands, and tried to push them back, but it was really to no avail. The team swarmed them, and Eva was tired. Her ability was weak from yesterday's testing, so in the end all should could do was watch with her big, fearful blue eyes and recede into her bear hoodie while clutching her stuffed animal as tight as possible.
The scrubs left Batty and Elijah, and wheeled out Saichion, causing Eva to cry out weakly and earning a threatening glare from the scrubs that had invaded the cell. When things had settled down, Eva crawled over to Batty and shook her gently.
"Batty?" She asked quietly. She looked over to Elijah as well with a pained expression, and then to the other children who were also to scared or weak to defend their trusted leaders. She didn't want to, but Eva felt that she might actually have to step up and take care of everyone. Or more, she didn't think she could being so small and afraid as she was.

Cyrus The Guard ............ On the desks Cyrus found two computers, a stack of files, manila folders, papers, binders and the like. There were locks on ever drawer on the desks so he wasn't able to rummage through those. So instead he began rifling through the papers. What he found was disturbing...
In one binder labeled: EX. D. were several pictures of children his age or younger and with these pictures it looked like data and information such as their ages height, weight, and as he skimmed down the page a stamp at the bottom had his stomach clenching and his heart break it's normal rhythm. The stamp read: DECEASED - FAILED. and next to it was his father's signature.
His heartbeat sped up at once as he flipped through the pages in the binder only to find that every single of these children were stamped the same, and every single page was accompanied by his father's signature. He closed the binder quickly, and with a quick silent check with his ears, he heard no movement downstairs. He needed to know what this all meant. He began to scatter the pages a bit as he rifled through them until the label of a light green manila folder caught his attention. It read: EX - S The similarities to the first were too close to disregard and Cyrus hesitantly opened the folder. It was thick with papers, and many of the papers inside were sectioned off with paperclips. His heart stalled this time however and his eyes glued themselves to the picture of the child on the first page. He knew this child... His eyes slid to the right and read the name, mouthing it as he did so.
Saichion - 17 Experiment number 10410
"Experiment...?" He muttered softly. Just as he was about to flip through the pages he heard the footsteps on the stairs. Probably a bit too late. Shuting the folder and trying to put everything back where he had it, Cyrus's thoughts rushed and panicked. What did all this mean?
He was out of the room, just as his father turned the corner, giving him a suspicious eye.
"What are you doing?" The man snapped. Cyrus blundered at first, his father's face reminding him of the signatures next to the children that were probably dead.
"I was getting some morning exercise in." He replied on the fly. "Cardio cardio." Cyrus mustered a smile, but his father's gaze went to the door of his study and back to Cyrus. After a moment though the man straightened up and crossed his arms.
"Don't forget strength training either." He said as an order. Cyrus nodded, knowing his training regimen, but hoping the extra running around was still convincing enough.
"Yes Sir." He replied and with that jogged off. He held his breath though as he passed his father, feeling a sense of dread. Surely the man wasn't as fooled as he seemed to be.

~*~Batty~*~ Groggily forcing her eyes to open again, Batty looked over to see where the tiny voice -that was calling her name- was coming from. She fumbled an arm around then, trying to feel her way through, as to force her body to reject the sedatives they gave her. Her hand brushed onto an arm, and she used it to help prop herself back up again. To her surprise when she released her grip, she noticed her fingernails had grown greatly longer from their norm. Then her vision changed to see the rooms heat signatures, and Batty knew something was wrong. She glanced over her shoulder to see whose arm she had grabbed onto, and winced a bit to note through scent, that it was Eva. She quickly turned away then, knowing that her demon side was surfacing through, and she didn't want to frighten the others with how her eyes looked. Lightly she touched her mouth, and felt her sharp demonic K-9's poke her fingertips. In a hushed voice, with her back to everyone, she spoke to Eva, "Eva make sure everyone stays away from me, until we are fed. I'll try to alert a guard that we need to eat, okay?"

~Saichion~ She awoke with a blaring naked light shining in her eyes, while a small table holding medical tools sat beside her. Panic flooded her nerves, and she laid still, hoping they'll leave her alone for longer if she seemed unresponsive. Thus meaning less time for them to experiment either way.
She slowed her breathing back to deep sleep breaths, and focused her concern on her group. Saichion knew Batty wasn't doing to well, the last glance she saw of her. Her bloodthirst was too high from her normal facade of coming off human.
Then all went still in her thoughts, when the lab coat scientist walked in, and viciously injected her arm with a new serum.

Eva Experiment 13886 Eva nodded, her expression unable to shake it's concern as she gently herded the children to the other side of the room. She then went to where Elijah lay unconscious, and tried to shake him awake. He seemed out for the count though, and there was no way she was able to move him either with her small physical strength nor with her mind. Her brain throbbed, not having recovered from yesterday's testing, and today's futile attempt to protect themselves. With a soft sigh she settled by Elijah and kept an eye on Batty should she need to protect the children from their own.
